Incredibly delicious!!

I am amazed!!! I have always enjoyed my Vahdam teas I have had, they have all been of the highest quality. The oolongs I have tried from others have not been my favorites, as I found them less than full flavored and rather insipid in taste. I like a hearty black tea, and many oolongs don’t measure up. Not because they are intrinsically “bad”, but the very nature of oolong is less strong than fully fermented black teas. This though. THIS!! Oh sweet Lord, this is the tastiest, most fully flavored and delicious tea I have had in a very long time, including my strong favorites Scottish Breakfast and Assam. The taste is amazing, I am hooked! It seemed pricy at first, but it was on a Lightning deal so I figured I would give it a try. Hells bells! So glad I did!! It is so good my cheap ass will be buying it again - full price even

Incredible flavor

I just received my package yesterday, and was so excited to try it. The packaging seems high quality, and the moment I opened it I could smell how lovely this oolong was. Definitely follow the instructions, otherwise it will be slightly bitter but it is an excellent flavor. I don’t think I’ll be able to go back to other brands after drinking this!

Healthy Tea inBridgton Maine

I make this by the pot using leaf tea. it is true that you get several steepings. I use 1/2 to 1 tsp of leaves per two cups of boiling water. My pot goes into a cozy for a few minutes. I find it stays hot through my drinking time. I have served this to family and neighbors who also enjoy the flavor. I will certainly buy this again. It was delivered in two days with Prime and the compressed block of tea filled the enclosed bag when I loosened it. Good value for the money.. Enjoying it daily in Bridgtpn

Delicious and refreshing

I have drunk heaps of tea in my time. I just love everything I have bought from Vadham teas. This oolong is fantastic. I like to put in a couple chrysanthemum blossoms, a pinch of osmanthus blossoms, or a couple goji berries. It is just fantastic in summer as well as winter. And there is a lot of winter where I live! I have some of this every day and it still lasts a good amount of time. I have subscribed to this, and I really hope they keep it on subscription! Great, refreshing tea!

I've become a tea drinker!

i have been a coffee drinker all my life. I had heard about the anti-inflammatory properties of Oolong tea and decided to try it. I bought a box of tea bags at the store (a different brand) and liked it. So I decided to try the leaves, as they are fresh. I bought a tea ball and drank the tea. Not only do I find it soothing, but, it does help with the inflammation. I think I have become a tea totaler, what do you know?! Highly recommend.

Delicious Loose Leaf Tea

This tea is delicious. Each order comes with a fresh resealable bag to put the tea in after you open the vacuum sealed bag it ships in, along with a sticker with instructions on how much tea to use, what temperature water, and how long to steep it for to get the best flavor. This is one of several teas I buy from this seller, and I am never disappointed.

Delicious, approachable, silky, and slightly fruity...

Fantastic quality tea. It’s unlike other oolongs in a way that’s hard to pin down— steeps up a dark orangey liquor with notes of stone fruit/apricot, a silky and thick mouthfeel, and a very mildly astringent finish. Very different from a Chinese/Taiwanese oolong but so, so pleasant. I work at a tea shop and brought some in for the crew to try. Everyone loved it and couldn’t believe I bought it online. Will definitely be purchasing this and many other teas from here! Even if you’re not a “tea person”, try it, you’ll love it!

Amazing Tea!

I'm a tea aficionado. I have traveled through China, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore and experienced different teas there. I brought home $100 of tea from Taiwan and had been working on that for a few years, and I finally ran out. So, it was time to order more tea. Rather than travel abroad, I decided to just buy more tea on Amazon. I've always known India had great tea, and I was curious to hear that an Indian company was offering Oolong tea grown at high altitude in India. There were surprisingly few loose leaf tea options from China and Taiwan on Amazon.com, so I decided to give Vahdam Teas a shot. Plus, I was curious how Oolong from the Indian climate would taste. The taste is hard to describe, but it's a beautiful blend of that nutty character you would expect from an Asian Oolong, with an Indian darjeeling twist. It's just such a unique taste --who would have imagined you could get Oolong from India! The packaging and quality are top notch. The package even includes detailed instructions on how to get the perfect brew (e.g. let steep for 5 minutes in 90-100C water). And the tea strength is great for this Oolong. I get 3-4 brews out of one teaspoon --I just leave it in my teacup and keep re-brewing it through the day. This tea company means business. Great product.

Great taste and product

Not only received the tea, but a ziplock bag to put in once opened to keep fresh, a real great company, it's a quality tea for an excellent price. Bought some from a tea ship a while back, so wanted some more. Great Oolong tea and by the packaging, quality is what I got.

An excellent tea. Hot or Cold

First may I say, I have not tried a Vahdam tea that I did not like. This was my first oolong tea and I am happy with my purchase. It has delicate sweet notes and a very mild malt taste and smell. I prefer to drink this as a sweet ice tea but I also drink it hot depending on my mood. This is truly a smooth and delicious tea. In fact this may be my second favorite tea after the Vahdam Ginger Chai. As far as the detox and anti inflammatory claims I honestly don't know. That was not the reason why I bought this product but there are may articles on the Web stating the health benefits of Oolong teas. If it's on the Internet it has to be fact. Right?
