This is a little pricey, but those $2 & $3 tire gauges were getting just as expensive. The Jaco Gauge gives you a good reading the first time, and holds the reading until you release it. If you're like me, age affects your eyesight so the most wonderful thing about the Jaco Gauge is that you can get the reading and move the gauge into a better lit area and read it then. I love the bleeder valve, so that you can over inflate by a pound or two and leaving the gauge attached to the tire you can get easily release a little pressure, as much or as little as you like and get it to where you want it. Those cheap gauges give you a different reading every time, with that stick poking out the end. As us plain people that do a little maintenance on our cars we have no idea the accuracy of any gauge. The quality of the Jaco gauge gives you re-assurance because it feels like quality. With cars now having the low are pressure light, or the nag light, I couldn't get it to go out with a cheap gauge. After fine tuning the pressure with my Jaco, the light went off and I'm a happy camper. Like I said starting out, it is a little pricey, but with tires affecting gas mileage and safety it makes it worth it, checking your air pressure in half the time and feeling good about your self after doing a job that could save you money and lifes.

An absolute must for any tool box or garage. I've used dozens of tire gauges as I practically live in my garage. I work on boats, quads, cars or ride bikes with my family and constantly use tire gauges to check air pressure. The problem I run into with other cheap gauges is they are either unreliable or you are constantly rechecking due to getting different readings. I was tired of losing my mind checking and rechecking while getting different readings. I needed something fast, reliable and most importantly I needed something accurate. The jaco pressure gauge is everything you'll ever need packed into one tool. You can check pressure accurately and get the same reading over and over. You can also bleed the excess air till you get the pressure you need. I also love the fact that it's on a long flexible head which is great for maneuverability on a bike, bead lock quad rim or a 49 inch tall monster truck tire with steel valve stems. Sometimes those stick air pressure gauges just don't work for the tight spaces you need them to. The jaco pressure gauge is also glow in the dark so you need not worry about being left in the dark trying to take an accurate reading. I love my jaco pressure gauge and look forward to adding the other lines to my tool box. A+ in my book. Buy it.

I have given my main faithful tire pressure gauge used for years to a grand daughter. One of several things I included when I gave her a Toyota Camry recently, her 1st car. Since then, the bug got me again and I have bought 5 more gauges to add to several already on hand & this JACO is one of them. I have several collected gauges and this gauge is good quality, better than the price suggest. Size, quality and construction is very nice all around. Dial size, needle & scaling to back plate contrast makes it easy to obtain readings. Glow faceplate is a nice feature . Nice it holds a reading and has the bleeder. Swivel ends assist in awkward valve stems - my Harley front tire is an awkward to get at valve stem. Has good easy to seal chuck - hate those that bleed when trying to obtain a reading, a big plus to me. I have culled out several gauges to have what I now have (digital & analog dial) and this gauge reads accurate. Like thermometers, if I have 15 and 13 read the same, the 2 that don't get tossed. Then I work off those when adding more. I like this gauge a lot. Feels good in the hand, good sealing chuck, easy to read, good quality and good price. Its habit I check pressures on the vehicle nearly weekly in case one starts to drop or temperature outside swings a good bit. Although one vehicle reads the psi for each tire, I still take a gauge and check myself. Spares checked every few months. Mentioned my Harley has a difficult to get to and obtain a reading on the front without bleeding air and this JACO does just fine. The scaling and subdivisions readings makes it easy to obtain the psi reading accurately. My use is 30s and 40s psi range and a 0-60psi gauge will give me easier readings/resolution than something that reads to 100 or more psi. For the price point I am impressed with the quality and accuracy this gauge provides. The seller will email/contact buyers and want to be sure the customer is completely satisfied in every way. Ordered and received it super fast.

I have the Jaco and the Joes Racing pressure gauges both with the dial reading and both 0-60 psi. Both delivered the same reading of 33 psi on a random tire test so you can't go wrong with either as far as accuracy is concerned. The Joes hose and fitting length is roughly 19" where the Jaco is 15". The dial on the Jaco is slightly smaller, but both are easy to read. Both appear to be well made reliable gauges. The Jaco has 3 distinct advantages in my opinion. It's about $6 less money, it has swivel fittings on both the dial end and the chuck end of the hose, and it will hold the pressure reading until you release it by pressing the air release button. If I purchased another at this point I would buy another Jaco if for nothing else the fact that you can swivel both the chuck and the gauge independently.

The tire gauge arrived early, on Saturday, and Wisconsin smiled on us Sunday with a relative heat wave of 45 degrees (instead of a more seasonal 10*), so I did indeed give the new gauge a try. My method is to purposefully overinflate a cold tire by a few pounds, and then bleed off pressure till I arrive at the recommended PSI for my tire and vehicle. I checked all four tires on our new Chevy Impala, and the gauge worked perfectly. This is far and away the nicest tire gauge that I have owned, and among the best that I have used personally. I found the white on black dial extremely easy to read in the indirect lighting of our garage. In putting the instrument away, I finally noticed the luminous dial—nice touch! This handy feature is understated on Amazon. A quick blast from one of our crazy-bright flashlights and the dial will glow long enough to see to all four tires in the dark—well done! I like the little things, those little extra touches; that little bit extra that’s worth all the rest! So go ahead, surprise me! The build quality and fitment of all components seems first-rate, so I’m hoping this new JACO ElitePro Tire Pressure Gauge will prove robust enough to last me a lifetime. Should that prove untrue, I’ll update this review accordingly. To their credit, the OEM/Vendor promptly contacted me by email to see that I was completely satisfied with my purchase. Their communiqué contained an invitation from the company’s founder to contact him personally with any questions or problems, as well as a PDF attachment to further explain the product. There’s even a video link to help any newbie to use and better understand the product. Impressive. The only thing missing is a decent-quality carrying case, as none was provided. Still, to meet this retail price-point, I can understand why a case was not included. I ended up reinforcing the box with shipping tape, and stored the gauge in its original packaging; this will prove adequate for as often as I’ll use the thing. I added the gauge to my emergency road kit, which is Velcro’d into place inside the Impala’s cavernous trunk. To summarize, based on what I know, and at this retail price point, I’m giving this tire gauge a full five stars, and yes, I would recommend it! RayB

I finally grew tired of the inaccuracies of cheap analog/pencil pressure gauges and the hassle of batteries for digital gauges so I decided to order two of the JACO Elite Pro gauges (0-60 PSI and 0-100 PSI). One for my wife's car and one for my truck/trailers. I had two fairly accurate digital gauges that read within 2 PSI of each other. One failed a couple of days before I ordered the JACO gauges because of battery corrosion. The other digital gauge, with non replaceable batteries, was also dead. The JACO gauges arrived in about six days (free shipping.) Gauges are well built and very legible. The chuck fits the tire valves well and I did not experience any of air loss common with cheap gauges. These gauges actually swivel at both ends of the rubber hose. No problems using them regardless of the tire valve position. The 100% lifetime warranty is a bonus. As soon as I received the gauges, I decided to see how accurate the readings were. I keep my wife's van tires inflated to 36 PSI using one of my digital gauges that failed,.) I checked the pressure in one of the tires and both of the JACO gauges read 35 PSI...exactly. See attached photo. No more inaccuracies or variations between gauges. I collected all the assorted tire pressure gauges I found in the vehicles/garage and trashed them.

If ever a company deserved to have a book written about their superb customer service, it would be JACO. In a word, it's phenomenal. I purchase virtually everything I own on Amazon, or other online sites. I've been doing so on Amazon since 1996, and elsewhere for at least the past 15 years. I can honestly say that JACO Superior Products is the best company that I've EVER dealt with. For me to make a statement like that, means a lot, a whole lot. Having received my initial JACO ElitePro Tire Gauge, I was extremely eager to try it out. After using it on just one tire, it failed to retain the PSI reading after removing it from the tire valve. Naturally, I was upset. I wrote a review, expressing my displeasure at the fact that the gauge failed to work after just one use. Shortly afterwards, I was contacted by Nolan Jacoby, the founder and CEO of the company. He expressed his sincere apologies, and offered to replace the gauge with a new one. Although I was grateful, I told him that since I had already replaced it with another one from a different company, I would be giving the replacement away. Having said that to Mr. Jacoby, I never expected to hear from him again. To my surprise, I heard back, with the words "No problem. We appreciate you giving us a try! Regards, Nolan Jacoby." I was simply blown away that the CEO of a company would take the time to send me a note of appreciation, even though I was going to give the replacement product away. Today, just 2 days after being told that a replacement was on its way, I received it in the mail. Since Mr. Jacoby had been so nice to me, I figured that the least I could do was to try out the new gauge, rather than giving it away. To my delight, the replacement gauge works perfectly. Unlike the first one, it retains the PSI after removing it from the tires. As a matter of fact, it retains the PSI indefinitely, until I press the bleed valve button. In all other respects, it's a truly fantastic product. I'm keeping it, and returning the other one that I bought. You can read all of the other positive reviews about this tire gauge. I could go on and on saying how good it is, and it truly is the best one that I've ever owned. But in the end, as good as the tire gauge is, at least the second time around, it's not the gauge that matters here. It's the manner in which this company is run. This is a company that does everything right; they truly care about the customer. Other companies should take notice. When you show honest concern for your customers, than you're doing what it takes to earn their trust. The way I was treated by JACO speaks volumes about this company. They obviously work very hard for their success, and they deserve your business. The bottom line is that this is a great tire gauge. Even greater, however, is the fact that this company cares about their customers, and does whatever it takes to make them 100% happy. JACO Superior Products is a company that I would classify as the best of the best. They are a class act. Tire Gauge ~ 5+ stars JACO Superior Products ~ 5+ stars

The last (not JACO) gauge I had lasted for almost 20 years - it looks antique now... I can tell this gauge is made incredibly well, and it turns out that my old gauge was reading about 5 PSI low - whoops. I love the swiveling character of the hose and the nozzle. I'm guessing this will last longer than my last one. That means I'll be sixty... nevermind. SOOO, the product is great, but I have to add that the customer service is beyond incredible. I've been happy with sellers for the most part, but this company goes way above and beyond. I received at least two emails from the seller after ordering, providing me with contact information for questions or concerns and a PDF product manual. Didn't need the manual, but I enjoyed going through it. Seriously great customer service. I will absolutely seek out JACO for parts / supplies in the future.

If you have any recent model vehicle you need this gauge. All the cars now have a tire pressure monitoring system. Your tire pressures WILL change, if only from the seasons changing. Before these new cars you could go to a gas station and put air in your tires with their hose saying 32psi, or whatever, and you would be happy. Now the dashboard will be blinking at you because it isn't happy with the air you put in from that gas station hose. It will be unhappy that the pressure is too high or too low. All those different gas station gauges or your inconsistent cheapy gauge doesn't match what your car's system says. Perhaps your car is wrong in what it says your pressure is. Doesn't matter. You have to make it happy. Having an easy to read and consistent gauge you can make your car's system happy easily. My old gauge was reading about 3 pounds low. I didn't know this and I went to the trouble of carefully raising the pressure to exactly what the car wanted. Then you drive around for a couple days and the car is still not happy. You do this a number of times till you guess right. Had you one of these accurate, easy to use gauges and you would have got it right the first or second at worst time. And next time you will know the first time. Pays for itself by saving you time and frustration. I don't know these guys from a load of coal but they make a nice unit and I like a good tool that saves me time and trouble.

Well executed. A seemingly nice family business doing their best to service clients. And comparing this gauge to multiple other high end gauges, it is amazingly on par with gauges costing multiples of what this has been priced at. Perfect size for glove compartment box in vehicles, yet not limited to this single application. The range it measures extends its usefulness above and beyond a simple tire pressure check. Personally, I would give a thumbs up to JACO when referring the need for a pressure gauge to those close around me in search of some real world results -- and not just words or descriptions to be used in decision making. (C;mon -- who likes to buy a product, packaged up to read it will deliver accurate and precise wonderful tolerances and repeatable results without having tried first? Not I..) Yet I took the plunge for the benefit of those on the fence. And I'm a picky (yet fair, with all due respect) consumer. 'nuff said! :)
