Best Bed Side Fan I've Ever Owned!

This is the best littlengan I've ever owned. With the two speeds and it being as quite as it is there is no comparison. I bought this because I'm very hot natured and my temp in my house stays at 69° year around. This fan helps keep me cool at night and the way it moves air across my body it's the perfect fan to replace the big stand fan that takes up so much room: I am extremely happy with this purchase probably the smartest purchase I've made in years. So this item gets 5 stars times 2. I would encourage anyone looking for a small clip on fan to give this one a try. It is absolutely the best bedside fan I've ever owned.

Great Find!

I purchased this to replace a tabletop fan I used for years. I wanted something small to fit on my nightstand for a great price. This fan is surprising powerful and quiet! I use the clip which is very strong so that it is portable and I can take it anywhere. It has two speeds and does well enough on the lower setting to circulate air.

Great fan for a quiet office

I wanted something small and quiet for my desk where the office A/C doesn't reach so well. I had hoped to clamp it to my cubicle wall but the cord wasn't long enough to reach my surge strip on the floor. No worries though because I snapped on the tabletop base instead and just slid my phone over to make room. There are 2 speed settings, which are controlled by a switch on the back of the unit. At just an arm's length away, the low (1) setting comes in at 69 decibels. Switching to the high (2) setting only raises it to 71 decibels, so both settings are very quiet. Air flow is great and I actually have to turn it off after just a few minutes because I'm already cold. The fan is 100% plastic, but it's very pliable and not brittle so I think it will hold up well for my use.

Great for dorm rooms!

I love this fan. It has practically stayed on all day since I bought it a couple of months ago. I use the clip to clip it to the bed in my dorm room. It has the ability to point at an angle, so it can blow on me as I sleep. I enjoy that it has the two settings and not just one, especially for when I get hot at night. The fan was easy to assemble and would be easy to clean. I don't think the fan is silent per se, but I really love the white noise sound it produces. It is just loud enough to go to sleep to, but not too loud that it is overpowering.

Initially I bought a Turbo Fan of another company but I had to return that in one day because of its high noise and low air..I saw the reviews of this "Avalon 6 Inch Clip on Fan" then I ordered it as I felt it would meet my requirements. It's been a week I started using this, I would say this is one of the best products I have ever bought from Amazon. Its small in size, low in price but great in quality(air) and with hardly any noise. You can find 2 pictures, one with stand and another with Clip.

Capable personal fan

I've actually found the clip-on mode to be more useful than the table-top mode, although the table-top option is a plus. Pros • Really sturdy clip-on. • Good air flow for size. • Owner's Manual (Although not indicated in assembly, note that Butterfly Head Screw is inserted on side opposite of hole with hex cutout -- so that Nut does not rotate when tightening screw after adjusting fan angle.) • 'UL Listed' registration mark on fan label and box. • Quiet, especially on low speed. Cons • Notched, fixed positions swivel for clip-on base vs. continuous variable swivel (but continuous swivel probably would introduce other problems). • More effort than expected to adequately tighten screw to set fan angle.

Perfect for Indoor Cycle / Stationary Bike

I have a Tsunami Pro "Waters" indoor cycle. It doesn't come with a fan like the bikes do at the gym do and I was really needing one to help keep me cool. This is a perfect, cost-effective fix! The fan comes with 2 bases, one for clipping and one for setting on your desk. The clip base is firm and doesn't slide around. I put it on the pipe that runs around the top of the bike (by the control panel) and at its widest, the clip is open 1½ inches and the grip is so firm that this fan isn't going anywhere (see the picture)! The head pivots up and down too, so I can have air blowing on my face or on my chest. The fan is about 8" across so it is bigger in real life than it looks in the picture. It has 2 speeds and I like the high speed for when pedaling my heart out.

Purchased for elliptical

This fan is perfect. I bought it for my new elliptical. I attached some photos below of how I have it set up. It stays clamped well. isn't wobbly etc.
