Lots of great features and LOUD!
As a homeschool mom of six, this is the third such item I have purchased over the last few years. I also have QFX Rider Portable Waist-Band Portable PA System Voice Audio Amplifier With Headset Microphone, USB/SD/3.5MM Inputs Rechargeable Batteries and PYLE-PRO PWMA50B 50 Watts Portable Waist-Band Portable PA System with Headset Microphone, Rechargeable Batteries (Color Black). This unit is far superior. First of all, it is both loud and clear, which is obviously a plus as voice amplification is its intended purpose. Second, it charges via a standard USB block charger rather than the proprietary charger that came with the other two portable PA systems. So if you lose the charging cord, you can easily replace the cord rather than the entire unit. It also has the added feature of being able to read both a microSD card and a USB flash drive, which is fantastic if you want to be able to speak with music, for example, as a fitness instructor, but would also work for listening to audiobooks or just music while you work etc. It's just a great bonus feature. Also, it works just fine with the following replacement microphone, which is great if you or your kids tend to break or lose microphones. Headset Microphone, Flexible Wired Boom (Standard 3.5mm Connector Jack) for Mic Systems Overall, I am extremely happy with this great little unit!

Great company to work with. Possibly having an electronic enginer to correspond with would be mor fun!
WinBridge WB001 Rechargeable Ultralight Portable Voice Amplifier Waist Support MP3 Format Audio for Tour Guides, Teachers, Coaches, Presentations, Costumes, Etc.-Black Winbridge has been wonderful. I have been working with them directly. The over the head mic for me is very uncomfortable. I purchased a Lavaliere type. Better, but I found some interference when the wire rubber on the clothing. Winbridge sent me another mic with a better Lavaliere design. In the meantime, being an engineer I did some changes on the wiring. For me it was much better. Their unit arrived on11-15-17. I then recharged the amplifier overnight. This morning I plugged both mics in and to my awful surprise the Amplifier was not working. On 11-18-19 at 10 PM I sent the company a note about the amplifier and suggested that they first have a couple of brandies before reading my e mail. They thought my wiring changes to reduce the external noise was great. Anyway it has been fun working with them.

Very nice amplifier!
Works really well. I used this while talking on the phone to my elderly parents who don't hear well. They could hear me just fine. No static, background noise or blurring of the sound of my voice. Amplified very clearly! I have chronic throat problems so speaking loudly is damaging to my vocal cords. I thought this amplifier worked really well. I didn't have to talk loudly and others within 20 feet or so, could hear me well. I talk very softly, so this really helped me to be able to communicate without having to go walk up right next to others and communicate. I would have liked the head piece to be wider with some padding though. I think it would stay in place better. I'd be willing to pay extra. Very pleased over all. I would purchase again!

I received this in the mail about 2 weeks ago and love it! I am a teacher and I was going through a bout of bronchitis that would cause me to cough every time I tried to speak louder. I have a class of 100 students and I often received feedback that students in the back of the classroom cannot hear me (esp. when other students walk in late or talk). I do have a softer voice, so trying to force myself to speak loudly really stresses my vocal cords and sometimes, it aggravates my acid reflux. The voice amplifier certainly does its job. Instead using the enclosed belt to put around my waist or neck, I have purchased a regular sports wristband and clip the amplifier there. At higher volumes, you can get some feedback, but this is easy to remedy by lowering the volume or switching your body position. My students are happy that they can hear me and I am happy that I don't have to raise my voice.

Great little device
I received this to use in my kindergarten classroom and I am extremely impressed with its performance. I lost my voice the first week of school and needed something to help my students to be able to hear me. It was simple to charge and to start using. Both the amplifier and the headphone is lightweight and comfortable. I wore the amplifier across my body like a purse. The headphone is comfortable on the head in the microphone is adjustable to the mouth. The sound quality is great. I do not get any feedback and I can adjust the volume for inside or outside use. I was even able to use it in a large crowd of people outside and everyone could hear me. Our PE teachers loved it so much they are planning on purchasing them for their classes to use all the time. The interesting thing is is that my kindergarten students paid closer attention to me and seem to really enjoy it.

Great for girl scout meetings!!!!!
I am a leader for a young girl scout troop of 20 girls. It is often very hard to talk over them and I don't have a very deep, loud voice. While looking for some sort of solution, I stumbled upon this little gadget. I am so glad I did! I used it for the very first time a few weeks ago and all of the girls could hear me and I think they paid attention more because they thought it was neat that I was using it. It was so nice not having to yell and strain my voice. I believe I had the volume turned up almost all the way. It is nice that I can just lower the mouth piece if I need to talk to someone one on one, and then just simply put it back up and speak into it again. I love the large belt clip. . . I felt confident it wouldn't fall off and it didn't. It only squelched once in the hour and a half I used it and I think that was because I bent down to listen to a girl ask me a question and somehow, probably leaning to close to the chair behind me, it had feedback. But it was only a quick little squelch and then it stopped. The only issue I have is that I have a hard time fitting the headpiece on correctly. It always seems to stick out of the back of my head and feels weird, but nonetheless, it is comfortable to wear, I just need to practice how to wear it. Wish I'd have bought this years ago!!!!!

GREAT Amplifier!
The setting I use it in is a small classroom and it works very well. It allows me to keep my voice at a normal speaking level and be heard by my students. I usually wear it as a necklace but have also used it on my waistband just fine. I just prefer being about to quickly raise or lower the volume and wearing it as a necklace seems to work best for that. This would work in a much larger setting than I am using it for i.e. an auditorium, larger classroom, fitness center, etc. I think it would work great for theater students whose school doesn't have microphones. The battery lasts a very long time. There are features I have not used so can't report on them but for simply being able to turn it on and get teaching quickly it is quite effective and easy to use. What I have enjoyed the most is the sound quality. I get clear, crisp sound with NO shrill sounds unless the microphone is right up against the unit then it will squeal loudly. I definitely recommend this microphone.

Works well
The device works very well. I just used it for a presentation in a fairly large room to a group of 80 people, and it boosted my weak voice nicely without feedback, which was my only concern. The device ran at full volume for an hour lecture, and seems to have plenty of power left. The headset band is a bit small for my big head and hair. The photo shows the device on my pant, just a white ring really, and the headset with the band buried in my hair. This is a really great aid for doing presentations or running meetings, particularly if one is having trouble with one's own vocal volume.

A VERY happy customer - EXCELLENT product
I am caretaking for my 88-year-old mother and decided to purchase this product because I literally can't hear her when she speaks. No one can! We can see her lips moving but no sound seems to come out. I decided to see if this product would amplify her voice so we could actually have conversations while driving, strolling (in her wheelchair), and at restaurants. BINGO - it works PERFECTLY!!! I It's like mom and I now have a whole new relationship, being able to share thoughts and stories. I love this product and have recommended it to many people. I even get people coming up and asking what it is. When I tell them they are amazed. Also want to thank all the people who reviewed the product which implelled me to purchase it - those reviews were spot-on! :-D

I lost my voice due to an illiness. My choices were surgery (would last about two months); a device you held to the larynx (600 dollars) or the Winbridge. It took a short time to charge it and then figured the volume since it does have feedback. I just use the clip to the belt since I am in bed or in a large chair. It has so many other features that my son (who is a musician) was impressed. My family and friends are thrilled since they don't have to sit as close and ask me to repeat myself.
