I am so very glad that I found this cheesecloth ! ! ! I've been using "store-bought" for years not knowing that there was a QUALITY cheesecloth available. So many times I've had to resort to using my flour-sack dish towels to strain my jelly, now I don't have to, this cheesecloth does the trick ! ! If handled with care and respect it can be hand washed and reused many times over. I just finished straining my homemade Limoncello (which contains a large amount of very fine lemon zest) and this cheesecloth caught every bit of the particulates!! My Limoncello is clear as can be with only one time through the cheesecloth! Gotta love that! I'm sure this will come in handy for a long time to come. It will get it's next work-out when the summer fruit is ripe. Great product, well worth the price!

I'd never cooked a whole Thanksgiving turkey before, and heard that the best way was to use a cheesecloth (soaked in butter and Sauvignon Blanc). The turkey turned out a beautiful russet color with a gorgeous crisp skin. It cooked evenly under this fine cheesecloth and retained its moisture. I'll never cook a bird without it again!

This is a great cheesecloth and it comes with awesome customer service! I purchased this for making huge batches of cold brewed coffee. The cloth is large enough to easily strain the coffee without making any mess. I can also rinse the cloth with ease or just throw it in the washing machine. It's held up nicely after being washed multiple times. About a week after this product arrived, the seller contacted me to be sure I was happy with my purchase and that there were no issues.

I though I had written this review but it's worth saying again. Made 7 large fruitcakes for my list of Fruitcake Lovers (they are required to give me back the tins if they want one the next year) and each was wrapped with this cheesecloth sprinkled in Brandy. Have some cloth left over but will be ordering more for next year.

I loved using this to strain my Elderberry Syrup. I had to use powdered ginger because I had forgotten to get ginger root. I had the cheese cloth folded so there were 4 layers to strain through. It came out PERFECT. 10/10 recommend this product!

I use this to cover my sushi rice for onigiri so that the rice cools without drying out. I'm extremely careful when washing, cooking, prepping, and forming my rice that no unwanted flavors taint my quality rice (I even use a certain square bamboo spoon only for sushi rice). Dampening this cloth and placing it over my rice while it's on a bamboo board is absolute perfection and I pick up no unwanted flavor or odor. I trust this cloth when maintaining my super high standards of quality.

I don't think I need to say much here. It's cheese cloth that works as advertised and can be cut to length and re-used a few times before particulate begins to build up inside. They're nice to use while making cottage cheese, but also great if you'd like to add additional filtration onto a strainer. You get a nice amount of it in the package, but of course, make sure the dimensions are what you need before buying. I don't use cheese cloth often so this pack I bought should hold me over for a long time.

This is a quality cheesecloth. If you have ever made cauliflower pizza, you know that the texture of your crust depends on how much water you can remove. This cheesecloth does the job. You can exert a lot of pressure and the weave remains tight. Have used repeatedly and still works great. I machine wash and air dry.

I have never made any cheese until this last week, hence I am new to cheese making. I used a recipe from instructables.com (here: [...]) to make some mozzarella and ricotta, and they came out great. Special thanks to mikewma for the instructable (instructive lesson with photos). As far as the cheese cloth goes, it worked fine and I used it with a strainer and a large, 3 gallon plastic bowl. I do have a few simple recommendations. First of all, be gentle with it, I think it would be easy to tear. Though it is re-usable, I suggest washing it by hand, again, gently. Upon first receiving the cloth, I suggest rinsing it in cold water and letting it soak in a pot of water with one drop of dish soap for 5-10 minutes. Then rinse it again and let it soak in 'soap-void' water and rinse it again. Let it soak again in new water and wring it out, but remember to wring it out gently. Hang it to dry overnight, and it will be perfectly ready for use, clean, crisp. It is larger than a few other options for cheese cloths, yet comparable in price. I doubled it over when I used it for straining. It worked great that way and was much better for use than a metal strainer. You will enjoy this product and it will serve you well. Remember to use it properly and with care, as it may be fragile. As far as the shipping went, it came in promptly along with a nice note from the seller. Thank you to Pure Acres Farm ([...]) and Amazon.com for an awesome product - I hope many people enjoy it as I have, so far. Thank you for reading - I always welcome questions and feedback. :)

Great cheese cloth. Doesn't leave any fibers (that I'm aware of) and I've used it several times with machine washes between each of them. Works great to wring out shredded vegetables, or thawed frozen spinach, or to make clarified butter. It does start to take on the scent of things you've strained with it before, even with the washes, and for that reason I think I'm going to buy a larger size and then cut what I need and then throw that piece away after use. Easier than cleaning it after each time, and it's not too expensive anyway.
