I have a KitchenAid and this product works well...and the seller's service is OUTSTANDING!

I originally gave this product 1 star because I have a KitchenAid and, after I installed the filer, the "Replace H2O Filter" warning light STILL flashed on my refrigerator. It fit well enough to filter the water- but the replacement warning light was still blinking. HOWEVER, I was able to speak to seller representative Randy who, with Mary's help, was able to help me reset the water filter light on my refrigerator. So NOW...I have clean, filtered water AND I no longer have the 'Replace H2O Filter' warning light AND I saved @ 50% off regular filters by buying this product. I highly recommend this filter AND this seller!

Works perfect

I have been buying this brand to go in my fridge for a couple of years now. Easy to install and works just as good as the original. I have never had a problem - it comes shrink wrapped, and even comes with a seal over the opening to keep germs and particles from getting into the filter before installed. My family drinks a lot of water from the fridge and everyone loves the taste. Will continue to buy these until I get a new fridge.

I had been spending over $60 on our water filter at an appliance store! I hated it, we have well water so we have to replace ours more frequently. I already buy quite a bit from Amazon so not sure why I hadn't bothered to check for a filter! Matched up with our number and shipping was quick, fits perfectly in our Maytag, will be purchasing all of ours from here from now on! Always love saving and having a good product!

Works as advertised.

Its as advertised. I feel this filter worked better than my last Maytag brand as the water pressure is stronger with this one.

My Water Dispenser Flows Freely Again!

My Whirlpool refrigerator displayed a “Replace Filter” alarm after it was one year old. I noticed that the water flow the dispenser had really slowed down as well. Decided to try this filter and I am very happy with the performance. I unscrewed the old filter (keep a couple of paper towels under the dispenser when you uninstall/reinstall the filter as water will drip a little bit) and screw the new filter into the housing. Only takes about 1/4 turn, so don’t over tighten it. Remember to slowly fill the new filter with water to “prime” it before you install it. Now the water flow is noticeably stronger and water tastes great! Great product at a great price.

Just as good as the Whirlpool filters

I have purchased this product several times from this vendor. This vendor is responsive and I usually have my filter in 48 hours or less. The filter fits my Kitchenaid refrigerator perfectly and requires 30 seconds to uninstall the old one and then reinstall the new one. Based upon our water usage (which is a lot), the filter usually lasts about 9 months - 1 year before the control board tells me to change it. I have also used test strips to verify the quality of the water coming out of my refrigerator (post filtration) and there is no doubt this filter does what its suppose to do.

So far this product has been great! It fit perfectly in our Kitchen Aid fridge and the water tastes great. I'll update this review when the life of the filter wears out and I see how long it lasted. At this time I will definitely be buying it again. The price was great and the company has checked in with me to make sure I'm happy with the product and didn't have any problems.

Quality Part

This is my second purchase of this item. As water quality and flow diminish, it's actually past time to replace the filter. The ordering experience is easy on this item, and the delivery was on time and in excellent condition. My SO installed it, so it was super easy! The only thing to make it better is an alert to remind me to reorder in a year. But little stickers to put the installation month and year on the filter should help. Just drop the filter door down and there's the date this one was installed right on the bottom staring at you.

So far great product...

The most important thing to consider is if this filter will fit as promised, perform as promised and last as expected. The fit was perfect for my Maytag (but so was my previous bargain priced filter). As far as performance, it’s only been about 2 weeks but I saw immediate improvement in water dispenser pressure and water clarity. Additionally, my fridge isn’t making all sorts of small noises like it was with my previous bargain prices filter as it processed the water. Hopefully this performance will last but “right out of the gate” I would say this is a much higher quality unit than the the lower priced units offered on Amazon. Order was processed quickly and my order was received very fast as expected.

This filter works well

This filter does a good job removing particulates. I used it in my Bosch refrigerator and its fit fine. I measured the TDS in the water coming out of the fridge thru this cartridge and the score was 244. My tap water, the source for my fridge has a TDS scores of 445. So this filter removes over 50% of particulates in my water. That's excellent!
