Totally happy with these lights. The lights on our stairs stopped working, and after 4 years, I gave up on my better half to ever fix it. :) It's been a month, and these work every time. Even after the 8 month old Lab puppy chewed on them, and put a hole right next to the "eye". Our stairway is dark, but even in the day, the light detects enough sunlight to not turn on when we pass by it. At night, they turn on when we are a 1-3' away, and turn off fairly quickly after. They're bright enough to see on the steps, and the 11 yr daughter feels "safe" when running up the stairs (no monsters) :) And, even though I call them bright, they're soft enough that when the cats run by them in the middle of the night-- it doesn't shine up into the bedrooms.

Light up really well and do not stay on longer than needed. Very pleased and will order again for other areas. Update 6/2/2016: just replaced the batteries on one of the three that gets turned on the most. That's over 4 months. I'm still happy with these.

Great bright lights! Totally legit!

These battery operated motion lights are great. The technology has improved so much in a short amount of time. They are much brighter than I expected and illuminate just as much as a electric lamp. They are easily mounted using the 3M double sided tape. I use them to illuminate my steps which were dark and dangerous before because I didn't want to turn on the hall light early in the morning and wake my wife. The lights always turn on meaning the motion detector is reliable and always turn on when needed. I bought 1 set and have since gone back to amazon to purchase 2 more sets. My wife calls me a light nerd but she is thankful and admits she sees the light and acknowledges their usefulness I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Absolutely amazing white bright lights not yellow

Absolutely amazing white bright lights not yellow, I went crazy adding lights everywhere. Before, I had to use a hand battery to look to the very end of my cabinets or under the bathroom, even when lights on or daylight very dark and long cabinets. I add them to the top of my cabinets or at the sides of my bathroom cabinets. Very happy customer i also bought AAA batteries from amazon. If you need a picture or any other question please ask. Hubby laughed, he's not laughing now!

These little lights are awesome! They come with magnets on the back for hanging and they also include 2 sided sticky applicators if you want to use on a non-magnetic surface. Hubby thought I was a little crazy when I told him I was buying them so my armoire would light up for me to see my clothes whenever I opened the door. He's not laughing now! I only used one and it worked perfectly! It's been about 6 months and I haven't had to change the batteries at all. The second I mounted underneath a built in cabinet in the archway between living/dining areas and one on the pole of a floor lamp at the bottom of the stairs in the living room. GREAT lights

These lights are the BEST! Even my husband says so, which is unusual. I put them up on the walls going down to my cellar and upstairs to my tenants house. She never turns my light on at night when she goes downstairs and I was afraid someone would fall. So these are PERFECT. I put them on the wall instead of under the stairs because I wanted the whole area to show up, and it DOES. These lights are VERY bright. I'm trying to think of where else I may need them. I bought 2 packs of 6 and it's perfect for two flights of stairs. VERY bright, and go on as soon as you walk, more at night than day, but if it's dark enough they go on in the day too. I would suggest these for anyone, everywhere.

Great product

The light works as described (motion turns it on only in the dark). As it is fairly bright, you may want to install it close to the floor (I learnt this after installing several). Once installed, it is almost impossible to move it without damaging drywall.

It gives off a good amount of light. I have one on each side of my pantry. The kids love that it is motion activated a little to much lol but it's nice to have.

I love these things!

I started with one set just to see if they worked. Put the first three in various dark areas where it would not be practical to install wired lighting. Worked out so well I bought a couple more sets. Then another. There are now dark closets and pantries that light up nicely when the door is opened and the ambient light is low. The light comes on quickly with a bit of motion near them, then go out within seconds after the motion stops (good for saving the batteries).

Excellent product. I don't know how long will it last but right now I'm loving it. I bought 12 of these and looks great in my closet. And planning to buy more.
