Purchased for 7 year old granddaughter who normally wears youth size 13 in regular shoes. I ordered a size 1 for her in these shoes. They fit great with a little growing room. They are easy for her to put on and take off herself. Very happy with the purchase. She's been in dance for 2 months and wears these shoes to dance class and home after hip hop. She has tap and ballet in between the two classes so these shoes have also received a bit of street wear but still look new.

ordered the true size

I measured my daughter's foot and ordered the one that was closest. Her foot is 7.25" and runs regular to narrow. The size 13 fits her well. They are not tight, but they are also not loose. Other reviews said not to order too big for dance shoes, that's why I got the closest size instead of sizing up. After I got these and saw how they were made, I can see how the little padded heel might cause problems with their foot slipping off it if they were too big.

My daughter (8yr) loves these shoes. She can be picky about shoes, as most dance moms can experience from their kids. We bought a half size up from her street shoe size. She likes to wear socks with jazz shoes. They fit great and I expect they will fit all year even with any growth spurts. Saved money by not purchasing directly from studio even with shipping! We will be back for another pair when she does actually grow out of them.

Good quality.

I ordered these for my daughter and they were too small. Quality was good. These are the second pair I was attempting to buy from this seller because the first were great. I returned at Kohl's Amazon kiosk and it couldn't have been easier. No line, instant refund back to my card. Didn't order a larger size with them because they didn't have the next size up.

I measured many times and found the measurement match with her current size. I ordered and was v nervous until we got it. Its good fit perfect to her actual shoe. she has not gone to class in it yet but she wears them at home and practices all the time. Happy purchase

You don't have to pay a lot for good quality

Our previous shoes were Blochs, but we took a change on this one as the last pair a shoe developed a gaping hole in the toe tip. We're happy with it. The fit was as expected, no compensation for sizing was needed. Previous shoes were for dancing, this pair is for theater performances.

Great Jazz Shoes for a 6 Year Old

These were for my 6 yr old grandson who takes dancing lessons. These shoes were a requirement for the type of dancing he is currently learning. I have to trust that his words were true "I love these shoes Grandma. There's even room for my feet to grow a little in them. They are cool". They look well made and only time will tell if they can handle the dancing.

Fit perfectly, lots of stretch

When I opened these shoes, I was sure I'd have to send them back because they looked so small. But my daughter tried them on and they fit great. The middle of the shoe is stretchy all the way around so you have a nice snug feel. I followed the size chart and it worked out perfectly. I was able to find these in Amazon warehouse too, which is worth a shot if you want to save some money! A lot of people send back perfectly good shoes because they didn't fit. So it's worth checking out the other sellers to see if there's a pair in the size you need.

My daughter loved these shoes

My daughter loved these shoes! The soft elastic around the middle of the shoe made the shoes easy to put on and take off, and also made the shoe fit securely and snug to her foot without being too tight or uncomfortable. This is the best pair of jazz shoes we have found!

Great for first year jazz

My 5 year old is starting her first year of jazz. I didnt want to spend $35 at the dance school in case she doesnt like it. These are perfect! They seem like a good quality. Se wears an 11.5M now so I ordered a 12M and they are perfect. They are a little tight to get on but it will be easier when she has on tights. I am glad I went this route and saved $15.
