This thing worked! Grand Cayman, Jamaica

I bought 3 of these for our cruise to Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica. I was weary at first, because this product worked for some and not for others. So I tested this product 3x (with the paper, with an old iPhone, and with my phone prior to trip) no leaks noted. Used this product in the water at the Grand Cayman; no leaks. Used it in Jamaica at Dunns River Falls, we were in numerous lagoons and water falls where my phone was submerged and getting wet constantly, afterwards no leaks. All three cases did there job, no trouble taking pictures while climbing the falls. I was advised and HIGHLY RECOMMEND test the product as I did with the paper, with an old phone and your actual phone and to follow the instructions explicitly.

delivered on time, it passed the water test, i took it to hawaii last week. worked as promised.. took it in the ocean , the pictures came out perfect,, the only drawback was when i took a picture above the water was hard to see what i was getting due to glare.. however i snapped away which is very cool being able to use my phone in this case & get clear pics..

Great Case

Great case. Totally waterproof! It floats, and is not heavy around my neck. Used it while banana boating in the ocean as well as snorkeling. Not a drop of water inside, and stayed on my neck throughout. Make sure to do the water test first though!

Very impressed with product.

Wasn't sure how good it would work but after week in Cancun I can say I highly recommend. The bag worked flawless. The thing that impressed me the most and I am not sure how they did it but it picked up my voice distortion free while on surface of water. I thought it would be muffled and it was not. Even underwater swimming audio was good. For double this price it would have been worth it. It also allows you to swipe above water and use phone to start camera. Better for video as trying to press button to take photo is difficult and underwater it is literally impossible to get good photo with limitations of phone camera. Video is way to go. Also try to keep plastic in front of lens as close as possible to minimize distortion from the plastic being to far away.

Watertight protection for your phone

Works really well for use on my kayak while fishing. I can still use the phone normally and take pictures. I don't use the headphone jack though so I could do without the cord inside the case, but it's not too obtrusive. The lanyard included with the product is great to tether to the boat and I don't ever have to worry about losing the phone. It does require a little bit of adjusting to get the phone sealed in there without a bunch of air, but once you get the right fit it's good all day. I feel very confident bringing my phone on trips now, this was ideal for my purposes.

Worked Perfectly. Must Buy for Vacations.

I just went on vacation with this waterproof bag, and it really served its purpose! I was so pleased with the bag, especially since I got it for like ten bucks. My boyfriend spent 80 dollars on a waterproof case for his phone, and we both took underwater pictures that were equal in quality. The best part was that he dropped his phone with the 80 dollar waterproof case and it sank to the bottom of the ocean. We spent twenty minutes diving for it before we found it. I dropped my phone in the Vansky floatable waterproof bag, and it instantly popped back up to the surface. The neck strap was also useful. I went snorkeling, went on a sea trek, and went horseback swimming with this bag. It was also great for keeping out sand and muck that would have potentially harmed my phone. I will purchase several more of these for the next vacation.

Tight fit for Galaxy S8+, but it works to protect phone

I purchased this waterproof case for my Samsung Galaxy S8+. I did do the water test, as requested, but I weighted the case down to ensure it was completely submerged - and promptly forgot about it. I came back an hour later - no leaks! Great! I took this on vacation and used it with my S8+ in a fairly thick case. It was a tight fit, but I was able to get it in there, with the case on. It does take some finagling to center the phone in the case properly. I did notice the touchscreen could be erratic but I am not sure if that was from the tight fit or water on the exterior of the case during use. Since I was wanted this to protect the phone from surf and sand rather than to take pictures in the water, I it wasn't a major issue for me. If I used a thinner case or took the case off, I am sure the phone would fit better. I was able to use the lanyard around my neck, so I didn't leave my phone unattended on the beach. This case did the job, protecting my new phone from sand and ocean water. I am pleased with its performance, and will pack it on future trips.

Dry! With a long leash!

I have not used it yet on vacation---but I completely tested it here at home. I LOVE IT. No leaks! Makes so much sense. And I look forward to going to the beach, to travel with confidence. :) I want my phone dry and sand-free and on a nice long leash around my neck so I don't lose it. This thing is brilliant. Fun that it pretty much fits any phone. I did the water test with the water test paper. Brilliant. Perfectly dry. I don't think I'll go under water with this thing---it's a psychological issue. I just don't think I can! But, I love that it is entirely protected for when I take my upcoming 1 week vacation on an island in French Polynesia!

Took it out kayaking, pics looked sharp through the plastic sleeve - and tested the floating capabilities as true. Loved that the packaging came with a tester strip to ensure product was sound for use, very thoughtful!!!
