Excellent carry case for my Celestron Powerseeker 70AZ.

THE bag for most amateur astronomers.

Protective and Padded Telescope Carry Case (Red Fox) -- This is probably the perfect telescope carrying bag/case for any amateur astronomer with anything smaller than an 8" scope. It should comfortably fit any reflector or refractor with a tube length of 37" or so and up to about 7" outside diameter. Depending on the OD, you should also be able to fit the tripod in the case as well since there are lengthwise padded dividers sewn into the bottom just for that purpose. In addition, there are four nylon straps sewn to the bottom, a zipper pocket on the exterior and two separate zipper accessory bags. The bag itself is constructed of very heavy weight nylon and the padding is better than I have seen on most telescope bags. Honestly, this was a steal for the price.

Excellent case

This case is pretty fantastic for the price. I purchased it for my Orion Starblast 4.5 with the equitorial tripod mount and it all fits. You have to tetris stuff a little bit, but I was able to safely transport the entire tripod, telescope and a few accessories safely with it. It has nice thick padding and straps to hold everything in place. Would absolutely buy again.

Love the case

I purchased this case after looking at a lower priced one and I'm glad I did. This case is QUALITY, you can feel it from the moment you open it. I was pleased to find that there were straps in both sections to make sure the optical tube and tripod don't move. I have the Celestron Powerseeker 70 EQ and I have more than enough room for all of the parts. I purchased a small stuff sack locally to hold the mount, minus the counterweight. The front zippered pocket gives me a place to store my red flashlight and a couple of tools with room to spare. Don't go cheap for your case, you want THIS case!
