Better than expected based on reviews

I debated about buying these glasses because there were a lot of negative reviews. One big complaint was that they didn't stay cold long enough. Well, I found that they eventually do "warm up" at room temperature. Nonetheless, they do keep my beverages colder longer than my other glassware. In addition, they don't "sweat" all over my tables. I plan to buy some more in different sizes. It's a minor detail, but I do wish they were dishwasher compatible.

My boyfriend loves bourbon and whiskey cold but doesn't always want it to bloom as an ice cube can cause it to do. This was a great solution to chilling the whiskey without changing the taste uncontrollably with a melting ice cube. This allows him to put as many droplets of water in it as he wishes (or none!)
