Has great possibilities

This Pyle amplifier has about everything a person could need but the input jacks are obviously not up to par. I returned the first unit as the 1/4 inch input jacks failed. I purchased another unit and the first use pointed out poor contacts on the 1/4 inch input jacks. I'm sure to have another failure. Pyle should upgrade these jacks and should authorize current owners to have them replaced at Pyle's expense.

This PA speaker is just the right size and has just the right amount of loudness for a household party. The speaker is portable, has wheels and a handle which I feel is very handy for moving around. You can plug the speaker in a wall outlet or it can be used off its built in battery for some hours. The battery is chargable but I still need to figure out how to charge ite. It comes with a wireless microphone which is pretty decent. It also has extra outlets to add a wired microphone. The speaker is also bluetooth capable. I used the speaker for karaoke at a house party and everyone loved it, couldn't keep people away from it, they loved it!!! Overall I am very happy with this product!!

Great Portable PA w/Wireless Microphone! Highly Recommended

The Pyle "Battery Powered PA System With Wireless Microphone" is surprisingly well made and has features I would have expected on much more expensive equipment. We run workshops, often at our customer's locations, and needed a portable PA system that could easily be transported and doesn't require a lot of power. Here are my observations: + Long Battery Life - Worked for over 4 hours straight, but can be connected to AC to work as well + Wireless Microphone - Built into the system, has good range, and acceptable sound. Battery included. + Inputs for 2 Microphones, 1 Guitar, and 1 Audio Connection - Each with it's own volume control + Portable - Built in retractable handles and wheels makes moving this around very easy + Includes a mini-Plug to 1/4" Converter - A handy accessory + Includes Echo Effect - A fun adjustable effect to liven up your voice (my kids loved playing with this :-) Note: My unit shipped with one of the fuses in a bag and it needed to be installed before the system would work. This unit worked much better than expected and is a great value for the performance of this small sized unit! Highly Recommended!

The Pyle PWMA230BT is awesome!

This item is exactly as advertised. Even better than I expected to get. This is my 2nd Pyle device the 1st one is a BT portable speaker. Great sound and easy to transport. It makes my Ukulele sound like a million dollar instrument.

Wonderful!

This amplifier is Fabulous! It has made it through trips well (packed securely, of course) and the sound is good. The price is very good, and, personally, I think that it's worth more than it's priced for. The microphone is not the best, but works okay, in case you only need one and don't want a SUPER high quality one. The echo is fun to play around with, and this is the best amplifier! Also, you can get insurance where they will replace or fix it for you if something goes wrong, and I think they even cover shipping costs. Awesome amplifier!

Money well spent!

Serves it's purpose well. Very loud, my neighbor a football field away can hear me well. Great for karaoke! We set a tablet up on YouTube and karaoked for hours with the wireless Mic and a plug in mic. The wireless Mic worked great! Perfect for outdoor parties. Definitely a great buy! The aux cord that came with it seems to be glitchy and we have to fidget with it between each song to get the music to play or play at the right volume. But that is the only thing I We had a problem with. Aux cords are fairly cheap though so no biggie. I only wish we could use Bluetooth from the phone and the wireless Mic simultaneously. A friend will be getting one for her daughter to karaoke for her birthday that's how much she loved it.

For The Price It Packs A Punch

I ordered this for an engagement party event. I was skeptical because of the price, but with the Pyle brand name I gave it a shot. This PA is an incredible value! - The vocals for announcements is fabulous for a group up to, say, 100 people. The wireless mic worked flawlessly from 25 feet which is about as far away as I got. - When hooked up for music in an open space, it more than performs with good bass and treble - not great, but good. - Ease of use is very good. I hooked it up for music and announcements within 10 minutes - first time! - Haven't tried the battery life yet, but will soon and report back. - Will try this also with my son's bass player to see if it performs well. Overall an incredible value from a known brand.

Awesome product

I've been looking for something like this for a few years. Everything I found was too big, too expensive or too narrow in capability. I'm thrilled with this product and temped to buy a back up just incase something happens to mine and the company reconfigures it or the no longer make it. The sound quality is in a league 5 times the price and the range of what it will do is unparalleled for anything that I've seen. I've used it for everything from playing in nursing homes to doing a fashion show complete with a music track. The battery life means no cords for a performance. It is versatile, mobile and worth every penny.

The right one!

I love this system. After agonizing a little over *which* mic system to get just for small gatherings and karaoke, I settled on this one and I couldn't be happier. IMO, this system is an incredible value for the money. Pros: - The sound quality is surprisingly good for this price. - The microphone has great range with decent clarity and minimal noise. - Multiple mixable inputs. - Echo and bass/treble actually have a significant (and good) effect on sound. - LOUD for a home system. - Easily moved/stored. - American made, onshore support! Cons: - None so far. If warranted in the future, I'll update this review accordingly. Worth mentioning is that I'm using this system as a guitar amp (paired with a VOX unit) with an XLR mic run into the physical Voice input simultaneously and it sounds great!

Grandpa likes it!

I bought this for my FIL to use at a graduation party. He has been playing out with a guitar and backing tracks forever. He played with it a little before the party, got everything right away. Worked great for his set. We also bluetoothed music from an iPad, very easy to connect. I have been using it as a clean acoustic guitar amp since, it has a great sound.
