I bought this for health reasons. I LOVE ice cream, I could eat it every day, and it's not healthy. I wanted to be able to make my own and control fat/cholesterol and especially sugar content. I made my first batch using almond milk, almonds, vanilla, organic Xylitol sweeter, and bananas. It was DELICIOUS! It tasted more like gelato, because I didn't use cream, but I LOVE gelato too! I will most likely be making healthy ice creams, but I'll treat myself and use Half & Half once in a while. It's super easy to use and fun! ***Make sure you freeze the ice cream maker for 24 hours before first use!*** Just follow directions, especially cleaning directions - NOT dishwasher safe! This thing is idiot proof if you read the manual first. Comes with lots of good recipes and you can make up your own too. Another cool thing about it...now I can NEVER run out of ice cream, LOL!

I bought it because my mother is very impatient and can't wait for traditional ice cream when I make it. This was a great way to enjoy instantly. As long as you can freeze it solid, it works just fine for an entire recipe from their book plus one or two more servings. The "hardest" part was waiting a bit for it to start freezing (took under 30seconds). Have done multiple batches so far and still works great. Super fun to use. Have used traditional cooked ice cream bases and just chilled them to use with this and they worked great. Nice texture.

I love this thing!!! It's perfect for anyone who doesn't like keeping ice cream around and only wants an occasional treat. You can follow the simple instructions that come with it for making your own mixture (I cut the recipe in half or 1/4 if I'm just making it for me and don't want to keep it in the fridge for too long) or develop your own to suit your own dietary needs. It's fun to get creative and develop your own favorites. Right now it's vanilla with shaved chocolate and crushed peppermints. BIG YUM!!! And it's ready in minutes. The instructions say to let in sit for 30 seconds before scrapping up but I'd wait closer to a minute. There are YouTube videos if you need a visual aid. The kiddos will love it too!

I’m buying so many of these as gifts for all my friends and relatives if you look at the reviews of people complaining about it not making hard ice cream or not that much ice cream that’s not what it’s made for I simply put milk with chocolate milk and Oreos and make ice cream it’s anything goes. I even used a can of yahoo with Oreo cookies and you got ice cream yes it is soft serve but it’s very cool if you’re lactose intolerant tolerate the perfect solution don’t listen to the other reviewer’s it is the best thing I ever bought to make ice cream. And yes it does make it more like a soft serve ice cream but that to me is the best and if you like ice cream soup this is just for you which is the way I love my ice cream. The picture I added was simply one can of yoo-hoo with a splash of milk

This thing is fabulous and it makes the perfect amount. I use almond milk, coconut sugar, vanilla, and of course heavy whipping cream. It does make it a little healthier. I have also added strawberries and my husbands favorite is add instant coffee and chocolate nestle quick mix for a mocha flavor.

Well worth it. Easy and quick,to make 1 or 2 servings. You don't have to use their recipes. I like the Keto option. 2T Heavy whipping cream, 2T cream cheese softened, 2T sour cream. Add 15 drops Sweet Leaf Stevia drops in desired flavor . YUM!

Works great, now I can make healthier sugar-free ice cream with stevia instead of sugar and unsweetened almond milk instead of milk (ever notice how much sugar is in milk? Take a look). Perfect addition to any anti-sugar household

THIS THING IS AWESOME!!!! Absolutely love it. I am able to make even more than the 6 batches they suggest, it works so well. I was worried after reading reviews of people saying they could barely get one serving out of it but I can get plenty! The problem is with their freezer temperature, not the ice cream maker. If you are using a freezer attached to a fridge you need to have it on the coldest setting and it works perfectly. If you have it at a warmer setting it won't get cold enough to do more than one batch. So make sure your freezer is on the lowest setting (or as close to 0 degrees F as you can) and it works perfectly. Seriously best thing ever to make ice cream with!!
