Great quality
The molds I bought don’t lend themselves to the design of these wicks. That really doesn’t take away from the quality of the product. They’re thicker than I thought they’d be. I had to cut the metal disc off the bottom in order to use it after it was threaded through the mold. Meh, live and learn, but the wicks are quality!

Awesome
Exactly what I was looking for! Arrived quick and well packaged. Also came with a thank you note which contained info about product and maker in the Ziploc bag. Haven't made candles yet but excited for it!! This will help complete my projects. Thanks!

Perfect if you know what you are doing.
These wicks are great. I make candles of all sizes but use these for 3" diameter soy candles. There is more to candle making than sticking a wick in a jar and filling with wax. The bad reviews and pics I've seen on here seem to be the wrong size container. Mine burn cleanly with soy wax, no wax is left around edges. No tunnel down the middle. Before buying evaluate and research wax being used and diameter or shape of container and if chosen correctly, you should have a GREAT candle. Remember, different waxes require different wick and different size containers require the appropriate wick. Candle making is a science before it is a hobby.

Perfect
The product came as described and felt very high quality. None of them appear to be broken or loose. They are easy to use and with the quantity received, this listing is a great deal! Now I can recycle the wax leftover from my wide candles and burn them in smaller jars. Once you add the warm wax with one of these candle wicks, the wax on the wick can melt pretty quickly, leaving your wick soft and flexible (which is not something you want if you want your candle wick to be straight). As suggested by a previous reviewer, I used pop-sickle sticks to "suspend" my wick into remaining straight. These wicks inspire me to get creative with my candles. Perhaps I'll make a tricolor candle next!

Good quality wicks
I just recently started making candles and it's been a lot of fun. Lots of ups and downs in this learning process, but these wicks have been great with every candle. I'm using 8oz straight sided jars and they are perfect. Some of the negative reviews I believe are due to not researching enough. As for not standing straight while pouring the wax, that's why they make wick centering devices that hold the wick still and keep them centered while you pour. (Shown in pic) I also glue mine to the bottom, or they make wick sticker things to hold them down. The soot problems people seem to have could be wrong wick size with wrong size jar etc... So many things could be causing that having nothing to do with the quality of these wicks. If I've learned anything in this process is that candle making is an art, and getting things right takes a lot of testing with a lot of different variables. I am using soy wax gb444 with the 8oz jars and for me, these wicks have been great. Slow steady burn.

Good value and good wicks
I used these in my handmade candles. I poured an 8 ounce tin that is 3" in diameter. These burn perfectly. My candles were highly scented with essential oils and I have had no issues. I will buy these again for sure. No smoke, no tunneling.

Fabulous for First Time Candle Makers
These wicks are really awesome! I have never made candles before and wanted to recycle a bunch of wax I have left from older, unusable candles. I was nervous because I read that it can be difficult to get the right combination of wick and wax, there seems to be a lot of variation in wax components. I'm just using regular, cheap paraffin. These wicks burn really well! There is NO smoke, they don't flicker and they don't fold over and dip back into the melted wax. If you are trying this project for the first time, you will likely have great success with these.

Great wicks when you research how to use them properly
These are the first wicks I’ve ever used but I did a lot of researching on how to make candles properly. These have been so awesome for me! They work perfect for 3” pillars and I’ve used them in jars and even tealights! Since they are wax-coated I’ve never had a problem with the tunneling or holes that can happen by the wick when the wax is drying. But they do move around when the hot wax is poured so I would second the other recommendations of using a pop-sickle stick to keep them upright.

Perfect for 8 ounce jelly jar candles!
These are made very well! I have used them in 8 ounce jelly jars with soy wax blend, and they burn fantastically - right down to the bottom of the jar which is not always an easy thing to do especially in an 8 ounce jelly jar.

It's not the wicks fault!
I have purchased about 3 packages and can honestly say I haven't had an issue with any. I do see a lot of one star reviews stating they do not stay lit, they burn too quick or the candle tunnels down .... Please make sure you take the time to test your wick. You will run into wick issues when you first make candles - this is inevitable and par for the course. It all depends on wax, scent, color and size. I have no issues with them in a 3" diameter jar. It depends on the scent, they work for most scents but not all. That has nothing to do with the the wick - you will run into that with every brand and type you try. Have sold about 20 candles using these and not one complaint. (Of course not every one burns a candle the second they buy it, but so far so good).
