Good for the minimalist!

I was looking for a simple lamp extension cord for my grow bulb to keep my little cacti farm happy during the dark New England winter and this was the perfect fit for it! It's long, light, and it fits medium bulb bases. Low cost, good quality, simple design.

Convenient, Easy, Affordable, Portable, Just as Described

If you're moving or have recently moved, this is a handy item to have. (Lights and plugs aren't always in the location you want.) Just plug it in and hang it up. The cord length lets you move it where you want, the kit comes w/ hooks. It has a handy on/off switch on the cord, not the bulb, so you can click it on when you walk into a room, and you don't have to blind yourself shutting it off. My LED bulb fit comfortably and no flickering. In the future, I plan to fancy this up in a Pinteresty kind of way. Super handy, definitely recommend.

excellent product, company fixed power rating

it is well constructed, and switch is apparently durable. BUT, RATING OF DEVICE is 660 W, but SWITCH is 3A at 125v, for approx. 350 W, NOT 660 W. I have sent a comment to seller also ADENDUM, I notified the company about the switch rating, they have edited the description. GREAT customer response. AND, great product. If you use LED lights with these, there will probably never BE any power over-use issue anyway

Power Cord Plugs Are two-Prong POLARIZED. FYI Not in description!! Beware, get compatible plugs/devices. I bought the Power Extension Cord Cable 6.6ft with 24Hr Cycle Timer Switch for use with these, wont work as the Timer Switch plugs are NOT set to accept Polarized Plug devices. Off to spend more money... :-(

Works great

I love it, it's nice and simple just put in a bulb and click the switch. The problem that everyone has on the switch being too close to the bulb is true but for me it's great because I use it in my closet and that puts the switch in easy reach. Any regular light bulb fits. Such an improvement over using diffetent kinds of fluorescent and rechargeable ones that don't give enough light or need to be charged every week. I love being able to have my closet completely lit up. Real lightbulbs all the way since you can get them in all different wattages.

I was so happy to find this item and at such a great price. One of the best things about it is that I can change the shade if I want and move it to another room. Works like a charm

This is exactly as described: a molded plug, cable, switch and standard home lightbulb socket. The product is solidly built and packaged in simple plastic bag. I hung three of these off the ceiling over my work area in the garage and fitted them with LED floodlights. Works like a charm.

Answer to my problem. Perfect solution.

Wanted to find way to add motion light to a place where there was no light fixture and no outlet. This is the solution. Plug it into the wall and drape the cord up the wall and over to the area needing light. Then let it hang down and put a motion sensing bulb in. Perfect. Problem solved

It's a wonderful, wonderful invention. new to me, as I'd never even imagined this sort of thing. I've been battling people telling me to buy floor lamps or hang giant florescent tubes. Why on earth, when you can hang light bulbs, almost unseen, directly above the area and choose a quiet, but perfect bulb and/or shade? Long cord, great button switch!

The item works perfect! I tested it with a variety of light bulbs, I put the unit in different positions, and moved around room to room. Now it has a home in my garage providing light to a originally very dark corner. Great buy for the price. Will definitely be purchasing a few more.
