Solid Product from Company that Cares

As a mom that cares about products used in my home, I am pleased with these flexible cutting boards. They are color coded (although we are vegetarians and won't really matter) and have a gripping on the back so they won't fly off the counter. The product comes with a warranty and they seem really interested in your feedback. I like that they are interested in how a consumer enjoys the product. I included a photo so that you can see the size in comparison to everyday items. PROS: 1. they are flexible. You can chop and lift and bend for easier food placement in pots and pans. 2. Dishwasher Safe. This is HUGE. 3. This is nonporous material. 4. Perfect size. 5. The company stands behind a warranty and they want you to activate it. CONS: 1. Because they are flat and smooth, if you are chopping juicy fruits, you will get run off. Place a large towel or a bamboo board with sides to catch juices. 2. I thought they would be slightly thicker. These are thin. SUMMARY: As a picky mom, I give these mats a thumbs up. I would buy again and feel they are a better option than other cutting boards.

Better than the rest!

I've had plastic cutting boards before. In fact, I rotate them out once they get yucky or old or have too many cuts through them. I usually buy the cheaper ones and they are pretty flimsy. With that being said, these cutting boards definitely surprised me with their durability and thickness. Not only have they outlasted all my other cutting boards, but they have been very resistant to being cut through. They have a nice textured pattern on the back side for support and strength, as well. They are vibrant in color and labeled just the like the picture shown on the product listing.

PERFECT

Our house came with a built in slide out cutting board in our kitchen which sort of grossed me out so I bought these to put on top of it, they are so thin that the whole pack fits on top of the cutting board in the little cabinet it slides out of and when my choppings are ready to go in the pot I just pick it up, bend it and every gets into the pot! Then I just stick it in the dishwasher easy peasy! I wish they came in all white with black labels though, the colors are a little gaudy for my taste.

Nice economical set of cutting mats ...

My old set of flexible cutting mats finally wore out after ... let's see ... 6 yrs of nearly daily use, so I needed something to replace them Saw these, read the reviews and decided to give them a shot. Glad I did! They're thick enough to feel "substantial," but still flexible enough to curve to make transferring my sliced/diced ingredients into the pan or wok much easier. The non-slip "waffle-grip" bottom works well on my solid-surface counter, too, with no slippage. And these are color coded so that you can keep the poultry mat just for poultry, the fish mat just for fish, etc. These are NOT self-healing mats (I do a lot of crafts, and use self-healing mats for cutting paper and fabric -- these don't work that way). But they are thick enough and sturdy enough that so far, I'm having no problems with knife cuts on the surface -- and I use the veggie mat daily. For the money, these are a relatively economical solution -- dishwasher safe, easy to store, etc. No complaints. Will likely purchase additional sets for family members, too.

Easy to wash!

Have been using for 1 month and I'm happy with these sheets. Pros: > easy to wash (dishwasher safe) > foldable > variety of colors make it easy to sort and use Cons: > leaves cutting mark on it > a little too big for me (I have a small kitchen) I'm overall happy with these cutting boards. I'd consider cutting some of them into half as they are a bit too big for my kitchen counter

The colors are pretty and the mats are very well made

I threw away all my old cutting mats after using these a few times. The colors are pretty and the mats are very well made. Durable with heavy use and they go through the dishwasher beautifully, which is really the most important thing. My motto is "If it won't go through the dishwasher, I don't need it." The Cooler Kitchen people are nice folks, too.

Attractive, Sturdy, and Versatile

I had these for only four days before I left town, so this is a "first use" review rather than long term. That said, they are very attractive and seem sturdy. They are a nice size, so when I'm chopping vegetables they stay contained on the mat. The don't bend easily but enough to make chopped items pour into a bowl. The little pictures go with the color coding, which is a sensible idea. I'm not so sure we'll stick to it as we don't do much cutting on meat, chicken, and fish but we often have more than one person cutting at a time. So these are pretty versatile. The pictures are cute and I like the colors.

Easy to use and clean for veggies, chicken, fruit and salads

I have been cooking and baking with a set of three Walmart flex chopping boards for almost four years now and it was past time for an upgrade! After our previous boards began sporting open cracks from excessive knife use and retaining food stains, I did some Amazon research and found this set of beauties. The set was delivered quickly with easy instructions for use, washing and registering for the warranty. I was pleased with the icons labeling each flex board for different cutting use. They are easy to store and wash well in our dishwasher. We can fit two at a time, one at each end of the bottom rack. The thickened layer at the bottom of the cutting board ensures that your knife doesn't go through and break the board. We've had them for about a month and I highly recommend them for any amateur or average cooks and bakers like ourselves!

Great plastic cutting boards set

I am very pleased with my plastic cutting boards. I bought them to use to cut up meats. I wanted to be as sterile as possible about it. I use my wood cutting boards for everything else. I like that I have a plastic cutting board for each kind of meat; beef, chicken and fish. I am also using the one that has a tomato on it for pork products. I feel very confident in there being no cross-contamination of any meats and vegetables. Thanks so much for selling them.

We use these daily, and love them!

Oh man, do I love these. We use them heavily - usually at least one of them is used for cutting daily. They're thick, NOT easy to cut through, and really easy to clean. Once a week, I put them all in the sink with a tablespoon of bleach in the water, and ta-da - sanitized! I've had friends buy cheaper versions of these mats, but they always end up having to go back and re-purchase something else. Not with these! You'll love them!
