These are awesome! They provide a great cushion on the floor for my little one. Our house doesn't just have hardwood flooring but we have basically linoleum laid over concrete so our floor is very hard! I can put our baby in his play yard area and feel comfortable knowing that if he topples over he will land on something that will absorb his fall. These are well worth the extra price for the thickness and they're relatively easy to clean with a few wipes of some Clorox anywhere wipes.

I bought this with my own money no incentives what so ever . I say that because I saw numerous reviews were by those given the product . I just recieved the product today . Mat colors are vibrant and squares are thick . I placed then on hard tile floors and love it! I do need another set and wish these came with boarders to make the look more cohesive . It does have that nasty plastic-ity smell . It's Awful but will air out I'm sure .

Excellent choice for my in-home daycare.

I have a home daycare with a number of small ones transitioning from tummy-time to sitting to crawling to walking. We love this play mat! It is thick and feels cushy, colorful and easy to assemble and take apart, and I love that there are not cutout letters/designs in the middle of each piece. I've used that style before and the pieces are popped out, bent, lost, and a pain in the neck. I'm delighted I spent a little bit more for a large mat (36 pieces!) and extra thickness. Very happy with this!

Current toxicity report

I bought this product for my 8 month old to baby proof my hardwood and marble floors so toxicity was my primary concern. I spent a long time reading every detail of similar products as there are so many foam play mat sets that look similar. I eliminated the thin foam mats without further analysis and focused on the extra thick versions. There were several that almost had me sold until I clicked on more detail about their toxicity levels and certification. I found outdated 10-15 year old reports from Asia with a couple products from other companies. What I appreciated about this product from ubiquity is they show you what has been tested for and EU standards are far stricter than USA. It is also from 2015 so current. Aside from toxicity the product is as advertised and seems to work well. I've only been using it a few days so far and have just made one solid mat out of it and haven't tried to make different shapes. There was no strong odor when I removed the packaging as was suggested by some other brands. My only disappointment is it doesn't fit with the other foam play mat my partner bought from a different company. We intentionally chose two dif products to see which one we liked most. I thought they all would fit together in a similar fashion but they don't. I'm planning To keep both anyway since we need the coverage for our floors. I will likely be ordering more as well so will stick to one brand for future purchases, probably this brand.

Well made, functional!

It is well made, has no odor to it and was easy to put together. It brightens up my son's play area in the basement (we bought two sets) and gives him a safe, cushy place to play and to learn to crawl/walk.

Great thickness!

Nice thickness, smelled weird at first but after I wiped it down it was fine. I built it into a playpen since my little one isn’t crawling yet and she just stares at the colorful sides of it for a long while. We are still building our house right now but planning to buy another pack to do her entire floor. I have had the one with letters before and this Is way less of a hassle.

Perfect for a kids' bedroom floor

My kids begged for a rainbow floor... This is perfect because it's not permanent (since I'm not thinking they'll always want a rainbow floor!) Easy to put together. It actually fit with black floor tiles we got at Costco for a different room (teen wanted an exercise mat in his room) so we put the plain black under their beds and as an edging and it came out looking really nice! The kids are VERY active and this is perfect for dancing, rolling, wrestling, etc. Update 18 months later: This has been the flooring in our kids' bedroom for 18 months. They have damaged a couple tiles intentionally (with scissors and a permanent marker) but they've otherwise held up really well. Update years after original purchase: Still going strong. Great decision. The kids are about done drawing on things so we'll probably replace with the same thing soon.

Worth the $$

Product holds up to advertising. Pads are thicker than the cheaper kind. Worth the extra money. The squares come in a non reusable plastic wrap. I purchased a large zip bag to store the squares. The picture shows the squares how I received them.... in the plasic wrap.

Strong, Durable, Cushiony, Quality Mats‼️‼️‼️

These mats are of great quality!!! We purchased these mats to provide a cushiony surface for our very active toddler. She loves these mats. They are the most cushioned mats I've ever used. My daughter uses her finger nails to try to scratch them (I guess she like the sound it makes, 😬), and the mats don't scuff up or shed. The mats arrived in a couple of days as stated. I would highly recommend these mats for tummy time, playtime, and even for me to relax on while watching my daughter play or reading my bible.

Bang for your buck!

Better than any other foam tiles out there. Trust me, you're getting quality stuff and I would know bc I've tried them all. Fantastic produce, really bright colors (compared to a more expensive one from another company), excellent sound barrier for my loud toddler and downstairs neighbor, and easy to clean. Love it and will certainly buy more when we expand his play area :)
