This was placed in our foyer since our shoes seem to pile up by the front door. This bench has been AWESOME! We can place about 8 pairs of shoes on the 2 racks and makes tidying up a breeze. It was super easy to assemble. I'll sit on it and put my shoes on and it's not too low to the ground and is comfortable for the 30 seconds I need to sit. Definitely recommend for a place to store your shoes!

Sturdy. Great quality. Fits 6-8 pairs.

Perfect size. **Fits two average sized adults** as needed for removing and putting on shoes.. not intended to fit two people comfortably for lounging, but for sitting and handling shoe business--perfect! **Comfortable seat.** Appealing, sleek and **sturdy.** Assembly was straight forward. Some of the bars may have been slightly warped which meant getting them on took a little effort at times, but totally doable. Once the screws were in and secure, I had no doubts of its capabilities. I would recommend. **Mine fit 6 pairs of shoes** (can fit 7 or 8 depending on the style of shoe ie. flats/heels vs work shoes and heavy duty boots). There is enough space to fit calf-length boots if you are okay with them bending to the side --not recommended for rain boots, those are too firm. But others work just fine! My snow boots fit just fine with space to spare.

Perfect entryway shoe bench by a great company!

I had originally ordered a similar bench from another seller on a lightning deal; but, having always had such wonderful experiences with Songmics, I decided to reach out to their customer service to inquire about their bench in black. Black matches out decor much better, and it looked like a much sturdier, more comfortable piece. The customer service representitive who got back to me (Bruce) could not have been more helpful! He assuaged any of my concerns, and assisted me in ordering this bench, so I promptly cancelled the other order. I am so happy I did! I just set it up, which took maybe 30 mins at most, and it really could not have been easier to assemble. There are only 7 pieces, plus screws, for which an allen wrench is provided. You pretty much put the whole frame together in one step — just be sure to only hand-tighten the screws at first, as all the pieces need to fit together before the screws are all tightened. I followed the instructions and affixed the cushioned top before tightening the screws, ensuring they were just tight enough to hold the frame together during the process. Once the top was on, I went around and systematically tightened all screws until the pieces of the frame were flush with one another and secure, but not too tight as to warp the screw holes through the frame. I flipped the bench back over, set it on the ground, and sat on it. No wobble, felt sturdy, and the nice cushion on top is, indeed, very comfortable for such an item. Thank you for producing and helping me acquire this awesome product! Songmics has become my go-to for good quality home storage furniture and such at affordable prices! They stand behind their products, and their customer service is just wonderful!

it looks super cute and stylish

I am currently writing this review whilst sitting on this very shoe rack bench and can only say the most positive things from the bottom of my butt. First of all, it looks super cute and stylish, well-tailored and durable looking. Second, it was braid-dead easy to put together and the instructions were simple. Third, it's really durable. It's far from wobbly or creaky or smelly or heavy. I love it so much that when my sofa comes in a few days, you can bet my buss will still have raving reviews about this bench. Get. It.

A nice spot for your rump.

Seems like when I looked for shoe rack/benches, there was two extremes to choose from -- rather cheap or stupidly expensive. I'm no wolf of wall street, so I opted for this one. I'm pretty happy with it overall. I wear a size 6-8 in women's. I don't wear high heels so all my shoes are small enough to fit. My husband who wears size 11-12 can fit his shoes in there, with the exception of his work boots which are too tall. Well they could fit if I wanted to cram them in there, but he's more particular than I am, and prefers his boots to be easier to grab. You can stuff about 8 pairs of shoes comfortably, or even 10 if they're mostly small shoes. I stuffed our flip flops and other small sandals underneath the bottom rack.

organizes shoes in a visually pleasing way!

Other reviewers were right when they said it took a lot of strength to get some of the screws to line up accordingly - but, my husband and I were able to build this and like using it. It's perfect for our space near the front door and stores our shoes well, organizing them in a visually pleasing way. I specifically chose this brand shoe bench because of the padded seat (padded and easy to wipe down), and the fact that the shoe shelves allow for any dirt to fall off the shoes and onto the floor, making it easy to sweep away (unlike if the shoes were stored in cubbies and each had to be wiped down from the inside out individually).

Excellent Product! Exactly as stated! Love it Love it! I'm so happy with my purchase and it fits beautifully in the foyer area. So now not only can you put your shoes AWAY but have a place to sit as well. I love dual purpose items. I have two ottomans that are leather and not only can you sit on them but you can store stuff away in them as well. It keeps the home organized with pieces that can do multiple things. Also, my boyfriend put it together in 15 minutes! Easy to put together! A very functional, sturdy piece of furniture and it looks very nice as well!

Loved it but I did away with the top and put on butcher block and painted it.

Great Entryway Bench

This is a great bench / shoe rack for the entryway. It has a beautiful, modern, sturdy design. The bench was easy to assemble and is worth the price. It holds 6 pairs of size 12 men's shoes / boots.

Love love love it, if you notice if you enlarge the picture there's a sign that I got off of Amazon that says please remove your shoes and a basket I also purchased through Amazon and the slippers and the rug I also purchased through Amazon . Love it all
