Great SSD bracket!
I am a computer consultant, so I install a lot of SSDs. I have already installed about 15 or so of these brackets, and have decided I like them better than the Sabrent dual SSD brackets. I have installed over 50 of the Sabrent brackets before I discovered these. These are easier to use for the most part. Also, these put the connectors in about the same location as a regular hard drive, so it fits more brackets (such as those blue plastic ones Dell uses). The ONLY thing that drives me nuts about these brackets is how they package the screws. It comes with 3 sets of 4 screws, each in their own little bag, which is TIGHTLY rolled up and then TAPED shut. It is really challenging to get the screws out without cutting yourself. I have written to Corsair to try to get them to change this, since I will probably be installing hundreds of these things. These brackets are good, but some of the edges are kinda sharp. Of course, if you work on computers a lot you realize there are a lot of sharp things inside a computer case. But for you novices out there, just be careful when you handle these. Bottom line: I prefer these over the Sabrents because of where they position the SSD connectors, and because it is easier to install a SSD in them.

I love you Corsair and your Sail Logo!! :D
Corsair, I will always love you for the number of accessories you provide with most of your products. This was shipped to be with 3 sets (of 4 each) of screws. Can you believe that.... 3!! The fit and finish is amazing. Screws in perfectly in my tool-less plastic HDD trays (Cooler Master CM 690) I brought a Samsung 850 EVO 1TB SSD and those ******* don't even include screws inside. How lame! for the price they are asking, the least they could have done was to provide 1, just ONE set of screws.

No instructions, but does the trick!
I wanted to give it a lower rating because I had to install and remove it about 50 times before I finally figured it out (it does NOT come with instructions). But then I realized I'm the idiot and this bracket should not pay for my sins. If it's helpful for any of you: I installed this in combination with a Samsung 850 EVO in a 21.5" 2011 iMac. As mentioned, it took me forever to figure it out before I finally realized it needed to be installed UPSIDE DOWN in order for everything to fit properly. Hopefully that tip will save you time, and embarrassment! :) I've attached a picture for you to see...

Perfect fit in PC
Worked perfect for installing a SSD in a conventional HD slot on a desktop PC. The nice thing about this mounting tray is that it will hold two drives stacked on top of one another. I'm only using it for a single drive but its nice to know that if I want to add a second SSD, I have room to do so without having to mount another tray. This tray is solid build and comes with several sets of mounting screws of which you may or may not need some or all of them. For the price, it's an excellent product.

Great dual SSD mount for a desktop
I now have 3 SSDs. I have more than enough room in my desktop for a single SSD mount, but I wanted air circulation around all of my PC components to help them last longer. This dual mount did the trick. The works great. It is made of aluminum and it slipped while putting in a screw and bent a corner a little bit. Easily bent it back, no problem. The only thing that I have to say that could be construed as negative is that it hangs out a bit from the enclosure that a normal 3.5" hard drive sits in. Maybe about 1/8" or so. Nothing to worry about as there is more than enough room in my desktop case for air to move around. Overall, I would buy this product again just because it can house 2 SSDs at once.

Connectors fit perfect, both power and SATA
This adapter fit 100% inside this Dell HDD caddy. Just gotta play with the support pins and make sure they snap right in. Connectors fit perfect, both power and SATA. Extremely satisfied!

Another Great Product by Corsair
I refurbish computers in my free time and I've used off brand SSD brackets before until I found these. I absolutely love this bracket! It has the same dimensions as a HDD; yet, can fit 2 SSD drives on it. It comes with all of the hardware for mounting and the metal used seems to be fairly decent. So far, I've used this to mount SSD drives in a Dell Optiplex 960 SSF and 2 Dell Precision T1650s. I'll never use another bracket again! Another great product by a great company!

replaced HD with SSD and this adapter in 2011 iMac
I purchased this along with a Crucial 2TB SSD and OWC in-line digital temp sensor to replace the HD in my mid-2011 iMac. The sensor keeps the fans from running wild as the temp function for 2011 was included within the HD control circuitry. This was simple to install and works great. I did watch a video to show how to install, which was helpful but not necessary. I am very happy with the improved speed performance of my iMac after these upgrades!

Very versatile
I don't even know how many of these I've bought, yet I'm always running out. That just shows how useful they are. The only thing I might not be completely happy about is that I don't think it really needs to be the full length of a 3.5" drive. If it just expanded the drive width but kept the length minimal, it'd be way more versatile. This only came up when I was working on a mini tower case - wound up chopping off an inch or so to attach it. This is partly a fault of the case having weird fan placement, but still something I wish I hadn't had to deal with. Overall, still very happy and will likely buy more in the near future.

Don't get the single drive!
Love these brackets. They are cheaper than the junk at Best Buy and work just great with all the SSDs we've used so far. Do NOT get the single drive size as they are too short for almost every computer we've tried them in. The dual size works just fine.
