This is the perfect little paper cutter. I rarely find that I need to cut something bigger that this with precision. This is a very sturdy build and it feels very strong. I like the grip on the handle better than the old wooden ones. The blade is sharp and I'm able to gut up to 10 sheets or so at a time. the sliding guide is also nice to continue to cut with consistency and the markings are dead on in terms of measurements.

I'm a Kindergarten teacher who loves loves loves school supplies. I came across this paper cutter, and thought of the convenience it would bring if I had one in my classroom. When I'm with the kids, I can't exactly "run" to the staff work room. I love how it is fairly small and sturdy. I was very pleased with this purchase! :)

Not bad for a little paper cutter. All you have to do for assembly is to attach the handle. Metal base is sturdy feeling. Grids are for ISO paper, so keep that in mind. Comes with a nice paper stopper that sticks to the base via magnets. Holds position well. First few cuts I tried were clean and straight. The clear hold-down piece is useful. Overall a well thought-out product.

We use this thing religiously for coupon cutting. It has saved our hands countless hours of work with scissor. I will admit that the quality is not what you would get from an expensive one you would find in an office - but we have had 0 issues with ours so far.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife and she loves it. She is making cards and cutting the card stock into the right size with straight lines was tedious. Now that part of the process is quick and easy.

This 12” guillotine paper cutter is a very nice. I got it for my wife to use at work, she is a high school secretary. It is very well made and the materials are of top quality. We have tested it on paper up to and more then 10pc as it says in the description and it works very well. The marking on it are very convenient for making all kinds of cut at whatever size you need. And the markings for some of the more common sizes are very handy. I would recommend this for anyone who needs a paper cutter for anything from small school projects to scrap booking. It is not a heavy duty cutter that should be used hard every day for an extended amount of time. But it is a Great cutter for a good price to be used by someone who has frequent small jobs to do.

Really a great product, it has a good solid weight and the magnetic guide is something I never realized I'd wanted before now. The guides are really easy to read and it isn't very awkward to store. I haven't had a chance to get very heavy use out of it yet (by my standards, I'd figure that to be at least 30+ pages over the course of a day), but every time I have used it so far it's been wonderful and not hard on my hand. After some heavy use I'll update if there is any change to that, but I'm very confident in the product so far and would recommend it - that magnet has already saved me so much time having to make multiple cuts be a uniform size!

I have been wanting a paper cutter like this for so long. You just can't beat the guillotine style. These are my personal preference over the paper cutters without the arm. Likes + excellent size + lines for sizes and creating straight cuts + plastic guide by the blade to help hold and prevent cuts + clap to hold paper in place + good handle grip Dislikes - There is no lock on the arm I love so many things about this paper cutter. I've never seen one with the extra plastic clamp piece to keep your paper in place while cutting. Also, I like all the lines and measurements on the board to serve as a guide for cutting. The plastic piece near the blade works great for holding the paper and preventing your fingers from getting too close. The only downside to this paper cutter is that there isn't a lock on the arm. All other cutters I've seen have a little latch to hold the arm in place. Since I didn't see one, I have to keep this hidden away from the kids more than I would if there was a latch. They are 5 and 6, so I feel like they wouldn't touch it if told not to, but without the latch accidents are just waiting to happen. So, I keep it in a cabinet out of the way. If the arm had a latch, this would be the perfect paper cutter. I gave 5 stars anyway because the other features are so nice.

Works great for cutting papers. I did find that if you try to cut more than say 10 pages at once it will not cut at the bottom correctly. Less then that - no problem. the measurements are accurate and the cut is sharp and clean in most cases. The paper 'holder'/alligher on the left doesn't do much good. I usually didn't use it, just pushed it over to the side.

Works great! I printed business cards and signs on card stock and this cutter worked fabulously and made it so much easier to cut straight lines!
