Original review - Right out box The swivel keeps losing up even though I’ve tightened everything up. I use my tablet for and cannot keep facing it up while I’m driving. Update - So I’m updating my review the vendor sent me a new one and this one is perfect does not move at all from the desired fixed position. Thank you Ben for making this right.

I got this piece to make my Samsung 9.7" tablet a permanent fixture in my car. I was concerned about the weight of the tablet hanging on the vent fins, but it works great and is very sturdy! Highly recommend this product!

This is the best invention ever. Used on a 12 hour road trip and it done its job. I was wary of it because of the price, but I can't imagine how the rest which are mostly in the 30-50 dollar range can do a better job. Go for it! It's the bomb!

As a professional driver in New York City, this specific tablet holder for the A.C , made my life so much easier, at first I didn't think it would work because the two legs at the bottom that helps the holder stay in place..thought it wouldn't work, after my first day using it on a busy weekend , speeding , potholes , speedbumps , I was very surprised it kept itself in place and wasn't sliding from side to side. Doesn't bother my windshield view or my blind spots because it's right in the center and allows you to use it easily while you're driving. Thank you for an excellence service and with the shipping , perfect timing. Keep up the good work.

As cheaply made as this thing looks and feels, (and is) it’s amazingly durable, extremely convenient and versatile. I have 2 tablets I use it for it fits both fine and I’m able to hook it to my stearing wheel and door panel. I had to super glued 2 pieces together right out of the box and didn’t expect much after that. I use this everyday and it gets thrown around the car, sat on, other heavier items thrown on it (full Backpage) and still functions just fine. The button to release the arms get stuck every once in awhile but if you press it a few times it pops out

The reason I am posting this review, as I do not do this often, is due to others complaining about this tablet holder being unstable. This can simply be addressed or fixed by adding a couple of zip ties. Please refer to the pictures that I am posting. This makes the holder very stable and is an easy and economical fix. Almost everyone has a couple of this zip ties laying around. Even a couple of wire ties from your bread would work. After doing this I was very happy with how the device performed. I am not planning on removing frequently anyway. Notice in the pictures that in my case the holder is rotated 180 degrees bringing the center of gravity even higher and making it potentially more unstable. The zip ties took care of this. I live in Florida and the rubber pads in the “feet” fell off within a few days due to the heat. No problem. The zip ties made these little pads unnecessary as the holder no longer relies on friction to remain stable. I am 6 ft tall, so rotating the holder and bringing the unit higher does not block my view. It does improve the visibility of the car controls. The new location is just perfect for me. The only disadvantage is that the release lever is now on top of the unit rather than underneath. One more thing: the ipad holder when locking into the base “slides down”, therefore rotating it 180 degrees could potentially make it fall off. A little crazy glue took care of this for me. Yes, a couple of zip ties, plus a little glue, and I am very happy now. I spend a lot of time in the car and the larger GPS navigator is much more convenient. I am taking half a star off due to the zip ties and glue not being included in the package. However, I am rounding up to 5 stars as I am very pleased with the results and couple of zip ties is no big deal and only a few cents. Pros 1. Very stable (when using zip ties and glue) 2. Does not block view of my car controls. 3. Fair price. 4. Free shipping. 5. Zip ties or wire ties to make it work is no big deal. Cons 1. Need to spend a few cents more on zip ties to make it perfect. 2. Zip ties are not included. 3. A little glue to make sure it does not slide off when using it upside down. 4. They claim it works 360 degrees, though the mechanical slide/lock design does not support this claim 100%. Just add glue and forget it (on the pad that has the slide locking mechanism). 5. May take a little patience to get the zip ties inside and out around a vent slat. 6. The rubber pads on the feet fall off due to heat, but who needs them anyway! Conclusion: 5 stars after rounding up from 4.5 stars based on results

It's a great concept, and I love it. However, for those who have a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee like I do, the contour of the dash/console will not allow for use of this product. Okra provided great customer service in trying to see if they had anything in stock that they could send to me, and sadly right now they do not.

So far it's great, fits my Sony Xperia tablet just fine. We'll see about the long-term with this product with as time goes by. It will be severely tested with me, I'm an over the road truck driver and this product will earn it's rating (one way or another).

Thank you for figuring out a different method to mount a tablet in the driver/passenger area of a car.. Wasted money on at least 3 sticky/adhesive dashboard-type mounting systems over the years. This product's version of the hook around the vent and multijoint supporting system worked well with my car and looks like it would in most others. Kinda obvious jbut ust make sure you consider what panels/buttons/other screens you may be blocking if you're mounting a (larger) tablet.

I use this product for work. I do a lot of off-road driving for work and the holder has never failed. I just wish the rubber pads on the support leg(s) had some sort of reusable adhesive component to them so the holder could be held firmly in place because the holder tends to move/slide (left/right) a little bit when I am off-roading so I have to keep reaching forward and manually moving the holder back into the exact position I like it in.
