Great lock!

Great lock and it's pretty long so you have many options on how to lock it. You also set the code yourself so you can use something you know you'll remember. Also, I was skeptical about the holder that it came with and that it might fall off and I wouldn't notice it but after some pretty bumpy rides I haven't had any problems!

Mounting bracket poorly constructed - Customer Service Sent a Newly designed clamp.

The cable-lock seems to be OK but the carrier bracket supplied with it is poorly designed and constructed. It is very weak plastic as soon as I began to tighten the clamp screws the corner of the bracket snapped off. The third photo is of the redesigned bracket sent to me from the company's customer service. Since I had already made my own bracket I have not used the one sent to me but it does appear to be a stronger design than the original one that broke while installing it. I will say their customer service is responsive which is appreciated. Due to their great service I have bumped my original review from 3 stars to 5 stars.

Solid and Reliable

Purchased this prior to a trip to Italy. We were taking the train there between cities and other travelers recommend securing our luggage to luggage racks to prevent bags from being stolen from the train. I purchased this bike lock for this purpose. It is strong and well made with a secure lock. The lock opens and closes based on a number code which I was able to set easily. We were able to store it easily, flat in our suitcases when not in use and it served it's purpose well.

Overall Wonderful! But A Tip-May Not Fit With Your Rear Bike Light!

Never been so happy with a bike lock. Super easy to install on the bike and to set the lock. It took less than ten minutes to get it up and going. I love how simply it glides in/out of the secured mounting bracket. Feels quality! Of note, if you have a rear flashing bike light as many do, **it probably won't fit in addition to this mounting lock.** I found this out the hard way...I had to order a horizontal, smaller bike light because this lock/mounting bracket takes up most of the pole directly beneath your bike seat. Also think about this if you carry a pack in that spot. Still giving it 5 stars because it's wonderful!

Great length and excellent bracket

Great length and excellent bracket. I want a lock that is big enough to do the job but small enough to not get in the way. And I want a bracket that holds the lock tightly and securely yet makes it easy to attach and detach the lock. Many bike locks are too short or too long. Being too long is annoying because the lock will be heavy and bulky so it breaks the bracket, jiggles, or is a pain to put back on the bracket. His length is just right for securing the bike to a pole or rack and/or securing the frame to the front tire. The bracket is really well made and sturdy. The release button on the bracket works nicely. And the strip on the lock that attaches to the bracket is a good size and sturdy as well. Bonus points: the combination rotates nicely and has no play in it that would allow a thief to try different numbers to determine the combination. I’m leaving this review after owning this lock for 18 months and I'm back to purchase two more for a new/second bike for me and for my wife’s bike. Highly recommended.

Sturdy, log wire and configurable lock number

Lock wire is very sturdy and pretty long, so it is easy to lock bike on any kind of bike stand. Lock number is configurable so you can provide something of your own. I like it and will recommend.

Very useful for not only a bicycle but also securing a chain link fence gate

After discovering that someone during the night opened the chain link gate to my back yard and leaving it open, my dog got out. Fortunately a neighbor called me and I retrieved him. We have had a series of car break ins lately in our development so I suspect someone was thinking of coming in through my back yard patio, but my little Schnauzer "Miles" must have barked and ran them off. So I bought this rather than a pad lock and chain because I hate keeping track of keys. It is very simple to program for your personal 4 digit code and appears sturdy enough to resist compromising except for heavy duty bolt cutters.

Great Build Quality and strong lock with easy mechanisms as well as great feeling keys

Excellent lock Study build quality I was quite surprised by how heavy it was initially. The dials are extremely tactile and feel incredibly smooth while transitioning from digit to digit A long and strong band, very helpful to park and lock your bike in places you might not be able to with a U Shaped lock. The mount is easy to install and used a standard star head screw driver.

Best bike lock you can get

I've been using this for a few weeks now. It's a great lock and works well. Easy and smoothe to move the numbers, and easy to unlock with the right password. It's a great price for a great bike lock. Very pleased with this product. It comes with a piece that allows you to screw it onto your bike and you can attach and detach the bike lock. I personally didn't use it cause it doesn't look pretty on my bike haha and I can just put it in my bike basket as I rode my bike or wrap it around the body of the bike and lock it.
