On The Mend

I am someone who wears his clothing until they near fall off me! So needless to say do I always have garments which acquire some mending which has become worn and torn do to normal wear and tear as well as falling victim to the not so gentle wash cycles from our washing machine and dryer. The entire sewing kit is comprised of all fine quality items including a generous amount of different coloured threads and various sized sewing needles. Everything of which one might expect from a complete sewing kit is packed neatly within a good quality zippered sewing case. Now I have finally been able to mend my clothing which had now extended their wear cycle while once more looking as if recently purchased! And imagine all this and reasonably priced too! You won't be disappointed.

Sewing Kit with All the Items You Need!

Very pleased with the sewing kit! Received more thread spools than I expected. Large assortment of colors. The addition of a crochet hook was a nice touch, besides crocheting, they're great for pulling yarn that's snagged on an sweater, plus you can't go wrong with an extra one. Nice assortment of pins, as well. Kit is small, but contains all the necessary items.

Spiffy little set has everything.

I really like the neat way everything fits in the little kit, the tidy zipper pouch, and my favorite thing is the wheel of dressmaker pins. They are so easy to pick out of the wheel, and put back. I thought the seam ripper was a knit picker, that might be a nice addition too. Nice big needle threader seems pretty sturdy. Also I loved getting the extra black and white spools, I am always running out of black and white thread.

A kit that actually comes with good scissors!

I got different scissors at the same time as I bought this because the scissors in kits usually suck, but these are actually good scissors in here! My only gripe is that the zipper bent near the end of the closure so it no longer zips up all the way, but it's close to the end so it's not a huge deal. A metal zipper would be better than the plastic one. I love the assortment of tools in here, I use it constantly.

Comes with lots of tools

This is a really nice kit...especially bc I have no needles and thread! I'm not a great person to ask to sew but this kit is a must for those little things that need to be fixed. It has all these little tools to make your like easier. For example that tool that helps thread the thread into that tiny needle hole (why is that hole so small). There are even cute little scissor. I especially like that it came in a case that's not huge. I could easily pack it in my backpack.

... a 25 year old male (birthday was yesterday so happy birthday to me)

I’m a 25 year old male (birthday was yesterday so happy birthday to me), and am fortunate enough to have been given awesome gifts from my family over the years. Problem however, holes would appear in things I loved. This sewing kit was everything I expected and more. I’m not the best at sowing, but it certainly added year to some of my nice apparel that I’m fortunate to wear again. If you’re not great as sowing, this kit worked great for small holes is shirts/sweatshirts and Sowing bottons.

Great kit for Home or on the Go

I bought two of the kits, one for the home and one for work where I keep it handy for anything that might happen. It is easy to carry in a back pack and it even came with extra thread bobbins too. A great part of that is you will likely not run out of thread any time soon.

I really needed this kit!

I have needed a sewing kit for years. All my needles were gone. My thread was down to just brown and white. I was so surprised by this kit. It had everything I will need. I don't sew usually but when I need to make repairs I need just what is in here. So colorful and handy. The case is perfect and the threads are beautiful!

Good for an inexpensive sewing kit.

It was very inexpensive and has all that I need for little repairs, hemming too-long pants, sewing on buttons and the like. I am NOT a proper seamstress or tailor, just someone who once in a while needs to pop a replacement button on a shirt, so take it with a grain of salt, but I've used this several times and am happy I got it.

This kit is handy, comesin a zipper case and includes stuff I didnt know I needed. (like a seam-ripper).

Handy sewing kit! The hooks on my my wife’s favorite brassiere had a good run but were broken, bent, and in need of replacing. She does’nt sew, but I’m the handyman type I guess so she asked me to see if there was anything I could do. After examining the broken and bent hooks and figring out what was needed, I ordered this sewing kit and some replacement hooks. I kinda had to figure it out as I went along because prior to this, the most I’ve ever sewn were buttons. This kit had everything I needed to open the seams so I could extract the worn hooks and sew in new hooks. Her favorite brassiere is now in perfect working order, and maybe I earned some brownie points, I dunno. But I really like taking on challenges and fixing stuff and most importantly I love my wife and derived a genuine sense of joy from saving her prized undergarment. Good purchase.
