This is the safest item for animals.

My animal rides in the back seat of either a Jeep Grand Cherokee or a Nieson Titian P/U full double cab. the whole back seat is hers. It hooks easily into the seat belt latch , she can move around on the seat, quite easily, never to the floor, just the way I have it adjusted, it hooks to her harness, if we were to be in an accident she would be on the seat, she would not fly around back there or God for bid become a flying projctile out a window. she would survive the crash. Keeps my pup safe

This doggie seat belt is exactly what we needed for our pup. He's a 70lb german shepherd boxer mix who thinks he's 7lbs and wants to sit in our laps while we drive. We like to keep him in the back seat in case we get into an accident and this seatbelt does the trick! It was so nice that I bought a second for my husband's car! It clips into both my Mazda CX5 and my husband's Mazda 3 with no problem and hooks onto our dog's harness like a leash. Definitely recommend this!

GREAT RESTRAINT

Driving my new dog the vet the first time was a nightmare. He tried to get in my lap and then jumped down in the floor and almost got under my legs. This neatly solves the problem and I especially like that it locks into the seat belt clip and NOT the lugs. It is well made and fully adjustable.

Heres 2 things you should know before buying this product ...

1) This should only be attached to a harness. Not a collar. If you hook this to a dogs collar and happen to get into an accident you could seriously injure or do worse damage to your best friend. 2) The clip portion fits your standard GM vehicle. Chevy, GMC, Cadillac, etc. 3) The nylon is not cheap flimsy material. I hope i never have to test it but it seems strong. 4) The length is adjustable with your standard slider type adjustment. Great safety tool for all pets.

Got this for my husky, shepherd mix to use in my car for outings. It has been one of my favorite dog purchases of all time. He is safely in the back seat without being able to climb over on me when driving. I can put the windows down without fear of him jumping out in a moment of excitement as well as I can safely open doors and hook him to his leash before releasing the car belt from him. It's also very adjustable so I can adjust it to give him more space or less as I need.

Keeps my dog safe

This product is great. I used to have a hard time keeping my dog in the back seat and off my lap. This lead to distracted driving and me feeling that my pet was unsafe. This has helped tremendously because it allows him freedom that his kennel doesn’t, without leaving him unsafe. I would recommend using this with a harness so it doesn’t choke them.

Just what I needed.

I needed a safe and simple way to secure my young a Catahoula in the car. She doesn't do well in the car because she gets anxious and moves around in the back seat. This was exactly what I needed. The seat belt works with my old Mercedes seat belt receptacle. It appears to be well made and durable. I like that it is adjustable to fit her height. I haven't had opportunity to use it yet so I can't evaluate how well it works for her yet.

Worth the money. All pet owners should own one.

Theres not much to review, its a seatbelt for dogs. I have a pitbull and an altima. The leash is long enough where if you have a mastiff or a great Dane, and theyll be able to be harnessed comfortably and turn around comfortably. If you have a small dog, the leash can be adjusted accordingly. I do reccomend to have a harness on you pet and not put this attached to a collar. The belt buckle clips on just like a regular seat belt. Sturdy design.

Exactly what I needed

I wanted a restraint for my lab puppy for two reasons. First was short term, as she didn’t know to sit still in the car and I was concerned she would get hurt. The second of course was to protect her in the event of an accident. I looked at doggie car seats which she would have quickly outgrown and were expensive. I bought this seatbelt as it seemed to fit all our needs, and it does. It’s easy to use and inexpensive too?

Great product!

Such a great product! I have a little pup who thinks it’s ok to jump out the window, and this was a lifesaver when driving with him solo! He got his freedom with my mind at ease. The only negative was that it didn’t buckle in right away, I had to shimmy it around for it to click, but the product does works and stays secured.
