He is thirteen years old and in stage 3 renal failure and is hungry all the time but fussy about what I put in front of him. He loves these pouch food and eats one every three hours round the clock. What I like about them, bsides the fact that he loves them, is that they are quiet. I can open one of these and feed him and the other cats don't hear it as they would when I opened a can of food.

I recently found out that my 14 yr old kitty is in the early stages of kidney (renal) failure. Among others, one of the symptoms/results of renal failure is rapid weight loss and muscle wasting (where the muscle mass decreases). I realized I needed to add some quality protein and more liquid to her diet as soon as possible to counteract the weight loss. I wandered through the pet store and came across these pouches. They seemed like exactly what I was looking for so I took them home for the ultimate test - would my cat eat them? Sure enough, she pounced and gobbled down the entire contents in the time it took me to walk to the garbage can and throw away the package. Seriously. She basically inhaled it. I tried the 6 different classic broths flavors and she loves them all. And when I looked on Amazon, I found that the price is almost half that of the pet store. I couldn't be happier. Hopefully this helps to keep my baby from losing any more weight.

My cat has to take asthma pills every morning and night. This is no easy task and we tried everything from pill pocket treats to sneaking it in her food to forcing it by hand, which stressed her out even more. I mix a small amount of liquid from a pouch w the crushed pills and shoot it into her mouth using a syringe. She tastes fish, which she loves and i know she actually kept down her medicine. I store the open pouch in a ziplock baggie in the fridge. The liquid from one pouch gets me through the week and at the end of the week she gets the actual meat within the pouch as a treat.

My 18 year old cat Bella, was sick with end stage kidney disease. I fed her Fancy Feast Broths anytime she wanted one. Bella loved these broths especially the Classic flavor. I liked the fact that Amazon was cheaper than any of the grocery stores I live around. Thank you to Amazon for keeping their prices down and continuing to deliver for free. You helped me keep my Bella happy during her final weeks of life! And, for that I thank you very much. Very Sincerely, Mommare Dunn

I have to give one of my cats medicine twice a day, probably for the rest of his life. I can mix the meds in his food but he is an indifferent eater so it was challenging to be sure he got all his medication down. This stuff is like magic. He DEMANDS it twice a day and even grabs at his bottle of medicine bc he associates it with the Fancy Feast broth. And he licks up every drop so I don't have to worry about undermeficating him. This stuff isn't cheap but it has cut my stress immensely and decreased emergency vet trips to zero -- worth every penny!!

I don't know what's in this stuff, but if you REALLY love your cat, (cause it's quite expensive) it's like the best thing my cat has ever eaten. My cat is a 16 year old female Persian, so I noticed that she digests this broth well, doesn't spit it up, the fish broth seems easily digested and her coat is glossy from the fish varieties. Trouble is, she can consume a LOT of these packets per day so I now add a wet canned cat food to these cat broths. I jokingly call this stuff, "crack for cats", but I just mean the cat loves the stuff and won't eat other brands now. And no, nobody asked me to write this and I hardly ever write reviews.

After noticing that my nineteen-year-old female tabby seemed to be resembling an ancient, frazzled, possibly ailing, orange bedroom slipper [no politics are intended by this review], I happened upon Fancy Feast's Broths. Once I opened the pouch and poured, I observed a formerly indifferent feline lunge to attention. As her face moved closer and closer to the plate, it didn't take long to realize she was rapidly losing her mind over this soupy something. The insane lapping and tongue-sponging of what was without question 'cat liquid gold,' nearly prompted me to open a pouch for myself, but I fought off this crazy impulse by heating up a quick batch of human-intended soup so as to enjoy, vicariously, her second pouch. , Now I live at the mercy of what can only be described as a four-legged brothaholic who wails for four or five envelopes a day of this magical potion. She should be renamed Pouncy de Leon for having discovered the brothy Fountain of Cat Youth. Her method of drinking it is to lap it mechanically, like a lapping machine, and then press out the solids with her tongue so as to get every last drop of liquidy goodness. Thanks to this amazing elixer my once-grizzled cat seems to behave like a teenager again. She runs laps throughout the house, yowling for a boyfriend and more broth. Her fur is now silky and healthy again, full of protein and electricity. Sometimes I'm afraid her heart cannot stand the ferocious activity induced by her soup and will perhaps blow up like the worn-out heart of a cocaine addict. She recently picked a fight with her 13-years-younger step-brother who now wants out of her way. No matter how groggy she may be after a 5-hour nap, this cat is always ready for broth. She has never turned down a sack of it, and the last one seems as delicious as that first one she ever ate. . We have decided to let her drink herself to death via this fabulous broth. Her broth is her breath.

My cat has decided that these little packets of broth and fish are the most delicious things to eat. She would request one every day or two, but now it’s a daily thing for her to sit in front of the pantry and meow until I retrieve one for her. And her beautiful fluffy coat seems to have gotten even more beautiful since she’s started eating these daily. They’ve become a good compliment to her regular dry food.

Squeeze/mash the packet thoroughly before serving. This breaks up the meat chunks into the broth so that when the cats go to lap up the liquid, they end up inadvertently eating most of the meat too. This is the only food my cats consistently enjoy, and I use it as a supplement to their dry food. It's a good means of getting extra liquid into your cats, since they tend to err on the side of not drinking enough water. My only complaint is the cost. These aren't cheap for what you end up with. It would be nice to see a big, bulk order option that would knock the price per pouch down closer to 70-80 cents, instead of $1.07, $1.17 or higher. Keep an eye on your local stores for sales - usually "10 for 10", to try and capitalize on cheaper prices.

All four of my fur babies love this! The photo says it all!!
