Bye-bye fleas.
I will be honest: I have little experience purchasing and using boric acid. My husband's company decided it was a good idea for us to move to California a few months back and, well, California is in the midst of a horrible, horrible drought. Apparently, the conditions in California make fleas a year-round pest, but, because of this horrible drought, they're a gazillion times worse. We Midwesterners don't think about treating our pets with flea stuff on a monthly basis because we don't know fleas as a thing that actually happens. But, lo and behold, fleas happen. I had read online that boric acid tends to help to kill fleas in rugs/carpets and on upholstered furniture, which is how I ended up with my first ever purchase of boric acid. I live in a house with wood floors and a bunch of area rugs that cover them, so I shook the boric acid around on the carpets, swept it in with a broom to work it through the fibers, left it overnight, and then vacuumed it up. I've heard that one can also make a liquid-substance with it to put on solid surfaces, but I didn't try that this time around. I think that the combination of boric acid treatments plus flea treatments on the animals plus washing all of our clothes and bedding in super hot water has done the trick and wiped out at least most of our flea population. We'll see as the weeks pass if we get any more eggs that hatch and try to re-infest our house, but technically the boric acid is supposed to do a pretty good number on them. I'll keep you posted. You should figure that if you don't see any updates on this ever that it worked out and everyone is happy and flea-free!

So far so good
I just started using it. I just moved into this new place and I knew they had bugs I couldn’t see I wanted something stronger than what they sold in stores so first time ordering this. I see some small bugs dead but the medium sized ones are still lingering but that’s because I’m only able to put the acid behind the fridge and stove.. I used a fogged and ortho home defense which is not allowing them to get out. So hopefully if there’s any left they find the boric acid.

Roach Killer
I recommended this 99% Pure Boric Acid to a client to mix with egg yellows and sugar to attract and kill roaches. I even helped make the mix and he put it in the problem areas in his house. Yesterday, he said all the roaches are gone and it was a huge relief since they've been hard to get rid of. I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone who has a roach issue. Go on YouTube and search for how to mix this stuff and there's a very funny man who tells you all about it. IT WORKS!

Five Stars
Works beautifully in my foot soak and actually softens feet as well as fights or kills any infections.

Boric acid will kill mold on soft surfaces; bleach will not; the mold may seem to disappear with bleach treatment but it returns
Common household bleach does not kill mold if the mold is on soft materials such as sheet rock or wood; I am using a solution of boric acid, hydrogen peroxide , water and one part distilled white vinegar; this solution does kill the mold.

Many uses
I bought this after doing some research on how to get rid of cockroaches. We have a little bit of a problem with the little ones no matter how much we clean and don't leave food out or anything like that. I read that this is a good alternative to chemical sprays. I found small, shallow containers and put the boric acid in the containers and put those containers where I have seen the bugs and it seems to be working as there is definitely less living bugs. The boric acid is supposed to cling to their bodies as they walk through the powder and then when they clean themselves the boric acid gets in their stomach and poisons them. I don't see much movement anymore so I think it is working nicely.

Great for ant control!
I bought this item to make my own ant killer for my office, which becomes overrun by ants every summer. They come out of nowhere and invade every corner. The pest control company assigned to my place of employment comes weekly and their sprays and baits weren't helping. I mixed this in a jar with powdered confectioners sugar and set it up in small container lids around the office. Within a week they were almost gone, with a few stragglers here and there. I watched a couple of ants in 2 separate lids enjoying a feast of this combo, with one lying dead in it. I gotta say, it certainly works for this purpose.

Vaginal Health
I used this to make vag suppositories and they worked well. Filled 00 capsules and insert nightly for 14 days. Follow up with a good daily probiotic and problem solved. I highly recommend!

I was quite pleased with the quality of this product
I was quite pleased with the quality of this product. Originally I was concerned with the 99 percent promise, thinking it might be another bait and switch promo, but I was quite pleased with its strength and effects.
