Good buy and decent price.

I purchased this last minute for a camping trip and wasn't expecting much for the price, but overall it surpassed my expectation. The fan only lasted two and a half nights (about 20 hours) on the high setting, but it lasted longer than the description said it would. The light was nice and bright and lit up my whole tent. On the low setting, the fan only created a faint breeze, but on the high setting I could feel the air on my face from 6-7 feet away. Having two hinges made it easy to point the fan and light in separate directions and overall I was happier with it than I thought I'd be.

Great Product! Give off good light the fan works good. Light lit up the whole tent. It was really hot outside so it could only give a slight breeze. Overall I am satisfied.

Nice!!

I used this camping at the faster horses music festival and it was so nice to have!!! The light is great. Lite up my whole tent. The fan has two settings, low and high. I had it on high every night and it really makes a difference. I have a 3 person tent. It takes 6 D batteries and I used it all night for 4 nights and accidentally had it on the whole 3 hours home in my bag and the batteries are still working. I didn't use the light very long. Love the it just hooks easily. Had it hooked in the top of my tent above me. Love this fan.

It's that gadget you didn't know you needed, but now can't live without!

I love this camping gadget. I have a 12x12 tent that attaches to my teardrop camper. (Honestly, the entire camper could fit inside it) I plan on using this as a ceiling light, and the fact that it has a two speed fan is icing on the cake.

Worked Great for a 2 Person Tent, Would Recommend

I went camping this week and I just hate when it's sooooo darn hot in the tent and of course, there's no place to put a fan AND a light. This one worked perfectly. It hung by it's built in hook to the top of the tent, the light was just right and the fan was quiet and effective for a 2 person tent. Happy I bought it.

Provides a gentle breeze and soft light

Uses 2 D cell batteries to power the lamp and fan. The lamp gives a good light that is not overly bright but plenty to light up my 11x9 tent. I used it camping and ran the fan on high all night, the fan is pretty quiet and although it does not provide a lot of wind, it does give a gentle breeze that keeps the air circulating in the tent. The light ring moves separately from the fan unit, they can be facing in two different directions. Seems like a good unit after this early test, let's see if it lasts.

Lasted 3 nights on high fan!

This is the best camping fan I've found, the high setting is the most powerful I've felt, the light is great looking, there are so many ways to hang it and position it, and I like that it takes D batteries so I can just swap in new ones if I need. I got 2 of these for camping 3 nights and had them on high all night each night as well as using the light for a couple hours in the evening. The morning after the 3rd night one fan was dead and the second was running as fast as the slow setting usually does so I'd say these are good for 2.5 nights on high on 1 set of 2 D batteries each. I'm impressed!

This Little Light Of Mine

Very pleased with this little item. It's so versatile and light! Just get one, you'll find numerous ways to benefit from having it, camping, concerts, beach, office, kitchen ... anywhere! It is quiet and kept my tent air circulating along with the tent's big windows. And the lighting is perfect. Use it just for the lights, just for the fan or use both at the same time. You can direct the light or the air just about any direction you please. Don't let it's size confuse you. This little light and fan will be one of you favorite camping accessories and when you get it home, don't forget to put it back with your camping gear or you'll be sorry. Better yet, just buy two (one for the house and one to stay with your camping gear)!
