Cooks crispy bacon
This thing is great! Within four minutes in the microwave, we get crispy bacon. Just make sure you put a piece of paper towel over the rack and bacon to prevent spatter. And, if you cook your vegetables with bacon grease, just pour it in a lidded jar and place in the refrigerator until you need it. Nothing turns me off more than bacon that is half cooked and limp.

Even better than I hoped
This gadget works even better than I hoped. My wife is on a ketogenic diet so her bacon intake has increased about 300% lately... plus I love it too. So I was getting really tired of frying bacon all the time. It's messy and I have to watch it constantly so it doesn't burn in the middle. We also are not crazy about the "instant" bacon available in stores. She found this cooker and ordered it. I wasn't sure it would work, but I was willing to give it a try. My wife likes her bacon VERY crispy... like almost burned. So I put in six pieces and cooked them for about 12 minutes (in smaller increments) and each piece came out exactly to her specifications. All of them were evenly cooked and absolutely perfect. She was thrilled with the consistency and I was thrilled with the ease of use. It's dishwasher safe and easy to use and store. As the instructions state, I draped each plastic stand with a paper towel and that worked well too. No splatter or mess inside the microwave. I enjoy cleaning the inside of the microwave as much as I enjoy frying bacon. :) So, I am really happy with this sucker. I was very skeptical about it's quality and utility but it turned out to be one of our best purchases ever. Highly recommended to bacon fanatics.

Wow! So good. So durable. So easy.
We now have 2 microwaves in our kitchen, and one of them is officially tagged as the bacon microwave. We have used this little device about 70 or 80 times since we got it a year ago, and we'll keep on using it for as long as this planet has those wonderful, magical animals called pigs. Best bacon ever! Best way to catch bacon grease ever! And the best ever way to prepare bacon while practically eliminating smoke and cleanup. The bacon comes out fully cooked and moist, with just the right amount of crisp to it. The grease is easily poured into a ceramic glass to use later for pancakes and eggs and toast. Bacon grease goes great on just about everything, and the wonder of this little device is that not only does it have us consuming more bacon due to its ease of use; it also has us taking advantage of that yummy grease like never before. Yay bacon! Thank you, Presto, for this Bacon Microwave Cooker. Thank you. Thank you.

It's kind of a must have if you cook a lot of bacon
I'm so embarrassed that I like this. I hate excessive kitchen gadgets and appliances, especially ones that are totally unnecessary. But I love this. We make a lot of bacon in our house and I used to use a ceramic bowl on a plate to make it. However I hated cleaning it up and scrubbing it. This works soooo well, I seriously enjoy using it. I put a paper towel over the top to prevent splatters in the microwave and I pour the grease in the garbage before rinsing and putting it in the dishwasher. This thing is amazing and still looks new after dozens of uses.

BLTs will need a different bacon layout
This thing is so simple, elegant and works. Amazingly great. It arrived yesterday. Had some bacon and learned that I need about 55 sec per slice to get the crunch I like. Just remember to place a paper towel over the hole setup before nuking to keep splatter down. The drippings falling off into the tray make a huge difference. Nice an crunchy - or not - your choice. The drippings easily can be poured into any old food container. Clean up is just a soapy wash away. The vertical parts fit into the bottom tray nicely. Only downside is that the resulting cooked bacon is folded in half, so BLTs will need a different layout. ;)

Greatest thing since sliced bread!!!
This cooker is AMAZING!!! Cooks the bacon absolutely perfect! I easily can fit 12 slices of bacon and cook them all at once. All of the grease falls into the tray. I drape a couple of paper towels over the top and cook it for 1 minute per slice, which reduces the splatter to almost nothing! I only have to lightly wipe my microwave door. Highly recommend!

Quick and Easy!
I like crisp bacon. This does the trick. 3 strips, 4 minutes. Tonight, made 10 strips all at once for a casserole. 12 minutes or so. I’m on the keto diet so this makes breakfast quick and easy. Have no issues with any of the material melting. Place a paper towel over the bacon to prevent splatter and you are good to go. Will update this post if I end up dying from all the bacon I’ve been cooking. Arteries don’t fail me now!

Fantastic. When I first used it
Fantastic. When I first used it, I cooked too long and it melted the white slots a bit. Bought another one and it's been totally fine. The first one was totally my fault obviously. We use this very often. Tried it with bacon the first time, then switched to turkey bacon from then on and as a side note, it was AMAZING the difference in grease that was in the bottom tray between the two. Turkey basically had none, and we do crispy and it tastes GREAT! We get our turkey bacon at Costco, 9 pieces, 6 minutes & 50 seconds is the sweet spot. Anyway, we love this thing. Got one for parents as well.

Still holding up after a few months of abuse.
I cook A LOT of bacon. Thick, thin, but always a pound or more at a time. I have burned (literally) through dozens of bacon plates. Oven method works well but always tough to clean. So far, this thing has held up to me. I will run 3 trays full of 9 slices back to back, no problem. Cleaning is easy, just dump all your grease and crusty bits then soak in hot soapy water for 30 min. Ready for the dishwasher. If I could change anything, I would add some type of cover to it. I wrap in paper towels but still get grease splatter in my microwave sometimes. I would also make the trays a little harder to pull out. When I go to pull well done bacon off the whole tray comes out. But I can live with those minor issues.

Easy to use, Easy to clean, keeps the grease off the bacon!
This bacon cooker is easy to use, and made some deliciously crispy bacon while keeping our microwave clean! We had been microwaving bacon on a plate with paper towels below and above to soak up the grease, but with this we just need a row on top to keep the grease from splattering over the microwave. Cleanup was just as easy, rinsed the base out with hot soapy water and then put it in the dishwasher to be cleaned on the next run. since everything fits in the base, it does not take up much room. I'd recommend using the outer 2 stands with 4 pieces per stand to get the bacon cooked evenly without risking overcooking. It would be a nice addition to have a plastic cover, but that would make it take up much more room so a paper towel works just as well!
