My 11 year old asked for this for his birthday! Of course, that is after he was able to solve the Rubik’s cube. He was able to figure this out the same day! Great for hands and mind. My son moves a lot. Touches things a lot. This was great for him!

It is Awesome it turns smoothly the colors are cool but it is a bit to easy to solve

Really good for the price!

This may be one of my first pyraminx puzzles, but I think I can safely say that this one is pretty good. Maybe a speedcuber would prefer a better, more expensive pyraminx, but casual cubers (including me) should be able to enjoy the puzzle's quality build. It uses small, metal orbs that are spring-loaded to snap into place for a nice, clicky feeling when turned. While writing this review, I tried corner-cutting, and it seems to be able to corner-cut decently for an effectively tetrahedron-shaped Rubik's cube. I also haven't been able to pop anything yet, forcibly or accidentally. If you don't know about corner-cutting or cube popping, then don't worry about all of that :) Very nice puzzle, would recommend to friends.

Fewer sides than a cube

If you can do the cube, this is fun...though not as challenging. It only has four sides and six "traveling" pieces when all is told. Two algorithms will get you to the solution. Great novelty gift for your cubing friends.

Fantastic puzzle cube!

My husband, three children and I LOVE this new and different speed cube. Our household loves all puzzle cubes and this one is definitely very fun, sturdy and creative. We have loved it and the challenges that it has posed. It is well made and sturdy. Great product and loads of fun!

Great for our 8 year old!

We got this for our 8 year old for Christmas and it has continued to entertain and challenge him since he received it. He loves it! He has a 3x3 and 2x2 Rubix cubes, and loves those. So we figured this triangle might be a hit as well. And we were right. It's made of good quality that we can see - it turns easily and smoothly.

Fun addition to his addiction!

My son ordered the Pyraminx and practically camped at the mailbox waiting for it to come! He absolutely loves it! He was pleased with the feel of it in his hands and the way it turns. It was bigger than he expected, which was also a bonus. He played with it for a few hours, read the instructions, and by the next day had the algorithms figured out and was solving it without problem. He continues to enjoy searching for patterns he can make as well as new ways to solve it.

Great puzzle, superb quality

I always wanted this puzzle since it's much different looking than the traditional cube. When I received it, I was amazed at how easy it was to turn. The product itself is very sturdy and durable in my opinion and the stickers seem to hold up quite well. Compared to the traditional 3x3, this puzzle is slightly easier. Similar to the 2x2 in difficulty. I would say this met and exceeded my expectations by far. I was able to complete my first solve in about 10 minutes with little prior knowledge other than 3x3 methods. I can regularly do this now in about 30 seconds to 1 minute. This is definitely a great addition to my collection.

Fun twist on classic puzzle

Moves as smoothly as a Rubik's cube, good quality and fun even after playing around with it for several hours. The pyramid is less symmetric if you're looking to set creative patterns, i.e. no radioactive triangle sign due to the corners being fixed 3 colors-still able to rotate on their own but more like the fixed center square on the 3x3 cube with extra 2 sides. This puzzle is definitely one to add for the collection!

Excellent extenstion of Rubik's Cube

Excellent extension concept of the Rubik's cube. Well made and sturdy. Lots of variations and designs possible. Has kept my daughter happily occupied for hours!
