A great price for your budding gemologist :-) my kids are into rocks so this is perfect. I love stuff from National Geographic and this is no exception. It is good quality and fun for the littles!

Great product

Plaster was soft enough for my 3 year old to get to the stones. Stones were bigger than I had expected, seeing some of the other reviews. It made my daughter happy and that's really all that matters.

Great Fun for the Kids

Our grandkids are very interested in anything scientific. This product met their curiosity and activity needs beautifully. They got to discover for themselves how gems hide within a rock, and then learn all about their finds in the wonderfully illustrated booklet. I'm sure it will pique their interest in further exploration!

Bought for my 7 year old!

My daughter loved doing this project. Every step was easy and she had a lot of fun looking for the gems. There is a book that comes with it that describes each of them and what they are believed to do. It was educational and fun!

These crystals are dope!

Beautiful crystals. I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she loved being able to physically dig them out of the sand brick. The little booklet it comes with is pretty neat too. Totally awesome product, will buy again in the future.

My 7 year old daughter loved this. I got her this one and her 5 year old brother the dinosaur dig. It occupied them for a couple hours. They had a blast. With that said, it is definitely an outside project. The dust covered them from head to toe.
