This steamer is incredible! We have been through several steamers over the past decade, and this one is hands-down the best. Attached is a picture that shows about 60 seconds worth of effort on the left side versus the original on the right. It's worth a thousand words! For what it's worth, I paid full price for this steamer. No discounts or special offers.

Works Great and Quick

This steamer is great. This is our first garment steamer and I got this based on the great reviews. At first I considered getting a regular iron and ironing table but the price of both of those would be the same or exceed this steamer so I said why not try this. I'm glad I got it and was really surprised how well it worked. It produced steam really quick and the wrinkle just disappeared like magic after a single slow stroke. My 7 year old boy saw it and he said he wanted to try it. I gave him the wand and he had fun with it. He said, "can this be my new job?". Suffice to say, we're happy with this.

Excited to have this

I received the steamer yesterday. This works wonderfully so far. Steam was hot and steady. No leaking or dripping. I used a commercial steamer during my retail days so I'm familiar with the pros of having one - no scorching or burning and much more steady than the steam function on my iron. One note, during assembly I became a little irritated that I could not fit the pole into the body of the unit. In my defense :) it did look like it wouldn't fit and there were a couple of other comments along those lines. The best I can say is to work it in. It ended up fitting very snugly into the unit.

Wonderful steamer BUT some issue with deposits inside packaging-- careful before you open!

I love this steamer! I bought it to replace a Conair one that was wonderful but quit after appx. 2 years. My problem with the Conair one is it was not built to be able to be taken apart and cleaned. One of the things I looked for when replacing it was the ability to take it apart and clean it. This one was easy to assemble and works beautifully. It is easy to disassemble for cleaning as well. The tank is smaller than some steamers, but not to the point where you have to refill it after each use. HOWEVER, I liked it so much I bought one for my dad for Christmas. Unfortunately, when his arrived there were sand (or something like that) deposits all inside the bag which the main unit was wrapped in. I couldn't tell if the sand was coming from the unit (as if it had been returned due to malfunction) or if it was just poor packaging. (See photos attached.) We did not assemble it and see if it still functioned-- I just returned it. I will be purchasing another one again, because the one I ordered for myself did not arrive with that issue and it is a wonderful steamer, and am hoping that that one was just a fluke. Of course, at the time that I ordered the one that arrived with all the sand, the price was cheaper than it is now, but again, it is a wonderfully functioning steamer so I will be replacing it with the same product. Amazon has a very easy return system so no big deal.

Gentle, effective steam without sputters.Quick heat up and instant cool down. Love it.

This steamer was ordered as a replacement for a previous Conair floor model which no longer heated after two years. When this one arrived, (within two days), it was intuitively obvious how to put it together and my distilled water was waiting. This steamer was so much more gentle than my previous one and had no spurts or sputters. Reading directions helps: starting from the bottom of the garment means that by the time I reach the top, most of the wrinkles have miraculously disappeared from rising steam. Water heats in under one minute and shuts off instantly when powering down. This is so much quicker than ironing and leaves no shiny iron marks or unwanted pleats. The lapels on my lab coats are nice and flat and pockets and back pleats are smooth - in under 2 minutes. My go to for making clothing look new!

Amazing customer service!!

I purchased the Pure Enrichment PureSteam XL Standing Steamer and really liked it -- it was not quite as powerful as the last one I owned (which has been discontinued), but it gets the job done. After almost 2 years, the unit suddenly stopped working -- the light still turned on, but no steam would come out. Admittedly I use tap water (not distilled water as recommended), and I hadn't done routine cleanings to prevent scale build up. When it stopped working I tried cleaning the unit with a vinegar/water solution but it didn't work. I contacted customer service and asked if they had any tips for troubleshooting. They asked for a copy of my receipt, so I sent them a screenshot of my Amazon receipt, and they shipped me a brand new one, which I received a few days later!! I was so surprised they sent a new one, though I noticed on the box of the new one that it comes with a 2 year warranty! It could not have been an easier transaction to get a new one. I'm super pleased with their amazing customer service! With this new unit I will be doing my best either use distilled water or clean it on a regular basis to prevent hard water build up!

I don't use my iron anymore. Juat my PureSteam XL

I ordered my steamer while visiting my daughter in Hawaii. When i asked to use her iron she explained that she didn't own one. She just had the PureSteam XL Standing Fabric Steamer. I was with her for 12 days and on the 9th day I ordered my own from Amazon. It was waiting for me when I got home 4 days later. As expected, I am just as happy with mine as i was with hers. Now my iron sits in my closet and may be donated or given away soon.

Does a great job steaming clothes

I ordered this as a replacement to Ironing clothes or sending the clothes to the Dry Cleaners. Of course, since I'd never steamed clothes before, I had greater expectations for the final results. It WILL NOT deliver the results of an Iron and certainly not that of Dry Cleaner pressing. If that is what you expect, forget it. Now, for the realistic review. After being on for about 30 seconds to a minute, the steam started flowing very well. Aside from a little sputtering here and there, the steaming was consistent. And hot, of course. You can burn yourself with it, so exercise some precautions. * The steaming DID get rid of the wrinkles as it should, just not as pressed as noted above. * The unit was very easy to assemble. * Extremely well made. * Simple to use. In regards to what I would expect a fabric steamer to do, I had to give it 5 stars. I can't see how any other steamer would be better. Just don't expect this to replace Ironing or Dry Cleaning.

I have only used the steamer a few times, but I must say I really really like it. The build quality seems very good. The handle is comfortable in my hand. I like the sleeve on the hose of the steamer. It keeps the hose from feeling too hot to my hand. This is definitely a problem with other steamers. The steamer heats up very fast, which I love. It takes virtually no time to begin producing steam. I've used the steamer on a pair of cargo shorts, a couple polo shirts, and a very thin cotton shirt of my wife's that gets incredibly wrinkled. The steamer has made short work of them all, quickly taking care of the wrinkles. My son is a competitive dancer and costumes are often hand wash or dry clean only. Many of them can't take the pressure of an iron, so I believe the PureSteam XL will do wonders for them. If I could make one suggestion for the product, it would be a clip that attaches to the "steam head" of the unit to use on collars. Every part of the unit seems well made. From the wheels, to the telescoping rod (which I was apprehensive about) to the hose, and handle, everything feels well made.
