So easy, our 11 year old did it!

My 11 year old put this together almost completely on his own (adult tightened the locking mechanisms) in about 15 minutes. The bed frame is super sturdy and has smooth edges that do not damage the box spring (or toes that get in the way accidentally!). Would definitely buy this again.

Easy peasy assembly

Easily assembled even by a single person as long as you know how to follow directions. It has accompanying pictures that were helpful in illustrating what the next step should look like. Remember to unscrew the middle screws and pull the bars apart to its maximum length. If you skip this step, you'll end up with a base that's 1-2" shorter than what you'll need for a queen bed. It came in a compact package which made it easy to haul into the bedroom. It's sturdy, had all its parts for assembly, and works just as it should. Along with having it delivered to your doorstep, It's unbeatable for its price!

Can't beat it for the money.

I was a little concerned with where the legs would end up with it being adjustable and the middle legs not being centered, but it worked out for my twin boxspring/mattress. You can see in the picture how I staggered them to get the weight better distributed and the twin boxspring fits perfectly. As for the legs, the way they are installed it seems the only way they can bend is if the bolts aren't installed, installed loosely or somehow pulled out. Coming from a guy who loosens/tightens bolts all day (auto mechanic) if you tighten the bolts down until they just start to crush down on the metal it can act like a spring washer keeping the bolts tight. As for comfort I noticed a big difference from my old frame that only covered the perimeter. Even with a brand new mattress and box spring it would still bow in the middle, with the new frame it's nice and flat. Long story short you can't beat it for the money and if I decide on a queen later I won't have to buy a new frame.

Easy, Good and affordable.

I was scared when I started putting everything together cause I thought it was going to be too smal but after I finished it was perfect for my queen bed, very easy to assemble.

Top product and top company!

Best bed frame I have ever used. The fact that Zinus cares so much about your happiness speaks volumes. The shipping box was much smaller than expected due to the compact design. They even include a ratcheting hex tool to help during assembly, as well as a standard Allen wrench. The frame is super solid once assembled, and 9 legs are a major plus. Was very easy to put together by one person. Once completed the queen bed fit like a glove in the frame with no further adjustments than the default setting. They also included 8 non-slip pads to keep the box spring in place. I am very impressed and will buy any products that Zinus makes that I need!

Inexpensive and High Quality

I noticed that my old bed frame was beginning to twist on the sides from the load of my 175 lb weight and as it was only a perimeter frame. After reading the reviews I grabbed this one. I am very glad I did. It was packed in a compact box but was heavy suggesting it would be up to the task. Assembly was a little confusing but not too bad. If you are handy and have a few spare 5mm tools (I like a socket head and ratchet) it will go together that much faster. The assembly is easier with two people. NOTE: I could see that the feet were just pegs and not wanting them to dig into our newer carpet I bought some 2x2 square furniture stands from Amazon as well, which work great. Overall this is a very sturdy frame at what I think is a very reasonable price.

The Best!

My dad was a nomad, and I too travel the world over a long military career, so I have handled and seen a fair number of bed frames in my time as I packed and unpacked all over the planet. Ninety-nine percent of bed frames are absolutely generic and run of the mill. This bed frame is the exception. I have never seen one so intuitive and logical to assemble, given its plethora of features. It folds out easily, locks into place and is extremely sturdy. I'm kind of nitpicky about these things so when I tell you that this is an excellent product, I mean it. The price of this bed frame is no different really than any other bed frame, but it is the quality that is the difference. Buy it and you will like it.

Not your average bed frame!

So I know it is just a bed frame, an item I've purchased and assembled at least 10 other times, but I have to say that for the money I paid, this bed frame blew past my expectations. First, the quality of the bed frame and assembly is very high. Leaps and bounds over all other metal bed frames I've assembled. Second, the thought put into this frame from the design to the very clear instructions, to the magnetic anti-slip pads that came with this frame had me wondering how much I had actually paid and to my surprise, this was no more then other far less quality frames. Great job Zinus and thank you.

So so easy to put together

So so easy to put together. Crazy easy even with one person (getting the mattress on was way harder!). I almost didn't believe my queen would fit on here, but it does absolutely PERFECTLY. It is so sturdy, and there's enough room to store things underneath my bed. Love this product. Amazing for the price. Tip: put a fitted sheet over your box spring before you put the mattress over. Its a way easier way to hide the box spring and it looks so tidy if you choose a color that complements your other bedding!

Simple and sturdy.

Great frame. Easy to put together and all the correct parts were included. I thought it was a little low to the ground, but after putting the box spring and pillow-top mattress on, I was happy the frame wasn't any higher. I have wood floors so I'm glad the legs have rubber padding.
