Every cook needs these

I love these brushes! I have bought one before. I especially love that you can remove the brush head from the handle, which allows me to wash it so much easier. I actually prefer these to the natural bristle type because these don't mind the high heat at all. I often use em to brush the oil in my frying pan for an even coating all over the bottom, I use so much less oil that way and food won't stick. Every cook and anyone that cooks ought to have a set. Great for basting BBQ sauce on your grilling items, veggies or meat, greasing cake and cookie pans, just to mention a couple of ways to use. Then when you're done just remove the head and wash, or place in dishwasher silverware basket upside down. They won't melt like boar bristle does at high heat and they are cleaner, saunter too because fat/butter washes off completely.

I have a similar basting brush and like it so much better than the old paint brush style, but it was always dirty when I needed it, so I decided to order this set. They are really wonderful, the quality is so much better than the one I have! The brush part detaches from the handle for easy cleaning. They have much smoother application and coverage. I use them for basting meats, spreading sauces and spreading melted butter on dough when baking. I just love these and they work perfectly. I am so happy with my order.

easy to handle, spread the oil very well

this is my second review. the first brushes had a sweet chemical odor that I noted, but a replacement set is fine. I thought they were on the small side but it turns out this is a good feature. The small size makes them very flexible and they spread the oil very well. I like them better than some of the other silicone brushes I have purchased. There is a web in the middle that I have seen on only one other brush I have purchased. I think it holds the oil so that you can spread it out better. On the whole I am very satisfied and will purchase them in another color if they have one.

These wonderful basting brushes perform exactly as advertised

These wonderful basting brushes perform exactly as advertised. The larger brush holds a LOT of liquid (and mind, liquid ONLY, not smaller bits like spices; that's what the smaller brush is for) for covering large areas with fewer stops to re-dip. The smaller brush holds a really good amount of liquid as well but also holds those small bits like spices too. I've used it several times with a basil-rosemary egg wash on pizza crusts and calzones and it really holds those spices well. They come apart and re-assemble easily to wash up by hand, but they do NOT come apart during use. I am 1,000% pleased with my purchase.

Works Great - Easy to Clean

I was a little skeptical of these brushes when opened the package and saw them. Upon using them I was impressed, they work just fine. They just look and feel different than a conventional brush but they do the same job and are much easier to clean. I don't know how long they will last but guess they will surprise me here to. Recommended.

Useful and easy to clean

These brushes are used for my smoker which is in use every weekend. Brushes are immune to the heat, easily cleaned and store well. I used to use big cotton "BBQ mops" which made a horrible mess in the smoker, were a pain to clean, and were essentially stored inside the smoker itself. Now I keep these in the kitchen and use them for daily chores as well as the big weekend chores in the smoker. A squirt bottle and these brushes are all that I use these days. Very useful. Sent quickly, packaged nicely and safely. Were exactly as ordered. I am happy with them. Highly recommended seller too.

Very impressed!

Wanted something that worked better than the bristle brushes to apply BBQ sauces. These work great and cleanup is extremely easy. Wish the handles were a couple inches longer when using them on the gas grille, but other than that I'm very impressed. Next I will use for spreading butter on the pancake griddle. My feelings are that these will work perfectly, not burning from momentary contact with the griddle.

Better than a bristle brush

Swapped my bristle basting brush for these and was immediately impressed. They hold much more liquid, making the task quicker. I mainly use for brushing the tops of rolls with butter or for basting BBQ chicken. Work great for those uses and can just toss them in the dishwasher. Will use this kind of basting brush from now on.

Good brushes, great

Worked very well for basting. First set had a brush with bristles that fell apart for no reason. Without asking, the company sent me a new set. The second set has held up very well. Good brushes, great company

Great Brushes

I am not a big cook or baker, but recently had the need for brushes to do an egg wash. I ordered these brushes & am very pleased w/ them. They were easy to use & got the job done. In addition, they were very easy to clean. I have not had them very long & only used them a couple of times, but they seem like they’ll hold up well.
