I absolutely love this product and I love that I got two - one for my car and one for my boyfriend's truck. Our little fur baby is never not buckled in, these seat belts make me feel so much better about bringing her for rides I'm no longer worried if we're in an accident is she going to panic and jump out the window. I mean honestly ask yourself; is your dog's life and safety worth $8.99? Cuz our little girl is worth everything to us and that's why I felt the need to get these and I'm glad I did they're so easy and sturdy and I love that they have them in pink I would buy these again and again but they're going to last a long time so I know I won't have to as I waited to write a review to make sure it was a good product I hope this helps but just saying it's so worth it

I will admit, I was skeptical that this would work with “any” seatbelt, but it truly did. Over the course of my trip, I clipped it into an Audi, three different Chevys, a Kia, a Subaru, and a Hyundai. I just didn’t realize that seatbelt clips were so standard. For me, my dog is a champ in the car, stays in the backseat and pretty calm, but I worry. I would be heartbroken if we wrecked and he died or was seriously injured because he wasn’t wearing some kind of restraint. We wear seatbelts, why should our dogs be unsecured in the car? This gave me peace of mind that he was tethered in just like I was, just in case of a collision. The adjustable length was great. He could still move around enough to make himself comfortable in the back seat, while still being locked in. The clasp that attaches to his harness and the fabric are sturdy. Couple this with a sturdy, comfortable harness, and your dog will be safe and comfortable in any car.

Updated 1/31/18: I had originally purchased these seat belts in 2016, and they were a literal lifesaver for my dog. My car was totaled when a car going 45mph in the opposite direction crossed lanes and hit us. My dog was wearing her seatbelt and the police and EMTs were shocked that she was ok and didn’t fly through the windshield on impact. They could barely get my door open and I went to the hospital, but my dog was injury free. I just purchased a new set for my new car, and I would recommend these without question to any dog owner! I got these for my dog for quick trips around town --- she has the bad habit of wanting to jump into the front seat with whoever is sitting there - and since she's 50 lbs, it doesn't really work out. I bought these based on the price, but what has really blown me away is Vastar's customer service --- they completely went above and beyond, and I would not hesitate to do business with them again. I got these seat belts a day before expected to arrive, in a soft envelope, so they fit in our mailbox. I was surprised by the speedy shipping! Unfortunately, having not been restrained at all in the car, my dog did NOT like them and managed to chew both of them apart. I was upset, but figured I spent less than $10, so it was no big deal. I managed to tie two of the ends together (I was surprised they held up in a knot), and used it as a makeshift seatbelt until I could get new ones. About a week after my purchase, Vastar had emailed me asking about how I liked the product, and if I had any questions. I told them that I was unfortunately unable to really use them, since my dog had destroyed them within the first few days. I was super impressed that Vastar worked with me to send a replacement belt immediately. They said they wanted me to be satisfied with my purchase, and sent me a new one, with a shipping confirmation. Not only did I receive the new belt in 2 days (it even arrived on a Sunday!), but they sent a 2-pack, rather than just one. My dog is now used to wearing her seat belt, and I have had zero issues with the replacements. The fact that they went totally above and beyond makes me so glad I purchased these, and will continue buying products from them in the future!

I bought this product because we give our 30 pound dachshund-mix the back seat when we travel. He is short, around maybe 18", but he is LONG. Over time, the more trips we took with him, I became concerned about his safety should we ever be in an accident. I didn't want to worry about him flying around the car, I wanted to know he would at least be secured somehow. We already had a really nice harness for him (bought it on Amazon, OneLove Harness), so this seemed like a smart choice to keep him buckled down with the harness. Thankfully, we've never had to test it for safety. But here's what I can tell you I love about this product: - It's adjustable so we have it at a length that allows him to adjust around the back seat, but not enough lead for him to jump over his hammock (a seat protector for dogs) and into the front seat. - He doesn't get tangled up too much. He loves burrowing under his blankets, and spinning around in them to get a more snug spot to lay, but I don't find him tangled up as much as I feared he would. He still does manage to wrap a leg sometimes, but this is typically during longer car rides and we have an extra person in the car to unwrap the leg. This isn't a design flaw, it's bound to happen with a dog like ours. I am just surprised he doesn't get wrapped up more. I definitely recommend this product. I think it works fantastic and I feel good about his safety.

Works well for the price - keeps my dog from trying to climb all over the car while I'm driving, easy to use, pretty sturdy material. Just to be clear, though: this does NOT function in the same way as a human seat belt - in the event of an accident, it's not going to offer much in the way of keeping your dog safely restrained, and could possibly even cause more harm. There are other, more expensive products that offer the same type of across-the-body restraint as a human seat belt for pets; this is basically just a means to keep your dog in their seat while in the car, as opposed to any sort of genuine safety mechanism. But if all you're looking to do is get your dog to sit and stay in their seat - this is good for the price. I recommend using it with a harness as opposed to a regular collar, though - it's going reduce the risk of choking injuries, should you come to a sudden stop.

These seat belts are the best! They click into the seat belt in my car easily and then connect directly to my dog's harness. I love the two-pack for $7 because we keep one in each car. I feel so much better because my dog is safer. She also loves being able to look out the car window in the neighborhood and I don't have to worry about her jumping out. She went on a convertible ride the other day and loved it. These seatbelts are super sturdy! Absolutely awesome especially with this price.

I love that you get two of these for the price of one. These are higher quality straps than any others that I've seen. The buckle is sturdy and the hardware is all metal, no cheap breakable plastic. The straps themselves are made of good, thick, nylon. These buckles adjust to keep them in one seat, or you can leave it longer fit a little roaming room. My service dog gets excited when she gets in the vehicle because she knows she's going to work and gets to see her favorite people, so she talks quite a bit. It's cute, for about 30 seconds. Haha! I've found that buckling her in not only makes me feel better (no more hard stop falls) knowing she's safer in the case of an accident, but it also seems to take away her anxiety by making her feel more secure...and quieter. The two straps are great because I leave one buckled in on each side and that way she's ready to be secured easily, no matter what side we enter from. A bonus is if you have a dog that likes to jump out as soon as you open the door, that all ends now. Leave your dog buckled in until you have the leash secured and voilà! Side note: only use these buckles if your dog is wearing a harness. No collar attachment!

I've had seat belts before, and they broke. These are very sturdy and hold my 90 lb lab great!

First of all I'd like to say that I had a great experience with the customer service. Very straightforward and quick responses. So if you do have an issue which is probably rare for this company it is in my great assumption that they will take care of it properly and quickly! Packaging was great as well. As for the product itself, I initially bought the seatbelt because I was concerned about my small shih tzus jumping out of the window as they are very brave! I was hesitant at first because I did not know if it would solve the issues I was concerned about however, The installation is extremely easy, just like any other seatbelt. You can adjust the straps to have more or less Mobility and the quality is great. The belts also come in handy for more reasons such as when the driver or passenger is trying to exit the car, the dogs will not jump to the front of the car or even during a ride which my dogs tend to do. I also noticed that if you have to stop short your dog will not slide to the front or bottom of their seats. I would recommend this as I have done for the past week. I cannot Express how helpful this has been and not only do I feel more safe bringing my dogs places I think they have adapted quickly to it as well! To get to the point, you cannot go wrong with this product especially with the quality and price! Go for it

We purchased these in order to drive our two dogs from Missouri to Florida. I was extremely nervous about this trip because prior to this, they had only been in the car about up to 20 minutes at a time. I was concerned that they would jump out of the car at a rest stop or get on each other's nerves. They are usually crazy and falling all over the car. We rented a Nissan Pathfinder, and this product fit perfectly into the seat belts. The dogs had an amazing time. It seemed like they felt safer being buckled up because they were very calm during the 1030 mile, three day drive. We used an old comforter to protect the seats from dog hair and scratches and tears; we cut holes for the seat belts, and we positioned a cooler between them, so they would not bother each other. I will use this every time I put them in the car from now on. I highly recommend this to dog owners.
