These have survived horrific abuse from elementary and secondary students ...
These have survived horrific abuse from elementary and secondary students. They've been sat on, been twisted and squeezed to half size, and gone through countless dodgeball games. No visible damage on any of them in 4 months. Hardly any tears even when the mean 6th graders hit the 2nd grade students at recess. Even when adults join in they don't need to hold back as these balls simply don't hurt. They fly through the air well, though they are quite difficult to catch compared to the inflatable rubber type of playground ball. Well worth the extra money. My only complaint is drawstring clasp on the mesh bag broke, didn't hear the whole story but it was probably mistreated by the kids.

Perfect size, perfect softness!
We bought these balls after using larger, inflatable dodge balls for our homeschool PE class. These balls solved multiple problems for us. The smaller size works great for smaller hands so the younger kids can actually get a grip and throw the balls. The softness of these balls means that nobody gets hurt when hit. The kids all love these dodge balls!! The storage bag works great for transporting the balls back and forth!

High quality, sturdy, easy grip, and soft!
Used these today at our kids game time at church. There were definitely some direct face shots with hard throws and no injuries. Just what we were looking for and no tears in the skin. Would definitely purchase these again as they are high quality, sturdy, easy grip, and soft all at the same time.

Perfect for Trampoline DodgeBall!
My kids were jumping on the trampoline and throwing soccer balls at each other.... and it hurt. So I bought these for them and they love them! They remain outside on the trampoline and made it through a winter in Germany so far.

Easy to throw, no pain when hit.
These balls are made from soft foam and not inflatable. No pump needed, and they will not deflate since they're made from foam. We have had these balls for only a short while, but they seem to be good quality and seem very similar to what we've had previously, and those balls were very good and durable. I bought more because several have gone missing since then. I was a bit surprised at how expensive they are, but that's my only gripe. The outside is somewhat glossy, nice looking and colors are very bright and good looking. You do get a good grip when you grab the ball. We purchased this set for a youth group, and the teens are able to throw the balls quite fast but without hurting anyone who gets hit. The net is great for storing them. It is quite a bit bigger than it has to be, so you can fit several more balls in it, even if the other balls are a larger size than the ones in this set. I was a bit concerned at first with the size of the balls. They are a little bit smaller than a standard soccer ball, but the teens have been very happy with the size. Easy to grab with one hand, easy to throw, nobody with red hurting faces.

Fun for all!
We used these balls for a 3-grade reward party. Our assistant pricipal thought these were much nicer when she got hit than the old air-filled balls. Less sting. Very easy for smaller hands to handle.

Making dodgeball fun again!
Not sure how I made it to adulthood when my childhood dodgeball didn't use these. I can remember trying to jump over one of those red utility balls we used to use and having it catch my foot and send me tumbling, not to mention the face burns and neck injuries we didn't know could actually be bad. No such worries here. We were playing with both middle school and high school students at summer camp last week and some of the younger students definitely had a look of fear in their eyes when they looked at the older baseball players. I through a ball to a pitcher and had him throw it at me as hard as he could. I barely saw the ball, and he hit me straight on but no pain. So great!

Durable, safe, fun!
We purchased these dodgeballs for use in the school P.E. program with 3 through 6 year olds, and the after school program with 3 year olds through 6th graders. These dodgeballs do not sting the children's faces or body if they are hit. The covers are very colorful and durable. You always have some children that like to try to destroy things the first week they get them, and some of the older children apparently competed to see who could throw or smash the new dodgeballs the hardest until they were caught, but these dodgeballs have stood up to the abuse and look like new. The children and the P.E. teacher are very happy with these new dodgeballs. The mesh storage bag is a nice plus, helping us to keep the set together for the next time the children play. I highly recommend this set of dodgeballs for some high energy, but safe fun.

Nice set of balls.
I was expecting these balls to have to be inflated when they arrived, but they are self-inflating by design with a great foam. The first thing one of my buddies did was squish the ball as much as he could and it rebound to full-size after being fully compacted. The outside material seems pretty good, so far the balls have withstood being thrown into brick walls, bleachers, and a gym floor. The set came with an over-sized carry bag which also held my soccer ball and foot ball too.

Meets high expectations
These have worked very well. After about 6 months of regular use, they still look like new with no cuts or tears. Their main use has been indoor dodgeball at the end of cub scout meetings, although they have been used outside as well. In scouts, the balls are a good size for 7-10 year old boys, but they are also fun when the dads join in. Although they can be thrown quite fast, when they get up and hit someone in the head or face, it isn't a game ending injury. A few times when a father has hit a scout high, the reply has been "Head shot, doesn't count!" That, coupled with the fact that they magically haven't gotten any surface cuts has impressed me. So, although I still think they are too expensive, 5 stars for a good technology that lets everyone have fun.
