Great Sun Protection

This was a great investment. It definitely helps protect you from the hot sun. I have used this in the garden now for about a month in the midwest. The only negative would be it is a little flighty so you need to use the chin strap. When washing the hat, I would hand wash and line dry.

No more neck sunburns

No more neck sunburns for me 🤙🏻 PROS: Easy to wash cleans up nice. Breathable material. Long bill to protect your face. The drape covers your ears nicely. CONS: apparently my neck is a little longer than most people so doesn't quite cover all of my neck if I tilt my head down. So if I was focusing on something in my hands like tying a line I will feel the sun hitting the bottom portion of my neck around my back/shoulders area. My cons aren't worth taking a star off I just thought it was important to point out if you got a long neck it might not cover the bottom portion of your neck.

I spent the day at a water park with these. It was 95 degrees outside. The hats fit my boys and I perfectly as they are adjustable on the head and under the chin to hold them on. The light color and thin material had me forgetting we were even wearing hats. The brim is wide enough to protect all sides of the face and the flap protected my boys necks. I have a larger head and cannot wear most typical hats but this fit just fine and my 8 and 10 yr olds kept them on the entire day. I even threw them in the gentle wash cycle after to get the chlorine out and they fared fine. They are waterproof material. Great product for sun protection pared up with a sun blocking shirt. I hate sunscreen so this made my day!

this really works in southwest Fl. The hottest sunniest part of the country.

I have bought this before. Perfect for doing outside work in southwest Florida. Where we get the hot humid sunny weather 10 months out of the year. And if you keep this damp by dipping in pool or hose, it will keep you cool if your cutting grass or cooking a BBQ, or even building a pagoda. When your out in the sun for hours upon hours you do not realize hot burned your neck or nose is getting, Or even how dehydrated you are. This hat is a godsend. We keep many hats around for yard working, pool play, or just BBQing. You have to protect, protect, protect. This hat is specifically designed to cover ears, and neck.

I have tried several hats to keep the sun off of me but all were uncomfortable because they fit too tight. My head has a circumference of 23 inches. This hat fits very well and is extremely comfortable. It is well made and in my opinion is very stylish. I love it so much I have ordered another in the light gray color. I highly recommend this hat!

Hat just spent the last three months on my head for 10 hours a weekend for an outdoor job. Protects the neck perfectly, keeps the neck warm on cool days, brim is long enough to shield eyes from the sun. Other perks: hat protects head during light rain, keep head warm when the temperature dips below 70, keep it cool but protected in hot (above 80) weather.

These are great

Worn to hike to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Lightweight, great protection from the sun and adjustable so that my husband and two young sons could all wear them and enjoy a perfect fit.

Better than any garden hats I have used

Bought one of these last year for my sister-in-law and bought this latest one for myself, on her recommendation. Fit is wonderful and it does not fly off in the wind, provides full coverage of face, ears and neck. Keeps the sun off and provides plenty of ventilation so does not add to the South Texas heat. The visor could be stiffer as it does blow up in the wind, but it is windy on top of this hill where we located the house for the view and at least the entire hat does not blow away as did previous hats and caps.

Perfect for hiking!

Bought this bad boy for the hubs since he always gets sunburn on his neck. This hat worked well and love the front bill. It's a bit too large for maneuvering tight spaces BUT it works out well everywhere else. My little issue is I wish the back cover was a bit longer, just a couple more inches since my husband is a bit tall (6'5"). For the price, this hat is perfect!
