I've had mixed feelings about this purchase. First, I was irate that the product title didn't use the phrase "Tool/Body Only" like the other DeWalt products do. So I was incensed that I had to buy a $100 battery after the blower arrived. Then I was completely flabbergasted by its tiny size. Honestly, I have bigger kitchen appliances. But then the batteries arrived...and all is forgiven. I purchased this for an elderly renter who has a compulsion to blow debris off of his sidewalk and patio. This blower is the perfect tool for that. It's lightweight, easy to use, and VERY powerful. BTW, this replaces a $80 Black & Decker battery-powered blower that died after 1 month's use.

For its size, the air this thing blows is ridiculous. Perfect when used to clear off dust from a table saw or just dust from anything. I was using the compressed air cans before; this has become my next go-to. FYI: Battery/charger sold separately, so grab the cheaper 1Ah 20v(full size) batteries at your local tool store, (you're not going to have it on long enough to drain it). Cool attachments also (it has an inflator/deflator also? ...thanks!). No hook on the back so just mate some velcro and a carabineer around the handle and hang it up anywhere ...and yes, you could use it as a leaf blower if needed in a pinch (keep that battery charged just in case)

I’ll be honest I didn’t buy this to blow yard debris around. I bought it because it had an inflator and deflator attachment. I was perfect for blowing up my 10ft tall rainbow unicorn raft at the beach. It only took about 7 minutes to blow it up.

It's small (About half the size of a small corded electric blower), but plenty powerful enough for the small jobs I wanted it for. I'm actually surprised at how hard it blows for a motor that's not much bigger than a hair dryer. Definitively not intended to replace a full size blower, so don't complain if you didn't read the description before you bought it. It's not going to replace a gas powered backpack blower or even a full-size electric, but it's a good handy little blower for smaller tasks. Perfect for a quick cleanup of light debris around the shop & leaves that tend to get tracked in during the fall. Also used it to do a quick sweep of the porch & it worked great. Even the smallest of the 20v Dewalt batteries power it plenty log enough for sweeping out a 2-car garage. The inflator/deflator attachments are a nice inclusion for air mattresses. I also look forward to using for drying off the motorcycle after spring/summer washes as well as drying under the hood after engine bay details. One of my favorite little handy shop gadgets yet !!

I just got mine. It's just what I was looking for to use in my woodshop. I blow it out frequently but have been using a gas powered one. Big, bulky, heavy, and loud, and it's always on blowing even at idol so if you try and stop before your shopping list dissappears down the driveway you can't. And there are times when I want to blow off the workbenches and tools. Now I can do all that easily. Although it comes with two tubes, I am just using the short one. I like the dual speeds (lower one for my workbenches, higher for the floor) but you also have variable speed with the trigger and when you let go it goes off instantly. I'll probably use it for blowing leaves out of our breezeway and our entry porch, but I'll leave the driveway to my Stihl gas blower.

I purchased this for my husband’s collection of Dewalt 20V tools. It’s exactly what he needed! The 3 speeds provide great power choices and he was able to blow debris from our porch, patio, sidewalks, and driveway in a matter of minutes. The small, compact size makes it very easy to handle, and the blower with battery is well-balanced. The nozzle accessories for blowing up items is a nice add. Amazon beat everyone else on price by $20. Wins all around!

This small blower met all my expectations and that is the key to being happy with this purchase is managing your expectations. It's a compact blower and excellent for keep your garage floor clean and blow drying your car. I would definetly get 4 or 5 amp battery for extended run time. As previously noted by other reviewers a fully charged 1.5 amp battery gets you about 15 minutes of run time.

Ok, I went back and forth on this item for months. BOY am I glad I finally purchased it! My main reason for wanting this was I do woodworking in my single car garage. It is a FULL garage let me tell you. Along with my various woodworking tools, wood, hand tools, brooms, mops, Harley, auto tools, etc, etc, etc, I get a lot of dust collection. I occasionally have to break out my compressor, which I actually rarely use, to blow the garage out. It works great, but isn't ideal because it's not huge and I constantly have to wait for it to build up pressure. Especially when I need to do some finishing I try to thoroughly blow it out. I finally purchased this small blower. Now, I am a tool buyer for a small regional lumber company and deal with Dewalt a lot. That often gives me the courage to bit the bullet and give a new tool a chance, I know they'll take care of me if it's no good. As usual this was WELL worth the money! Now, for pinpoint air power, my compressor probably still does a better job. However for a broader range this is much more powerful. Overall that is much more useful. If I need to get dust out of small crevices, I will possibly still break out the compressor. For the bulk of my dusting this is what I'll use. For the heck of it I tried it in the house in a few spots hard to get to. It works pretty darn well to clean out vents and the dust bunnies in those high peaks you can't quite reach! As a bonus I will use it when camping to blow up mattresses or floaties with the included attachments. The only thing I wish this came with is something to pinpoint the wind pressure more, but that would probably put too much wear on the motor so I'm ok with it not doing that. For the heck of it, I DID try it on leaves. If you only had small amounts it may work ok, but as expected it wasn't really ideal for that situation. I was not expecting it to and wasn't going to use it for that anyway.

Very nice little blower. I use it for blowing grass off of the driveway and sidewalks after mowing. It does a very nice job. It doesn't have the power of a gas blower, but it suits my needs very well. The battery holds up well and I have never had to switch batteries using it about 10 to 15 minutes after mowing. I also love the light weight that make it so easy to pack around for that 10 to 15 minutes. Would definitely recommend this blower.

After reading all the reviews about the “low” power of this product, I was more than surprised to find out it really packs a punch. I’ve had an older full-size ryobi blower and this dewalt is half the size and at least just as strong. I agree it probably won’t blow wet leaves off the grass but it’s certainly more powerful than most reviews here. because of the power it burns through the battery life faster than I expected with the smaller 2AH 20 volt battery. I’d recommend the 3AH battery. All in all I’m extremely satisfied with the power and size of this blower, especially given my low expectations based on reviews.
