This coat rack is AWESOME. Totally worth the money and actually made of wood (which is hard to find nowadays). Yes, you cam see the screws, but I find that with the lighter wood choice, that it is not a very prominent detail. I'm so happy with this product! It looks super classy, just in time for family get togethers that I desperately needed space to hang coats for and for myself of course.

Yeah... Its not family heirloom quality, but its pretty darn close! After reading some other reviews and buying similar items off amazon, I was hoping I'd get something decent, and I did! This thing is solid, it holds a lot of weight, it looks great, and it was easy enough to figure out how to put together. (yes the instructions are not that good).

I'm pretty happy with this purchase and the price I paid for it. I ordered the WHITE version, and it arrived within a few days. It was easy to put together w/pre-drilled holes (only tool I needed was a Phillips screwdriver). I assembled it by myself in about 30 minutes in front of the TV while watching Charlie & the Chocolate Factory with my kids (the Gene Wilder version - still holds up!). I immediately put 12 coats on it, including 3 large ski jackets and a couple of sweater-type jackets. The rack is very sturdy, and I have no concerns that it will not continue to support the weight of what has been placed on it. The painted wood could have used another coat, but honestly, for what I paid and for the fact that this is solid wood (and not cheap metal), I'm really pleased overall. The top spins easily, and is a cool feature. It also comes w/4 rubber protection pieces for the bottom feet, which will protect flooring (love this feature, as we have stained concrete in the room where we placed this item). Pro Tip for putting it together (as the instructions are in pic format only) - be sure to separate the long screws from the short screws - you use up most of the short screws first when building the top (I mistakenly grabbed a long screw first and realized after screwing it in that I needed a short screw, so unscrewed and started over - took a minute only, but wasted effort). Also, be sure when you're putting the bottom stand pieces together that you face the bottom pieces w/the pre-drilled screwing component for the rubber footers towards the ground - I accidentally screwed the first one on upside down, and realized my mistake when I went to put on the little rubber footers, and had to unscrew and screw again with that feature facing the ground.

LOVE LOVE LOVE ~ Looks like an expensive coat rack. There are A LOT of pieces and parts to assemble. My husband put it together rather quickly. He said it was easy~ just time consuming. Once he agrees to put another one together~ I will order one for our backdoor. *Holds a lot of coats, scarves, hats, etc.

Love this. Everything predrilled. Fit perfectly together. When putting either the base or the top together you just have to barely install the screws until you get all the screws installed then tighten up a little on each screw at a time as you rotate through the screws. That way the assembly can self align as the assembly is tightened. Mine is sturdy. I don't know what wood is used for the rack, but the stain has better coverage than some of the one coat paints I've used..

Although it was a lot of effort to assemble, it's totally worth the money. I think it looks more expensive than it costs. It's a classic design and old-fashioned the way a coat tree is supposed to look.

Exactly what I was looking for! These have that classic style that is impossible to find at any price point. These are sturdy, mindblowingly low priced, look great and are really functional. I bought 3, one in each color for different rooms. I love them! I enjoyed putting them together myself. It was fun and easy. Only issue is that the counter sunk screws are visible. Otherwise A++! Thanks !

Worth the money its beautiful and easy to assemble.

This coat tree fits beautifully right where I wanted it. It was very simple to put together (watch out for the screw lengths though...short/long!) No chips or dents in the wood, perfectly packaged and smelled like new furniture :-) The umbrella holder part is meant more for taller umbrellas, so we just hang our kids' umbrellas from the smaller top hooks. Works great! We love this coat tree!

Don't know how we did without it. Before, coats and things were draped on chairs, or whatever else was available, instead of taking time to go hang something up in a closet - if it was conveniently available. The house is so much more neat with this hat/coat/umbrella rack. A welcome addition to any home. And it's a form of entertainment . . . . . you can practice throwing your hat from across the room!
