Great gift for my 2 year old

Solid train set, has everything for a great introduction to wood trains. My 2 year old loves it and has been playing with it for almost a year. I've since added to his set with Ikea tracks and other brands, but I can tell that these tracks are a bit of a better quality. The battery operated trains roll better on these tracks for some reason. The wood looks almost identical except for the plastic peg inserts, but there must be a difference since these tracks allow the battery trains to run smoothly.

Great product and even better company!

We bought this for our 2 year old son to receive from Santa at a Santa meet and greet. He loved it! He really took to the little red car it came with. After we met Santa and he got to play with it for a while, we ended up going to Target and he insisted on taking the red car with him. While in Target he somehow lost it. It absolutely broke his little heart. I swear the kid ended up having PTSD from losing the car because he would wake up in the middle of the night crying about his car. I told my grandmother about it and she contacted the company and told them what happened and wanted to know if she could just purchase the little car. Not long after that, they mailed her a replacement car for my son! I can’t even begin to express my gratitude for replacing that little car. He is going to be such a happy little boy when he gets his little car back. Thank y’all so much.

Beautiful Set, way better than expected

After reading some negative reviews, I was a little nervous to order this for my kiddo! But I found the track easy to assemble, all of the pieces in excellent condition, and perfectly reversible. I set it up in the other room to make sure everything was there before packing it away with the rest of the Christmas gifts...but I ended up playing with it for half an hour and my husband came in to play with it too! Our toddler will love it!

Very easy to assemble and move around the tracks if desired

We purchased this for our son's 2nd birthday. He's now 2 and a half and still plays with this almost daily. He wakes up in the morning asking if he can play trains. Very easy to assemble and move around the tracks if desired, but not so easy that they accidentally come apart while playing. This was our sons first train tracks and it's perfect for a starter set like it was for him, but would also be perfect for extending tracks you already have.

Add on for Thomas the Train

Connects seamlessly with our wooden Thomas tracks. Does not have the same intricate design details, and feels like a lighter weight cheaper wood, but we went with a cheap set because of the outrageous cost of Thomas tracks, so we were expecting as much. The kids clearly don't mind.

Well made and fun train set for all ages.

This is a great starter set for children who are interested in trains. It’s fun to set up the tracks and arrange the buildings, trees and car. My three year old is enjoying playing with it. Also the box is reusable with a handle so you always have somewhere to store the pieces.

Great birthday gift for my 5 year old granddaughter.

This is a birthday gift for my 5 year old granddaughter to replace the 30 year old set my kids played with that has a half dozen missing pieces. She loves it and her mom says she plays with it every day. It does my heart good that she enjoys something requiring assembly and with no electronics involved.

Perfect for Toddlers

I purchased this train set for my 2 year old son. It is perfect as a first train set. I could have opted for a set with more pieces for the same price, but this one fits perfectly into his little hands and does not overwhelm a testy toddler. I also appreciate that the bridge supports are built into one plastic piece. This prevents my toddler from knocking down the bridge and throwing a tantrum for me to fix it every five minutes. Pieces ft together nicely and stay together. The train rolls along the tracks smoothly. With easy to follow directions, it only took 10 minutes to assemble. You won't need to purchase any additional pieces. Highly recommend.

Fosters Creative Play - Independently or Together

We love the train sets from Obrium. The tracks are double sided, so they can be flipped over and used to go in both directions for more track options. Unlike Chuggington, which has plastic snap-together pieces, we have found that our 3-year old can easily manipulate these sets and fosters creative play instead of frustration. We purchased this particular set as a gift for a 2-year old. Even though it states 3+ on the packaging, use your own judgement of your child's capabilities... our daughter has been enjoying these since she was 2.
