This is the second unit like this I purchased. The first one lasted two years of heavy use in the gym and the pool. I bought it again and this time I purchased the warranty. I figure if this one lasts two years like the first one and then I can use the warranty I'll really be getting a lot for my money. It has a huge storage capacity. I just loaded hours and hours and hours of music on it and still have more than half of storage left. It fits well on my little head, stays on very well while swimming, stays on well at the gym. It's nice to use at the gym because then I don't have to have my phone with me like I do if I'm using a bluetooth headset. controls are easier to work than others I've had. Sound quality is great, even better while swimming. For the money, I don't think there's a better unit out there for swimming. And I live in south florida so I swim pretty much every day from March through October so that's a LOT of use. I do wish you could tell how much battery life you have left every time you turn it on because once it beeps to let you know you're running low you could end up mid-swim with no battery.

After several hours I figured it out. You MUST make sure the files are .wma. You can NOT use windows media player. You MUST open and drop the files onto the player. THEN it will work. Hurray!

These headphones are a GAME CHANGER. I was worried about them being too big or too small as a wrap-around but they can be adjusted up and down to find a sweet spot on your head. Also, you can wear them inside or outside of the cap for a more secure hold. Getting the music onto the headphones could not be more simple. There is a really unique USB cord that clasps right onto the headphone and charges. Like other people have mentioned, it also just opens a folder on your computer and you can drag music files into that folder. Then you're done! The sound quality is amazing. I have used them a handful of times so far swimming laps fully under water without issue. I will say, the first time, it SOUNDED like one side cut out and died, but the next time it worked again. I'm pretty sure it just had to do with water in my ear or something that just needed to be shaken out. It's worked fine ever since. And even if it had died, the price on these made it worth a try regardless. But I'm glad they still work. The buttons are easy to use, in a simple spot to figure out blindly. Last thing- I leave these in my gym backpack and haven't charged them in a few weeks and they are still kicking. I swim 30-45 mins a few times a week so they are really solid.

First of all, I appreciate being able to easily open the package. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and sometimes the air turns blue while I struggle with packaging, but I had it unpacked in short order with no problems. I clipped on the charging cord and hooked up to my PC. It connected immediately with no problem. The contacts for the clip are exposed and I'm a bit concerned about that. They recommend cleaning them regularly with an eraser or toothbrush. Time will tell how that goes. After charging I easily loaded MP3 files, using drag and drop from my PC. I was pleasantly surprised to see it also accepts WMA files, I look forward to testing those. It didn't take long to adjust the fit so it would stay on my tiny head. Because of my RA I exercise in the pool. I do not swim, I go to a water aerobics class. I don't follow the class, the movements hurt my joints, so I just dance, and my head moves a lot. I have trouble keeping earbuds in my ears in general, much less dancing in the pool; but because of the angle of these, they stay put. I found out years ago that music was magic, enabling me to move in spite of my disease. It has to be loud and it has to drown out all other noise. It's like the music pushes into my body, comes out my fingers and toes, and makes everything move along the way. The sound quality has to be pretty good for the magic to work. The volume and music quality on this headset gets the job done. I'm very happy with it. I wore it at the pool yesterday and had a great workout. I used the largest land use earbuds to block the aerobics instructor's music. I stay in neck-deep water to protect my shoulders and the water does occasionally splash up around my ears. That happened and it did not affect the earbuds, even though they were not the swimming earbuds. I bought the Pyle because the JLAB GO which I have been using for years is giving me trouble powering on. That unit is no longer available and I wanted a backup in case it stopped on me. The Pyle is more comfortable and better music quality than the GO. The GO is now my backup! Now, if they only stay working. Scary reviews.

I love these for swimming. The sound comes and goes sometimes with swim cap movement but I love having tunes for swimming. It is very easy to charge (just don't loose that charger because it is specific to the device and don't know how you would replace it). You use the same cord to put music on and it is very easy to load. I lost a swim earbud immediately and their product support helped me get a replacement, in fact the pack they found for me has 4 pair so I should be set for awhile.

I have had these headphones for a little over 2 months now, and they are wonderful! I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews, but I waited a while to leave a review here so I could see if there were any cons to this product. So far I have no complaints. It works well, holds the charge (I usually swim for at least 90 minutes) and it can be submerged in water with no problem. I use for exercising in pool and swimming laps. Uses MP3 files, so you want to convert your music, but that's not hard. Itunes will let you convert any AAC song to MP3. Just drag and drop into the folder when you plug it in - very easy. Both earbuds work for me and the sound it good. You will want to read the directions thoroughly before going to the pool so you know which button does what. I keep up a fast pace so I don't have time to adjust the volume or switch songs, so I don't use that feature anyway. The ear buds fit my ears and it comes with multiple other earbuds to make sure you have a good fit. It's really made a huge difference in my workouts. I feel more driven to exercise hard and it's more fun with good music, just like jogging. I will update if there are any problems, but right now I can't think of anything that needs improvement.

Having tried about half-a-dozen portable MP3 players, this one is by far the best. Even though it can reportedly work for swimmers, which I never tried, its performance for runners and other workouts is superb. The following advantages are worth mentioning: 1) gentle, yet close contact with ears and excellent stability allowing any type of workouts; 2) no complications due to sweating; 3) a simple file structure: just one folder, very robust, multiple file structures tested all worked fine; 4) simple robust button design excluding undesired mechanical perturbations and unwanted interruptions due to random movements. Being so much impressed, I have then bought the same for my mom, wife, and a couple of friends as present -- excellent product.

You can load music on this MP3 player and play it for hours before needing a charge. The charger clip itself is a little weird, but I can live with it. I use this on short swims too. Just make sure you dry it off when you get out of the pool. I use them to run sometimes too, or at the gym. I have mine on shuffle, so each time I press the buttons forward or back I get a new song. No wires, no bluetooth, no problems. This is the perfect music player if you just want to shut out everything while you do your sets.

These Are A Step Up From Tha First Generation Pyle Mp3 Player, as Related To Smoothness Of Operation. I Wish That The Ear Insert Portion Of The Headphones Were Adjustible Instead Of In A Set Position. Everyone's Ears Are Different, and I Found Them To Be Uncomfortable Initially. I Purchased Some 3Layer Earbuds, and They Feel Much Better. I Do Prefer The Style Of Tha Frame Of The 1st Generation, because The Curves The look More Stylish. The 2nd Generation Frame Is To Circular and Bland For My Taste. I Also Wish They Came In All Black. Sound Quality Is Stellar Though. Great Product So Far.

Received the item on time as advertised. Tried them at the pool and the are great. The high frequencies start to muffle when going down to 5 or 6 feet under the water but come right back to clarity when going to the surface where most of us swim. No complaints. They are extremely easy to put on, easy to add music to on the computer and the buttons work fine for power/loudness. Put them on with the wire behind you head and with the word Pyle facing up on your right ear. The earbuds come in 3 sizes for swimming and 3 extra for using outside (these do not have the waterproof skin in the middle). Excellent purchase and cost less than the other brands. Sound quality is great. 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. Highly recommended.
