Nice Lap Easel

I'm currently stuck in bed, and this little easel is perfect to use on my lap as I can't get around much. Great size for the sketchbooks I'm using 9 X 12 inch and smaller. I have a clip light clipped on the back, as well as a gooseneck tablet holder for my references. Easel works really well for my current needs.

Great little easel!

I bought this little easel to use in a small space for my watercolors. It holds a 7x10 pad of paper very nicely. The 9x12 is a bit harder to handle, unless it's placed horizontally. The drawer is a fantastic feature. I only wish it were a little bigger/taller so it would hold the tubes of paint a tiny bit better. They fit pretty well, but stick up ever so slightly above the top edge and occasionally get stuck if they're jostled onto their side. All in all, though, it's been a fantastic purchase, and I would recommend to a friend. I did wrap some cling wrap around it in attempt to increase the longevity of the wood. I get pretty messy when I paint.

Handy

My grandma loves it. She has several of the adult coloring books and hated being hunched over all the time. This is small enough to fit on a table and big enough to hold her book. The backboard has three adjustments and the storage drawer latches shut so that you can carry the item with you without everything spilling out.

Excellent value

I'm attempting to learn how to draw, and the on-line course suggested having an easel. Since the course is on-line, and I work on a desktop, this fit the bill. The easel portion adjusts to different angles, and with the storage drawer, I can have my basic supplies at hand. It also folds up neatly so I can put it away easily. There are nice little rubber feet on the bottom, so it stays put, and a carry handle so it's easily portable.

Exceeded my expectations

I read some poor reviews about this so I while I expected to receive a fully working product I didn’t set the bar too high (also because I’ve never had anything like this before, only a drawing table). I was pleasantly surprised. I like how I can use it when I’m doing late night drawing on my bed as well as on my table, it has definitely helped me with my neck issues. The only downside is that the storage drawer tends to get a bit stuck, but in all honesty when I first bought this I didn’t when expect to use it

Perfect for what I wanted.

Got this to be able to put my diamond paintings on when I work on them in the evening, as my overhead table light glares off the glue on the picture making it hard to see the pattern. I did end up getting a board to put on the easel because the canvases are bigger than the easel. Works well to hold my tools and set the containers with the bags of dots on when I work with my canvas flat on the table during the day.

Love this! Got this for my 5 yr old ...

Love this! Got this for my 5 yr old for Christmas. She loves to paint and draw but we have limited space and a stand up esal was just not do-able. This was a perfect size. Also the drawer, the little latches and handle made it perfect for her to carry around the house until she found her perfect spot in the house. I would recommend this to anyone at any age.

Most useful drawing board

I am a professional artist and using Solana Adjustable Wood Desk Table Easel for so long. Its so easy to cary because its light weight. I can store it in small place due to folding capacity. It does not take more space in your room. Usability wise its so nice that you can pin your paper on the soft surface and it has some thin base so that it can hold your paper also from bottom. So nice experience. Thanks to Solana for such a good product!!!

Useful tool!

Easy to use and super useful. Carries my watercolor pens and watercolor paints in the compartment. I like that the drawer slides out completely so I can keep my paints next to me while holding the easel on my lap. Didn’t use the raised feature (yet). Makes plein air painting a breeze.

Great buy, look for any missing or loose screws

Gift for my 7 year old niece. She loves it! Carries it around like a briefcase! Found a loose screw in the box, but easy to put back in place. Otherwise no issues!
