Glad I bought it.

The stand arrived this afternoon. I have used it twice with my 12” iPad Pro. I was a little concerned because I expected the stand to be larger but it holds the iPad just fine. Overall I am totally satisfied and plan to buy another one of these stands soon. The only problem is there is a bit of movement when the iPad is in the vertical mode and I touch the screen. I may just use it horizontally oriented when doing a lot of typing. I like that when sitting on the table by my sofa it has a smaller footprint; leaving room for other gadgets.

The adjustable hinge has the perfect amount of resistance in it so that it's fairly easy to adjust but the weight of the iPad Pro (I use a 12.9, so there aren't any heavier ones) is never sufficient to make it move on its own. I would note a slight caveat, however. I was hoping the base was just very heavy but OMOTON has instead opted for a sticky surface. There's nothing wrong with that design, and so I haven't removed any stars, but for my personal use, I actually need to move this thing around my desk for a variety of tasks. Not a flaw, just something to keep in mind. I'd say it's ideal for people who have a specific place they want their iPad to be every day, which I'm sure is a very normal use for this.

A Beautiful Device!

This is a beautiful, well made stand. My husband bought one for his iPad Air & I bought mine for my new iPad Pro. This is a great stand for watching movies or following recipes. I love it! My husband loves his and it looks like a small iMac and his smaller tablet fits beautifully.

Hey everyone I just ordered this Friday (04/15/2016) and got today when I got out of class. (04/18/2016) Came nicely packed brand new. I first want to start off and say, the people who reviewed this and said the iPad Pro is not good for this is a lie! I have the Pro(look at pics) and I can put in any position and she he screen or push the home button without it leaning back or sliding or tilting to one side. I can even tilt with one hand without holding the base because of the sticky part at the bottom. The pic on Amazon makes this thing look larger than what it really is. But it looks great! I recommend with 5 stars!

It's the stickiest!

I didn't notice it was sticky on the base until I got it; there's a little plastic film covering the sticky bit so I would recommend not taking that off until you're sure that you put it where you want it. The base works fine, and was much smaller than I had thought it was going to be; this is a good thing -- I was dreading that it was going to look like a shrine to my iPad when it wasn't in the dock =D... once you're sure you have it where you want it, rip the film off and stick it down, and you'll need vice grips and a hand grenade to get the thing off again

Sturdy Stand that Handles iPad 12.9 Otter Box

I've only had the stand for a week, however, it is sturdy in both the Landscape and Portrait position. I also have the major otter box which adds a few inches. The stand holds my iPad securely in both positions, and I can write on the screen and because of the sticky bottom it doesn't move. Once yo've set the stand into the position it does not move, however the product would be better served if there was sometime of locking position. I can only assume over time the position arm losing up, however, currently it is tight and has no issues. It is a solid construction like most apple 3rd party products and I would recommend it as a good purchase.

Product Easily made Great and Great Customer Support

Works good with my iPad but the sticky base is better if you do not want to move it. If mobility is important then you will need to do what they recommend which is leave the plastic film on the base. The problem with this is the plastic film is very slick and your iPad then has a tendency to slide around. Would be nice if plastic where rough on the side that does not adhere to the sticky part of the base (ie the side that sits on the surface of your table). This rough surface would then provide much needed friction to prevent the base from sliding all around. 10 Feb 2018 changed my review from 3 stars to 5 stars based upon the following: 1) Was contacted by OMOTON who were concerned enough about my dissatisfaction with the product to offer me a partial refund. Customer satisfaction appears to be very important to this company which I feel is extremely important for us as customers. 2) They have a very good product with with this tablet stand but the design drawback was something that I felt obligated to point out to potential customers. 3) The design drawback can be easily fixed with a piece of syrofoam that can be cut out of some discarded packing material from many electronic products (see attached photo). The plastic film can be removed from the base of the stand exposing the sticky surface and the syrofoam attached to the sticky surface (instead of attaching the sticky surface to your desktop where it becomes simi-permanent). In this manner the syrofoam provides the much needed additional friction that the plastic film does not provide and keeps the stand from sliding all around. In addition, the syrofoam does not stick all that well to the sticky surface and therefore can be easily removed and the plastic film reatached if one would want to. 4) I relayed my comments to OMOTON and they are considering adding a small piece of syrofoam to there future shipments of this stand. In my mind this is the sign of a responsive customer support company. Ont that I am wiling to support in the future. P.S. I refused to accept OMOTON's offer for a partial refund and have changed my rating based upon the ease of fixing the problem and the responsiveness of the company as to my satisfaction.

Perfect in every detail.

This is a great iPad stand and holder. I have tried so many and this one is by far my favorite and the best yet. It isn't a big stand by any means and yet it is mighty in performance. I really like how easy it is to adjust at any angle easily without having to screw any knobs but instead it stays at any angle securely just by tilting it up or down. It also has a very nice bottom that actually sticks to the table surface and doesn't move. The quality is excellent and the price is worth every penny. This mighty little stand is good for any size tablet and yes even the iPad pro size. I am currently typing easily while tipping it upward at a really nice angle and I love that it can charge the pad easily in the stand. I plan to use my blu tooth keyboard with my pad and it will sit nicely under the iPad when not in use for a very nice and neat look. This also will be great to use when watching videos or when using the iPad as my cookbook. It was very well thought out and I am glad that Amazon carried it. I love Amazon for having so many choices and making it easy to find just what I'm looking for. This stand would make a perfect gift since just about everyone has a pad of some kind now and would always have a use for it.

Superb duel use tablet stand.

I wasn't sure about this purchase, but I'm happy I made it. I own a $75 Twelve South laptop stand for my MacBook Pro. I've learned cost usually dictates quality. But in this case I was proven wrong. This little stand is great! It works like a charm for my 9.7" iPad Pro and my Huawei MediaPad. If you have a keyboard associated with your tablet you can flip it around and use it like a "tablet stand". The stand is rigid enough so when I turn it backwards and use my keyboard there is no movement. I buy "Laptop Stands" and "Tablet Stands" for my posture. Instead of crouching over to type on my iPad now I am forced to sit up straight! Unbeatable value!

There are iPad Pro Stands and then their is the best and OMOTON hits it perfectly!

OMOTON has really come forward with a truly perfect stand from the smallest iPads to the iPad Pro which is what I am using it for. The design is well thought out and it shows. Made of quality materials, it even feels good in your hands. The 2 lips which the iPad sits on are sized perfectly not to overlap covering your screen. What I really love most is how this beautiful piece of artwork uses the weight of the iPad to balance everything out and the fact that there is only 1 flat leg. Most stands have 3 or 4 and it can become difficult to find the room for the stand. With the iPad Pro Stand I can even store things right under it such as an Apple watch and Apple Pencil. If you have the Apple Smart Cover, the stand has room to accommodate it. At my time of writing this review, this truly is the best iPad Pro stand on the market today with a price point that does not hurt your wallet. Highly recommended for anyone who has invested in the iPad Pro.
