Before buying this product I read a lot of mixed reviews that I would like to respond to. 1) some complain these break easily if dropped or bumped. Yes, plastic gets brittle when cold, just be careful like you would be with glass. 2) yes, when cold materials are subject to sudden changes in temperature they might check. Use common sense and let the glass come to room temp before putting it into hot dishwater. 3) yes, plastic scratches, again use common sense and don’t use a rough scrubber to wash it. I just put a drop of dish liquid and water in the glass and wash it with my hand. 4) some complained about the inner rim/ridge. I don’t know how they are drinking from them because I can’t tell there is a rim there. I literally had to hook my teeth and lip over the edge of the glass to feel the inner rim/ridge with my lip. 5) yes, plastic isn’t as elegant as glass, but they are a very pretty contemporary design and being plastic works well for outdoor use/around a pool. The point is, you really don’t have to treat them differently, just gently—have not experienced any of the above durability problems. I have been using these about a month and have really enjoyed very cold martinis. I live in the south. It will be interesting to see if they stay frozen in our heat. I think they might make nice shrimp/crab/lobster cocktail bowls for dining alfresco. My critique: the insulation on the outside to keep your hands from getting cold could go up the glass a bit further, but who knows it might be nice to be able to chill your hands when it’s hot. They do take up a moderate amount of space in the freezer, but so do most martini glasses. I would buy them again. Plan on purchasing other freezable glasses from Host.

I love these!!! I love martinis but it was tough keeping them cold when we camped. I was hesitant at first after seeing some of the reviews about cracking but I gave it a shot anyway. I am so happy I bought them!! I use them every time we camp and want to get a set for the house now too because they keep your martini so cold! I never had an issue with them cracking when I froze them and I had even dropped them several times and had no issues. (I always hand washed them, always froze the upside down) However....my dumb butt made an error which caused them to crack. I took them ice cold from the freezer and tossed them in fresh, super hot dish water. They cracked. But honestly that's to be expected. You can't take something ice cold freezing and change the temp that extreme. I will be ordering another set for the camper and a set for the house. Totally worth the money, they work great and are really durable. Just make sure you care for them properly and you won't have any issues. Definitely worth the money!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE. Take this with a grain of salt - I have just received them and used them only once -- but these are so amazing. I always chug my drinks because I don't like warm martinis. Thanks to Host, I can savor and enjoy. There is a little lip on the inside, but it didn't bother me. My next question, which seems obvious to me....where are the champagne flutes? Seriously - think about it HOST. I would definitely send these as a gift (which I have already done and our friends LOVE them), and treat them with kit gloves to keep them as long as possible. No. don't put them in the dishwasher, hand wash only. Let them air dry overnight, then put them in the freezer. I'll keep you updated if anything happens...

I find I can get about 2ish martinis out of one before it starts getting to warm. I like that they don’t have a stem they’re sturdier. These would make an awesome gift for someone who likes martinis. They do take up a chunk of freezer space but I find that if you stack them it’s not as bad. Freeze them upside down so they keep the liquid cold. Holds about 5oz of liquid to the top of the frozen part with a bit of an unfrozen rim.

These gel lined martini glasses are so cool, literally. They are not glass though, they are plastic. They keep your martini, or whatever you're drinking, cold for quite some time. I haven't measured how long they will keep a drink cold, but long enough for me to finish mydrink, in my case a dry martini. Now if you've had a few martini's and knock your Freeze cup over, it won't break like a long stemmed martini glass will. Also, it only takes and hour or two to become frozen, and after you've consumed your drink, just place the cup in the ice tray upside down and by the time you drink your second drink, it will be frozen and ready to use again. Cheers or Salute!

I like my drinks chilled. I purchased a set of these, glass version, and they work very well outside in hot weather. They do what they are supposed to do. They are durable, but we are careful with them. We hand-wash them after use and place them upside down on a shelf in the freezer. I'm very happy with these so far.

These glasses are 1) perfect for drinking and carrying martini's without fear of the glass tipping or spillage; 2) definitely keeps martini chilled so you may sip at your leisure and enjoy your cocktail to the last cool drop; 3) insulated base grip allows holding without condensation wetting your hand & it prevents drink from warming. If you don't have freezer space to hold these until use, you will need to plan to pop them into the freezer, on a level surface (so coolgel within the glass walls will chill evenly); prior to use. You will not be disappointed with this 2 glass set. I am satisfied with performance of this unique cocktail glass and I highly recommend. Cheers!

We bought these to make lemon drops while we're trailer camping. They are perfect and actually I'll probably buy more to use in the house on a regular basis. They've saved some warm beverage scenarios too, with the chilled gel inside. So many people would greatly appreciate them. They're very high quality and I like the sturdiness of them.

They are not the prettiest things but the keep your cocktails cold for a long time. Nice for at the pool in the heat of summer. I can usually use it for two cocktails before needing to refreeze. Worth the money.

These glasses allow me to slow down and enjoy my martini! No need to rush, because this keeps my drink cold for along time. We bought additional martini glasses, because we like them so well. Our martini drinking guests love them!
