It gets the picture and sound from my PC to my TV. It's thick, which means you probably need a bit of space (say from the back of the unit to the wall for instance) to accommodate a wide curve from the connection points, but at least it might withstand a cat or dog chewing it up a bit. If you need a 15 foot long HDMI cable, this will do the job as well as any other, more expensive specimen, in 99.99% of cases.

I needed an HDMI Cable and bought this one because I was connecting it to my phone. I wanted a long one so I could sit on the couch and make changes from my phone. The ends plugged in just fine to my TV and the adapter I was using. The cord is rather thick. I am guessing that is just how thick these cords need to be. It makes the cord bulky and heavy but I am guessing that is unavoidable. Happy with the cord and the price was more than fair. Thanks for reading my review Becky Brooks

I know sending a lot of data through a long HDMI cable is not easy. Most cables don't have any problem with full 1080p full HD but at 25ft, few cables are capable of doing 4K. Coming into this fully aware of the challenge, I did not expect it to work for 4K signal transmission. But it really worked for 4K at 60fps. I know this is not one of those "certified" premium for 4K and it might be hit or miss. I was lucky. I tested it with the Samsung K8500 UHD blu-ray player. This player's home screen is 4K 60fps and it worked fine. I popped in a couple of 4K blu-ray discs (most 4K blu-rays are 24fps so it's a lot easier on HDMI cable) and it worked without any issue. I then tested with the Costa Rica 4K 60fps on youtube and it also worked. For every test, I pressed info button on my TV remote to see the input signal and confirmed the correct input resolution and frame rates. To sum it up, if you want to buy this cable to for 4K, go for it. It's NOT guaranteed to work but there's a good chance that it will. I worked for me. I guess I'm lucky but you can be too. If it doesn't you can always return it.

Installed this 35-foot active (RedMere) cable in wall, and it works great, including 1080p at 60Hz -- beautiful TV picture. Also installed a 35-foot passive HDMI cable in same wall, and it works equally great, including 1080p at 60Hz -- beautiful TV picture (Mediabridge 91-02X-35B Ultra Series HDMI Cable - 35-Feet https://www.amazon.com/Mediabridge-91-02X-35B-Ultra-HDMI-Cable/dp/B009K4J8RS/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1494281759&sr=1-1&keywords=mediabridge+35+ft+hdmi). The active cable is slightly smaller in diameter than the passive cable, if that matters to someone. So either would work, I just wanted to be cautious since getting into the wall again would require a major effort, so now I use the passive cable, with the active as backup if needed.

for the price it can't be beat. in store these are $35 bucks!! got my ps3 back up and running. diablo 3 here i come!! good picture quality for the price of the cable. is there better, sure, but your not gonna find it for under $10. if you are on a budget and need a good cable, this is for you. if you're a super picky freak, go spend $50 for a better cable. me i can't tell the difference between this and my old $35 cable. thanks amazon, cables is well worth the money. by the way, my cat and pet pig chewed up my old cable, it's why i needed a new one. Update: still going strong. Evil cat chewed it a bit and still works fine. Pig didnt get this one.

Cable is noticably thicker than HDMI cable from 8 years ago...one that would not support 4K with HDR. This one works perfectly for 4K/HDR, even with ARC (audio return channel) and HDMI control passing over the same 12' cable. I love having a single cable to the wall-mounted TV that passes video from a remote source, returns full surround audio to the receiver, and allows the TV remote to control the hidden components. I have been pleased with the Amazon Basics brand.

I was nervous about such a long cable that it might lose quality but it did not. 25 foot HDMI from my PC to my big screen and the picture and sound are perfect. Very thick heavy duty cable and came well packaged

I wanted to have my desktop connected to the tv. This cable works perfect! I’ve had it almost a year and it still works like it did on day one. It still looks like it did the first day I received it to. It is easy to set up. It shows up instantly when you move it over. When you watch a movie it has the sound on the tv to. You have to set it up to do it. It’s a good price. I recommend it to anyone. I will buy again.

HDMI cable works great! Look no further. I tested with HDR and Dolby Vision content and it all works flawlessly. Before using this cable, I had some free cables that the installer gave when I had my TV mounted. Everything was fine with my Nvidia Shield but I was having issues with the Apple TV 4K. For some reason, when I try to change the video settings, it wouldn't save it. My setup, I have my TV connected to an AVR and all my players are connected to the AVR. After replacing the HDMI cable going to the TV with this cable everything worked great. No more issues. I highly recommend this, especially if you're running cables in wall.

Positives: -Works as advertised -plenty of length for long runs across the ceiling -Durable cable material Negatives: -Heavy if mounting or hanging -May be challenging to route thru mounts or conduit Summary: Good cable for the money that works as advertised. It is a bit heavy and thick, but that if that makes it last then I am fine with that. Works in my ceiling mounted projector application just fine.
