Fine product for a copy of the original.
This exhaust wrap is close to the original type. The original has its weave pattern diagonally across the wrap, while this one is at 90 degrees to the edge. That being said, it worked quite well for what I used it for. Here in southern New Mexico it is very dry and hot. Keeping underhood temperatures down goes a long way to keeping the plastic clips and plugs in our motors viable for a longer period of time. I used this to wrap the stock exhaust of an 04 Camry LE 2.4L. from the beginning of the primaries, wrapping the converter, flange, flexible coupling and stopping to just past the O2 sensor (sensor 2) around the back side of the parking brake handle. After polishing the SS shielding that came stock, I put that on over the whole thing again to protect it from damage mostly. Underhood temps are lower, radiant heat is lower on the oil pan for both the engine and auto-trans, it seems to have given it a bit more power near top end and WOW did it ever make the exhaust quiet from inside the car. I feel like Matthew Mcconaughey in his latest advertisements. I totally suggest this part for anyone in the arid southwest of the United States where we don't have to worry about premature exhaust failure from these types of wraps.

DIY Pipe wrap tips!
Really nice product, 1. SOAK THEM first in water at least an hour and then wrap. 2. WEAR GLOVES! and best to take the pipes off and vise mount them first. 3 .The clamps it comes with work well too, but I would take a drift and punch them to hold them in place. 4. After wrapped, install the pipes CAREFULLY and let it warm up real good. 5. Re-wet the pipes with a spray bottle and then warm them up again. Once you have re-warmed them, they will harden like a cast! All and All, super nice product. TAKE YOUR TIME and get the wrap nice and tight.

no heat
I really love this stuff. It keeps the heat going out the pipes and not burning up your wires. yea its a little messy to work with but just wear gloves and soak it in a bucket of water. also start your wrap from the collector first and work your way up to the heads. thios way the wraps overlay so to wind does not blow against the over lapping material. the stainless steel zip strips are also great for holding it all together. needle nose required.

Works GREAT
Used nearly 75 feet to wrap a 4 cylinder motorcycle exhaust from the primaries back to the muffler. This stuff works surprisingly well! After an agressive 20minute session the wrap was cool enough to touch! 1"away from the wrap was so hot it burned me a little. Wear the gloves when installing, very irritating to the skin. If you don't have a special tool for the clamps you can use a pair of needle nose pliers and pry the clamp tight. Cut the excess in a safe manner and bend the leftover piece back over the clamp. Steel clamps are annoying without the tool but once cut will look better. My personal favorite part and most surprising is that the exhaust is actually a little quieter and deeper sounding.

Works great
I highly recommend this I use it on all headers that I install. Not to mention it's a third the price you'll find at AutoZone or O'Reilly's. I feel like it's actually a better quality. At O'Reilly's this stuff is upwards of $60 per roll. It is a fiberglass wrap would be surprised if it actually has titanium in the material itself, I think that represents the color is all that is. None-the-less the stuff works great. keeps the engine bay cooler than without and therefore making a better intake temperature and of course means a better running engine. Be prepared to get itchy because it does have fiberglass in it. I wear gloves, and it's up to you if you want to dip it in water but you really don't have to. Also, be careful if you do dip in water that you don't snag it because if it starts to unravel it's like a bad sweater it'll continue to unravel.

Great product. Make sure to wear gloves when handling it at all though.
Great product, I love the way they look. The ties worked well for me, but I've seen that other people have had issues with them so maybe have some spare ties or hose clamps if you want to make sure they are tight. I took my pipes of and then wrapped them, so when I put them back on my bike, I sprayed them down and let it run for a while to dry them off and they smoked and stank quite a bit, but that's to be expected. Make sure to wear gloves, this stuff is pretty nasty to get on/in your skin and it definitely will if you aren't careful.

Read The Directions! works great to cut the heat in 1/2
Read The Directions,,YOU HAVE TO BUY THE SPRAY.. If you don't, you'll be like the other retards on here that complain. This is used on a Varroa Mite Vaporizer. Runs at 230 Celsius. 446 degrees F. Hand held !!! Before applying the wrap, you would burn your hand/ Fingers if in contact with main band heater. Now I can brush up against the wrap and no worries about burning myself. You must use the Silicon Spray, It seals the end fibers and keeps it from being a crappy product. Read the Directions.... I'm building ten of these units.

worked great on my ford 6
worked great on my ford 6.0L 3.5 down pipe but you will need longer zip ties than the ones supplied if wrapping anything larger than three inch pipe

PLEASE READ IF YOU HAVE NEVER USED HEAT WRAP BEFORE
Wanna out this out there for those of you that have never used heat wrap before! When you drive your vehicle after wrapping for the first time there is quite a bit of smoke that will come from the heat wrap once it gets nice and hot. I guess it's excess oils or something that need to burn off, but it does stop after a lil while of driving and getting the car nice and hot.

outstanding product
This is a great product. When compared to the name brand titanium wrap this wrap is heavier thicker and if you hold both up to the light you can see light through the name brand but not this wrap as it is a tighter weave. Some have said it may contain fiberglass I don't know.... but I do know it seems to be the same material. This is my second order and 50ft roll. Would buy more if I need it
