Versatile.
Used with many sauces and cooks up so quickly. Hint: if you want to break them before cooking, break them before opening the plastic pouch so you don't make as much mess.

I would like to start by saying my five star rating is ...
I would like to start by saying my five star rating is for both the product and customer service. I bought these noodles and loved them but then found that my child could not have processed bleached white flours and bleached rices etc.. because they caused seizure activity in him. He has to eat only complex carbs. I asked what kind of rice was used to make the noodles and the communities answers were kind but because i didnt explain my reasoning well i didn't get the information i needed. Even the manufacturer answered and when I told them that I needed further information, they gave me an email address that I could use to get the information i needed. Well lo and behold, these noodles are made with rice that is naturally white, not bleached like most of the rice products we find in foods which have been stripped of their color and nutrients. These are naturally occuring white rices which are complex carbs so my son is safe to enjoy these delicious noodles and that means that they are filling and will not spike your blood sugar, even though we are not diabetic, that is still important. Most foods in todays markets are unhealthy processed junk that has been stripped of its nutritional value in order to save money. THank you Thai Kitchen for your commitment to quality.

Love these rice noodles! Gluten free!
Extremely easy to cook. Instructions say to boil water, remove from heat, put in the noodles and let set for up to 10 minutes. I found that this leaves the noodles under cooked and a bit dry and tough. Alternatively, I put the noodles in boiling water, leave the heat on, return to a boil, and then boil for 10 minutes stirring occasionally. Noodles are soft but don’t fall apart or disintegrate. Sometimes I boil for up to 15 minutes while stirring. Then take a jar or two of the pad Thai sauce or the peanut sauce (or one jar of each) from the same brand. Stir in with the cooked/drained noodles, and you’re quickly done making a delicious dish. I add cooked shrimp. All you need is a pot, a colander for draining the cooked noodles, and a spoon to get the sauce out of the jar and stir it all together. Fast, easy, delicious. Try it.

Great for Stir-Fry
Great for stir-fry. The individual packets make it easy to not have excess waste. When I heat my leftover stirfry, I just make another packet and have fresh noodles with the leftover meat, veggies and sauce. It makes it taste like it was never left-overs to begin with and I don't end up throwing it away.

SO Glad We Tried These
I'm a complete novice when it comes to Thai cooking. I've always been afraid that Thai might irritate an intestinal problem I have, because I have to be so careful with what kinds of spices I eat. But the Hubs and I were feeling adventurous and we had to fill up the last corner of our Prime Pantry box, so we decided to try these. Before purchasing I looked up the product on various websites and found that it had a Chicken Pad Thai recipe on the back of the package - which was great because I didn't know a thing about cooking Pad Thai and really wanted to try it. I purchased A Taste of Thai Pad Thai Sauce, 3.25 oz Box, 6 Piece from the Pantry, and before the box arrived I made sure to have green onions, bean sprouts, peanuts and some boneless, skinless chicken thighs ready to go. The box tells you to boil water, put the noodles in the water and remove the pan from the burner for 8 minutes, then drain and rinse the noodles under cold water before adding to your recipe. I followed these instructions to the letter and had a perfect result. The noodles were not over-cooked at all. Out of curiosity, I compared these instructions to another manufacturer's noodles at my local store which said to boil for 4 minutes, let stand for 4 minutes, then drain and rinse under cold water. I didn't have a good result with the second method at all, so I'll just stick to Thai Kitchen's instructions on the package. Please don't interpret anything I've written to mean that I think of myself as an expert - I'm a total newbie to Thai cooking and I'm frankly surprised at myself for having even tried this But I just love the flavor and texture we got from these noodles with the sauce mentioned above. If you've never tried Thai Pad at home before, this might be a good way to dip your toe in the water, so to speak.

Gluten-Free Winner!
As far as Gluten-free noodles go, these are one of the best. It is my experience that many gluten-free noodles taste great the first time you cook them, but re-heat them and BLAH, they taste awful. These however are different. They taste great the first time and even retain their good texture and taste when reheated. My family can't even tell they are gluten-free. Definitely a winner in my house. The price here is very comparable to what I find in my local grocery store. With shipping to my front door, it is so much easier to buy them here.

Delicious and great for camping!
We love these noodles! We've taken them backpacking and made some delicious food while in the back country, they take up some pack space but are very lightweight and are so worth it. I take them out of the packaging and crunch them up a bit for backpacking so they take up a smaller amount of space. We eat them regularly at home too. They cook up well and quickly! no preservatives!

Super great deal on some very tasty noodles. The packaging was very secure with no air leaks. They tasted great and had an amazing absorbency to them. I prepare a lot of asian, Tia, chinese food and these are so easy to fix that it was an excellent choice for my needs. I would definatly recomend to anyone who loves to cook as i do, you will not be dissaponted.
