The ONLY thing that I dislike about these is that they stink to high hell
I bought these in order to safely conduct oil changes and other minor car repairs that require me to get under the vehicle - I ended up opting for these over less expensive brands because of the "Heavy Duty Rubber" construction (figured plastic ones would slip on my epoxy-sealed garage floor) - and let me tell you, boy do they work. I forgot to remove them when I was done with my girlfriend's oil change, and when she went to back out of the garage the car wouldn't move. Seriously solid construction, I feel very safe working under my cars with them. I ended up buying 4, as I like to chock the front and back of both wheels on the ground during oil changes - might be overkill, but it might save me some early funeral costs I suppose. The ONLY thing that I dislike about these is that they stink to high hell! I have these stored in my garage within a storage cabinet - my entire garage has a faint rubber smell, and the storage cabinet smells like it's made entirely of rubber. I'm sure this will dissipate over time, but dang do they smell! As long as you store them outside, you cannot go wrong with these. Don't hesitate, just go ahead and get them now. EDIT: After about 2-3 weeks of sitting in my storage cabinet, the strong odors have finally started to dissipate. I thought that this would take longer due to the intense odors, but the scent is barely noticeable now. Great product!!!

Well made, solid and non-slip wheel chocks. Yeah, they smell funny but it goes away and who cares anyway
Excellent quality tire chocks. They are tall enough to be safe, the rubber holds well on concrete and they are small enough to keep around the shop and be out of the way. I read some comments about how these "smell" really bad. That's accurate, they do sort of stink for a few weeks but it goes away and I'm working in a garage, not a beauty salon.

Work excellent but they do stink to high heaven (initially)
As other reviewers have noted, these have a very potent chemical smell. I washed mine and left them in the rain for a week and that definitely helped, then I bagged them before storing in the garage. I still gave them five stars because they work absolutely awesome. I use them to change my oil while on ramps and they absolutely do not budge. I've forgotten they were there and tried to get my car off the ramps and it wouldn't move, so they work exactly as intended.

WORKS GREAT!
I've used wood blocks, rocks, and various other items around the garage to chock my wheels for years. I finally decided, for safety reasons, to get some legitimate chocks. These are small but very durable, and don't budge when there is some weight behind them. I used the for my Chevy Silverado 3500HD, and they work great. Due to the quality of the material, I anticipate these will last for a very long time. DO yourself a favor and buy a set, they don't take up much room, and they make getting under any car much safer.

Perfect size for Car Emergency Kit
I purchased a bunch of these and attached bolt with round eyelet/washers/nuts and connected two with a small rope to use in our cars for changing a tire. This keeps them together and reminds my kids/wife to use one in front and back of the opposite side and front to back of the tire when changing a flat. I think these chocks are smaller than other quality chocks but, perfect size to be effective and heavy duty and VERY effective for stabilizing a wheel to prevent a car from falling off the jack when changing another tire. My kids have used chocks twice when out on the road and needed to change a tire. Great product, excellent quality. They do stink at first so let them air outside for a week or so if needed.

Way better than the plastic ones
These things are great. Once you use these, you won't ever trust those cheap plastic ones again...not that I ever did anyway. As an example, I ran over one of the hard plastic re-enforced yellow ones with my camper a couple of times...it actually smushed nearly flat - worthless. I wouldn't worry about running over these with a bobcat. They would maybe sink in the ground, but not smash. I will have to agree with some reviewers...they are pretty stinky when you get them; like a combination of fresh asphalt, rubber and tar. I left them on the porch for a couple of weeks and it was better, but after a year of using I barely notice the smell. But, really...if you need these, you are probably around a bunch of other smelly things associated with vehicles, so stop cry-babying about things stinking. If you are worried about that, I would suggest not storing them in the kitchen or living room

If you want wheel chocks, these are wheel chocks.
These are pretty good. Solid rubber, heavy, sturdy, but smaller than expected. They will definitely do the job though. The pictures are of one chock on a standard magazine.

I got a Smacker!
Hubby used these on ice and they didn't slip. When he finished his work for the heck of it he left the chocks on rear wheels and tried to reverse....they would not move, he tried again and again. He's impressed and I got a big kiss!

Great Wheel chocks for the price.
These wheel chocks are made of solid rubber. They do have a very strong smell when you first take them out of their platic wrap. What I did is I washed them with lots of Dawny soap and let them air outside overnight. The smell was greately diminished immediately I finished washing them. Now they don't smell unless you sniff them upclose. So far they have performed great. They hold to the tires firmly. Although a little bit of the ridges have broken off due to the contact pressure with the tire, but the chocks are still very strong in one piece. One feature that would Improve them is to add "teeth" to the bottom edges for better traction.

Very Solid
These wheel chocks are very solid, but their rubber composition gives them far more traction on a surface than plastic chocks. I bought them because they are slightly more tapered and have a lower profile than many other wheel chocks. My primary purpose is for use on a stepped leveling ramp for side-to-side leveling on a POPUP camp trailer. Their low profile and taper enables them to fit nicely in this application. Given their size and shape, I think they would be less appropriate for use on my tow vehicle's 20" wheels. I'd want a larger wheel chock for that application. Read the dimensions on these and others and choose an appropriate sized, but for my needs, these are ideal. PS. They "stink". The rubber smell is quite strong. But it dissipates, and these belong in a trunk, tool box or RV storage space...where you don't smell them anyway. :-)
