Perfect power supply for microphone, comes with XLR cord

I recently bought a microphone for my iMac for making videos for my website and didn't realize that the microphone needed its own power supply. After a bit of research I found this power supply and decided to try it and I am glad I did. The Neewer 1 Channel 48V phantom power supply is easy to hookup to your microphone. I tested it out and have no feedback or other issues with any of it. One tip, you may already know this, is to get your microphone to work you have to remember to go into your settings on your computer and turn on the microphone instead of using the computer's microphone, but that's about all there is to it. Along with this power supply I got the Excelvan BM-800 microphone and love it (I have a review on it and you can see more tips in that review), and the Sabrent USB External Stereo Sound Adapter ($6.00), and the Neewer Adjustable Suspension Boom arm. That's all I have needed for it to work with my iMac. I wasn't sure if I needed the soundcard but I did so I am glad for the $6 I got it. If you have a Mac you may need it as you may also have one input / output line for audio and this external soundcard will help so your can connect your microphone. Once connected go to Settings, Sound and look for USB Sound Card and click on that to make the microphone the default instead of the builtin microphone. *Tip: Ignore other reviews that say to get the XLR male to female microphone cord as it's included with this power supply. Works well

This unit was easy to install and use. Came with a male to female XLR cable and power supply. Connect it to your mic and device, and your set. I used this to connect a Tonor mice to my PC. It made a significant difference over connecting the mic directly. Worth the money.

Exactly what I needed!

I bought this microphone set: TONOR Professional Studio Condenser Microphone for my business to make some videos and possibly some podcasts, etc. It needed a Phantom power supply, so I purchased this one. There isn't much to say about it except that it does exactly what it's supposed to do and does it perfectly. :-) The power supply comes with an adapter to plug into the wall and also comes with a 3-pin XLR cable. There is an on/off switch and an LED light to let you know when the power is on. It seems well-constructed and sturdy. The Neewer Phantom power supply is super easy to plug my microphone into. It's small, doesn't take up a bunch of space and does what it's advertised to do! The sound I got from my microphone was crisp and loud using it. It's exactly what I needed!

My mic sounds better than ever!!

For anyone with a Condenser Microphone this is basically a must. Before I bought this Phantom power adapter my mic only worked when I plugged into a desktop, but the sound was sloppy and it wasnt that good, with the Phantom power theres a Huge difference. Sounds amazing, its really easy to set up, and simple to use. absolubtly recomend it.

Phantom Power Amp, good price, fast shipping!

Packaging: Amp was wrapped in anti-static bag and placed inside of a box, along with its power cord. Amp was packaged secure enough and then the box was placed inside of a shipping box, along with another product. Amp was delivered on time as promised, very happy with packaging and shipping/delivery Product: I purchased a studio mic before purchasing this amp, so I had to wait to test both the mic and the amp. Hooking up the amp to the mic was simple enough, just followed the directions. This phantom amp supplies the power for the mic, so without it, the mic WILL NOT work. I found the instructions to be clear enough to follow and the amp appears to be well constructed. On the front of the amp is an LED that lights up when the amp is powered on, across from the power switch to turn it on. The appearance of the amp is nice and it appears to be sturdy. The connections are all in the back of the amp and the plugs/jacks are marked (one side connects to pc sound card and the other connects to the mic itself). I am very happy with this purchase so far, after more usage, I will post an update.

Highly Recommend - Great Product

Works great, basic plug and play for my mic - thought I was going to have some issues due to other reviews when hooking up a mic for the first time, but this Phantom Power Supply was super easy, hooked right into my laptop with the standard mic headset plug and I was up and running, recording immediately. Smaller than I thought it would be, but works great!

supplies phantom power to my Neewer NW-700 microphone. Works great, and comes complete with everything shown in description. The blue light stays on quite a while after it is turned off. Thought it was defective, but I think it is just the capacitors holding the energy because it does eventually go out when you turn it off.

Outstanding

Works very well. This unit does not introduce any noise, is very small and works flawlessly. I was a little skeptical (although I have had issues with Neewer products in the past) at the advertised price, this just seemed to good to be true. It is very small, well built, with a quality power switch. I am very glad I bought this over the $50-$100 models as this is all I needed. I didn't want to pay for features I didn't need and wouldn't use. Outstanding job, Neewer!

Simple and Efficient

There's really not much to say other than it works exactly as it should. It does one thing and does it well. I bought this to provide phantom power for an Excelvan BM-800 Condenser Studio Recording Microphone (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Q4RGQHY/) also purchased from Amazon. The mike connects to its input using the supplied cord. The output connects to the PC mike jack using the cord that came with the mike. I did not have to by another cord for my setup.
