Well built, cleverly designed, good looking, durable.
We live in a tiny apartment and I don't have space for a desk. This product literally made a significant difference on our family being able to stay where we currently live. The size is just right for my 13 inch laptop with a iPad on the side (shout out for the Duet app!). I use this with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Everything fits quite comfortably. Big time first world problem here. I got tired of the cords hanging down and getting tangled under the tray. So you can run the cord through the little hole that is in the bottom of the laptop or iPhone holder tray. It's nice. It's also helpful to me that I can easily take out the keyboard ledge. I don't think I'll ever use it and it makes it possible to put my keyboard there. Just pull straight up gently (it's with pegs so you can put it back in if you want later). The legs are solid and sturdy. Construction is far better than the Winsome Wood model we used and that broke in the first week. I think my only complaint here is that on one side the legs are too tight and they scrape when you push them in. The little drawer is also too tight and kind of awkward to get in and out. That probably varies by the model and it's super picky. Both work fine and will probably loosen with time. The mouse pad is nice. I abandoned mouse pads 10 years ago, but it's actually nice to have. The hinged side for angling up seems to be well constructed and works, though I don't personally use it. So all in all, highly recommend. This is one of those products I find myself super thankful that I bought.

Perfect lap desk and tray table!
I have recently been having back issues and some days cannot get up and move around as I would like. This lap desk allows me to use my laptop and tablet, plus be able to eat meals in bed if I need to. The legs fold up easily and it fits perfectly in the space between my nightstand and bed when not in use. The manufacturers have really added some great features such as a tilting desk with magnetic closure that raises and lowers easily with multiple angles to choose from. It also has trays in the back that are designed for tablets and smartphones. It also has a pull out drawer on the side! For the price, I think this lap desk is well worth it for all of the little extra touches it features! 5 stars!!!!

it works just great. I cannot use it well on my couch
When I pulled it from the box, I did notice the smell that had been mentioned previously, it has since dissipated. The color and finish is very much to my liking. I am a person with rather large thighs, and I was afraid that one of these tables would not work for me, it works just great. I cannot use it well on my couch, but it is great when I am not wanting to sit at my desk most of the day. I work from home, and I work odd hours, so I do not always want to get up and be going. I have a pup that I like to spend time with, and more so I enjoy the fact that I can lay or sit in bed with my husband and do my thing while he does his, and my arms do not go numb from holding electronics up. This is not an every day, all day use for me though, I have to get up and do something or I will go nuts, just keeps me from hurting, and gives me nice working space when I need it. I have not used the drawer yet, but my unit has a drawer that is nice fitting, so maybe they fixed the issue others were referencing. I pondered this purchase for days, I am very happy I decided to not just get one, but to go with this one!!!!

QUALITY PURCHASE!
I have had this bed tray for quite a while, but I wanted to give an accurate rating before submitting. I opted for the dark wood because I thought that it looked more expensive than the lighter color. Upon arrival, not only was the tray fully assembled and more appealing than I could have imagined, but it also gave plenty of space, heights for typing, as well as a pull-out tray and slot for a cell phone. Of course, by now, I have the expected small scratches from wear and tear, but the tray continues to hold up beautifully. I highly recommend purchasing this bed tray because it is long-lasting, useful (e.g., typing, writing, reading, eating), and it looks like a nice piece of furniture ... which makes the item worth its cost!

Great product
This bed tray for laptop is very good. My daughter usually put her laptop on her legs when she use her computer on her bed. I think it's not good for her health if she do that year after year. So I purchase this for her and she really like it and use it every day. The quality of the tray is very good too.

Best Investment Left-Handed Users Will Find!
I am completely in love with this laptop bed tray. I searched quite a few different types on Amazon as well as Walmart.com and other local shops and could not find a version designed specifically for left-handed people. I love that I can put my phone in the slot above the built-in mouse pad and I love that the laptop area raises to a variety of different heights. I live in an apartment and my office desk is in my bedroom. When my husband is asleep or laying down and not feeling well, he doesn't want to hear my tap-tap-tapping on the keyboard (I can type 110wpm and can get pretty loud when I'm working on an essay or a blog post). I prefer an eternal bluetooth mouse to the built-in mouse on my laptop but when I wasn't at my desk, it was difficult to use it sitting on the couch or the recliner in the living room. Don't have that problem any longer! The only MINOR complaint that I have (simply because the tray is all wood and a bit on the heavier side) is that with the legs folded up and the tray sitting on your legs can be a bit uncomfortable. Easily fixed though with putting a thin blanket over your legs.

Perfect!!!!
I purchased one for my older son, to have something convenient to use for his laptop and mousepad + cell.... This is beyond perfect!!! It is so well made, and a very beautiful little piece.. I ordered another one for my other son.. It's the perfect size for your laptop/mouse, without feeling crowded.. So, if your doing work or homework, or just watching a movie on laptop, it is so comfortable.... It could be used for a little breakfast tray, or whatever else you want. Both of mine were the darker stain, which are really just lovely, and just seem to add comfort, and quality ... along with a beautiful design. It makes doing work, a little more enjoyable

Purpose Accomplished
I purchased this desk to use as a standing desk in my office at work. Sitting at a desk 40 to 50 hours a week was starting to take a toll on my health. After 3 weeks it seems to be holding up well and matches the office decor, and has me standing most of the time instead of sitting.

Perfect for Actual Working and Appealing Aesthetically
This tray is awesome. I specifically wanted one that was wide enough that I could have my mouse and my laptop open, and that it would fit across the span of a chair. I figured if it was useful in bed, that would be a nice benefit, but mostly I have high maintenance hair and every few weeks I spend a few hours in a salon chair. I can’t justify taking that much time away from work, so I needed something that I could actually functionally use to work while sitting in the chair. Not only was this perfect for that, but it’s also great to use in bed. I don’t like working in bed because I feel like I am grossly unproductive, but I have now spent hours in the last few days working in bed thanks to this desk. The legs make it a little too high to have it unfolded, but resting across my lap it is comfortable, keeps my laptop from getting too hot, and is just the right size to actually use it like a desk, with an external mouse. Additionally, you can slide the charger cords through the slanted holes in the top, which keeps the wires out of your way as well. Also, I purchased this one because it isn’t ugly. It is a super nice looking wood, very sturdy, and it's nice to look at. I can leave it sitting in my room or living room and it matches my furniture as opposed to looking like a dinky desk that kids use. Overall, super happy with this purchase and I am likely to buy another one in the future.

Great tray for unconventional use
I'm thoroughly enjoying using this tray. I recently moved my computer setup outside of my room in order to have space for an HTC Vive. This tray has been a godsend since I didn't want to spend money on a whole new table. I mainly game on my PC, and that's not what this tray is really intended for, but it's still useful nonetheless. I have to angle my keyboard and my mouse pad actually takes up a good amount of space, but the fact that I can still fit everything and game comfortably is a testament to this tray. The small pull-out tray underneath is nice if you want to keep some pens and pencils in there for any sort of quick writing. Also, the phone and tablet divots are really useful, they even have slots in them in case you're charging the device. Most importantly for me was the space underneath the tray, I saw some that are too short and would bother me since I don't like sitting in one position for too long. I normally re-position myself every fifteen minutes and this is sturdy enough to handle me picking it up and shifting it around. There's even enough room for me to cross one leg over from time to time. The wood finish is also really nice and isn't an eyesore when I'm not using it. It goes well with all my dark-colored IKEA furniture
