Yum! Better than Cool Whip!

I confess to being suspicious, since I've tried vegan/casein-free "dairy" products before, but this was great! I used it on Thanksgiving, and taste-tested it in comparison to Cool Whip, on pumpkin pie. My whole family preferred Vivian's. Really, even the ones that get to eat "normal" food did. That is a first for an allergy food. You do need to follow the directions, and whip it as long as it says, to get good, peaky, whipped topping. Yum!!

I followed the directions exactly! This turned out perfect, the only reason I think that other people did not like is because they did not follow the directions. This is great!

It works!

I was very skeptical that something that didn't have dairy in it would taste like whipped cream or have the texture. This product accomplished both. When I saw the brown liquid in the bottom of my mixing bowl I figured "no way" was this going to be good. I whipped it for the four and a half minutes per directions and it was tasty, creamy and even though the package said use immediately, it was still good several hours later stored in the refrigerator. I'm ordering more.

Imagine you can have whipped topping again if you have had to live without it because of milk and wheat allergies. It was fabulous (you do have to follow the directions very carefully) and have it any time you want without having it take up freezer space. I am going to recommend it to my circle of friends and family who have been unable to eat with the rest of us because of their allergies. Yippee!!

Don't know what the peeps who are complaining were expecting. Heck, if you live with a limited diet because of food sensitivities, something like this is a huge blessing! No, it doesn't taste like whipped cream, but it does taste like a good Italian meringue made with boiling syrup and then chilled! And if you make a chocolate mousse with whipped coconut milk, cocoa and sugar, you can mix this with it for an extra bit of loft and flavor! Delicious! Makes life so much nicer to have treats like this!

My husband can't have dairy and I have struggled to fine replacements for his favorite foods. This is wonderful. You must follow the package directions and whip for the full 4 1/2 minutes and it is whipped cream consistency with an excellent flavor!
